Marvelous

Starting with the staff who were extremely friendly , polite and professional , the view from the tent is magnificent , the beach is never-ending and the food is excellent . They have a playground , beach activities and free access to the Mangrove sanctuary . The best place to make wonderful memories !!

Nice & Lovely resting place

The hospitality of the hotel was friendly. When we reached the car park, the hotel staff was immediately interested in us, and they assisted in carrying the luggage to the boat. After a short and nice boat trip, the other hotel staff welcomed us and helped us till we reached the tent by golf cart, and they immediately finalized the registration process. The room was large and comfortable enough. The complimentary nuts and dry fruits and a complimentary enough quantity of "large glass bottle of water" aside from coffee were satisfying enough for the complimentary feeling. Enough quantity and type of furnish was useful enough to rest and to fulfil the requirement in. Also, it seems like a huge textile tent, but the layers of the roof are waterproof. Therefore, the complex is suitable for lodging all year. The bathroom includes a shower unit, bathtub, two lavatories and a closet section. They all sit in the same room with separators; however, they do not make us feel rushed. They were placed very correctly. Dental kits, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner were there properly. The privacy of the unit is arranged very correctly, and the privacy precautions by the bamboo boundary walls never block the lovely sea scenery. The private pool was nice enough to spend time in, but the water was hot because of the weather. On the other hand, it was clean and looked well-maintained. Sunbeds and garden furnishings were functional and useful enough. We preferred to eat dinner in the hotel's restaurant. We selected seafood, and it was fresh and delicious enough. We could not use the spa because of timing. However, general enlargement works are ongoing without any disturbance and without unsettling the customers in the hotel complex. Furthermore, the capacity will be increased, and it will be so lovely, as we observed.

While showering, water mostly leaks to the bathroom floor instead of draining to the shower drainage. It's a little bit annoying situation. I am very sure that the hotel administration will fix it immediately.

Peaceful and quiet place providing a restful stay.

Close access to the beach with nice views of the sea, saw some green turtles near the bridge!

Suggest; Written information in the room about the history of the area, including the desert, mountains and sea. Background information about the nearby mangroves, the bird sanctuary and aquarium would be helpful.

Unique stay in the UAE

We were skeptical prior to arrival as the communication up until the day of check-in had put us off quite a bit. However that was quickly turned around by the exceptional service and gorgeous accommodation. Kingfisher is exclusive to 20 private luxury tents which is unlike anything we have experienced in the UAE. We loved the privacy, breakfast, personnel, room service, coffee machine and the private pool. Also, best shower I've ever had. We would definitely stay here again!

Email, phone and whatsapp communication needs to improve as this is the first impression and we did not have a good experience. Beaches need to be cleaned more often as there is quite a bit of rubbish that washes up. For a 5 start retreat, the food options of the set menu need to improve in order to be competitive.

Unforgettable experience, amazing privacy

I liked the privacy of the tent/pool, you don't hear or see anyone except some deers in the morning if you're lucky. I really liked the complimentary dried fruits in the room, this added a different touch to the service. The staff was very helpful and attentive, especially Maher, he was amazing.

The only tiny thing I had a tiny problem with is the workers starting their work at very early hour, I understand trying to beat the heat and to be honest it didn't bother us a lot but still the hammering disturbed the peacefulness of this amazing retreat at sunrise.

I like it

I like the whole experience we felt like in a Safari but it can be better

The resort needs constant maintenance, we saw remnants of a building like old doors, the trees need more care, and the room outside area needs to be checked. I think the project needs more professional staff and more expenses

The pool is broken from inside and there’s small pieces can hurt you + the pool isn’t private 100% even the staff can look through the wood … I wrote a special request and they didn’t do anything about it… the Service is poor

My 2 day break at the Retreat was an amazing experience

The location of the retreat was good... closer to the mountains and the Indian Ocean view was killer. Apart from the summer heat - this is an ideal location with family or friends outing. (its sad their is no alcoholic beverages available due to restrictions which we can understand) The tents are very beautiful. Try to get the sea view for best experience. The hotel has a lot of activities that you should definetly sign up for - some which you may not enjoy in peak summer. Highly recommend the self barbecue experence in the villa. If you are with family and friends you will love and appreciate this. Special call out to Eslam who guided us before stay and also through the retreat experience. Even though the weather was very hot and he had to be out assisting the guests he never hesitated to throw that smile thru the journey. Also a call out to Ahmed from the restaurant who remebered my tailored break fast order every time i walked in the restro. I didnt have to repeat! Always choose the boat experience to go to the island - though its only 3 mins ride but its an experience. I really like the check in and check out process. Its all directly done in the room (villa/tent) instead of waiting in reception.

The car parking could have had a covered area instead of an open area. The pools in the tent arent temperature controlled but the hotel should offer some ice slabs to cool it down a bit given the extreme weather. Its better if the tents had door bells becuase its impossible to gage when someone is at the door.

Great place, can offer some in terms of entertainment.

Ther service by every member was exceptional. We dined at the restaurant for dinner & breakfast and both experiences & food were amazing. The property is peaceful.

i understand that the wintertime is more popular, but for the guests in the summer, I wish there was some recreational activities indoor. Also, i was told there was music at night in the winters, why not summers as well?
