Great Value, Good Rooms, Clean Spot

Great location for anyone taking a cruise and departing in a day or two of arriving in San Diego or for coming off the boat and needing a spot before heading home! Right next to a Better Buzz and Starbucks, Ralph’s and Dennys are walking distance (2 blocks maybe)

Doesn’t have any green space for pets but they accept them on property so that’s a plus.

Ok for the night, would not stay for a longer trip.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Air was nice and cold. Room was quite.

Bed was small and not comfortable at all. Bathroom is small. No ice machine. Parking is a bit tight.

FIRST THING IS THEY CHARGED ME FOR PARKING!!! ALREADY PAYING TOO MUCH MONEY FOR THIS QUALITY OF ROOM AND THEY WANT TO CHARGE ADDITIONAL FOR PARKING???? VERY BIG RIPOFF NO CHAIR IN ROOM NO LUGGAGE RACK IN ROOM NO TOILET PAPER HOLDER - HAD TO SIT ON BACK OF TOILET (HARD TO REACH) OR TINY SINK COUNTER NO ICE AVAILABLE - WAS TOLD A 7/11 STORE WITHIN A COUPLE MINUTE WALK - MORE LIKE 10 AND A LIQUOR STORE RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET HAD ICE SO THEIR KNOWLEDGE OF SURROUNDING AREA NOT VERY GOOD NO NO SHEER CURTAINS FOR LIGHT AND PRIVACY - ONLY BLACK OUT CURTAIN STINGY WITH TOWELS ONLY ONE WASHCLOTH AND ONE HANDTOWEL FOR 2 PEOPLE

Just right!

The location could of been a little closer to downtown. Was super clean and really great guy at the front desk at night. The one in the morning looked like he just rolled out of bed. Room was smaller than I expected but still big enough would of been nice to even just have a chair of some sort or a bar stool by the shelf under tv. All in all 10/10

Excellent location! Safe neighborhood, dog friendly, good price, my second time staying at this property it’s now my go to hotel of choice!

I stayed on the ground floor my second visit, the noise level was a bit loud but to be expected staying at ground level. Price was higher to book a Saturday which is also to be expected and I was charged a 10$ a day parking fee my first visit I did not have to pay for parking I’m not sure what the deal was with that.

Good to stay, not that big hotel but not that bad at least you can stay safe and have a good service from the staff.

I like the property because it’s so quiet for you to stay more comfortable and close to everything like restaurant, beach and more..

The room is quite small but i expected for 2 stars hotel so no complained about this..

Rooms had roaches, bathtub and sink clogged, no extra secure lock. Bed sheets stains,rooms very small 9x10 ft rooms ,no chair or desk to use laptop, no iron

Hard beds and close to noisy intersection.

We liked the location as it was close to our activities.

They tried to cancel our booking about a week before our arrival. They told us the hotel was overbooked but the multiple websites were still taking reservations for Hotel Aqua Mar. I had to call multiple people to resolve this issue.

Bad experience look at the actual pictures and what the website says nothing alike

Place smelled really bad it was dirty I’m pregnant and threw up the 1 hour I was there didn’t last all night checked out within a hour man at front desk wasn’t even pleasant didn’t care when I told him they room smelled and all your pictures in the website are not what your rooms actually look like so sad even the front desk pictures are fake! All the man at the front said was you not getting your money back like really!

No Breakfast. Value was A1, this is a nice, quite and safe motel. Workers and Staff were curious and knowledgeable. Will definitely stay here in Future.

There were hairs on the pillows, sheets and the shower. I utilized my own bedding. The room was as big as my bathroom back home. But the hairs everywhere was unexceptional.

my stay was disappointing

it was ok

the tv didn’t not work we were charge 100 dollars and never received the funds back which is upsetting we tried several times to get the tv to work after explaining to the front desk person we did not have all of the deposit he insisted to be able to stay we had to have it so we borrowed money for the deposit mind you we have stayed there before and the deposit has been waived not understanding why it could be waive this time and he has not returned it to us I want the deposit

when I arrived the clerk took ' less than 5 mins to check me in , there were few cars , in the morning we headed out
