Estamos a sólo 45 minutos de Acadia / Bar Harbor, a una hora del Parque Estatal Baxter y dos horas de Moosehead y Portland, Estamos a sólo 15 minutos de Bangor / Brewer.
Nuestra cabina tiene un diseño muy abierto con una cocina totalmente equipada. Dispone de 1 dormitorio grande con una cama de matrimonio y un gran 10 'x 10' walk-in closet con lavadora y secadora. Arriba hay un altillo abierto que tiene 2 camas individuales. Hay un gran cuarto de baño luminoso con un tamaño completo ducha / bañera.
También tenemos 2, 12 x 12 cabinas a poca distancia de la cabina principal. Cada cabaña para cuatro personas y cuenta con un bonito porche para sentarse y relajarse. Hay un sofá cama y una cama litera. También hay una estufa de leña en el salón, Hay una ducha al aire libre.
Estamos a pocos pasos de piedra Establos de pared. Así, mientras que su marido está fuera por una tarde llena de pesca, puede estar rodeado por la dulce compañera de caballos. También contamos con millas de senderos para caminatas o andar en bicicleta. Hay un campo de golf a través del lago!

Aug 2020We loved the property and Kelly is a great host! Just the perfect place to be. Close to Acadia as well there is great hiking minutes from the house. Return from any adventure and relax in Parks Pond or paddle all across the lake. We will be back soon! Leer más

Aug 2020We had a wonderfully, relaxing serene week at the beautiful little Maine cabin in the woods. We were able to hike, swim, kayak, enjoy nightly campfires and even a day of golf. It was accompanied by a perfect week of temperatures in the high 80's. The cabin was clean and decorated like a true Maine cabin. We additionally enjoyed feeding the pigs & chickens and visiting the the horses with our granddaughter. It was memorable vacation not far from home and hoping to return again soon. Leer más

Oct 2021We enjoyed sitting under the trees and sky after a day of hiking in Acadia. A bit of a drive but it gave us a chance to see this part of Maine. The home is simple and clean. The lack of Wi-Fi caused a small problem when my husband needed it and the tv has only a couple channels. That was ok. I would agree with the previous review regarding the furnishings. The kitchen is really nice but the living room sofa and chairs are not comfortable and old. The master bed was good. Would I stay there again. Aug 2021This was a great property with incredible waterfront views. We enjoyed swimming, boating, fishing, campfires, hiking, and great food. The cabin was great for our party of five. We had everything we needed. The water was warm and clear. We even got a visit from the resident bald eagle a few different times! Feeding the pigs each morning was a treat for the kids. The nearby horses were so sweet too. We would definitely return to this camp. It’s such a nice place to spend a week. Leer más

Jul 2022This property is simply lovely. The cabin is exactly as described with comfortable beds, a fully equipped kitchen and a washer/dryer. It’s located 50 feet from a pristine lake with crystal clear water. The cabin has a canoe, fishing poles and a fire pit. My 21-year-old son joined us and stayed in the rustic bunk houses. The cabin is conveniently located near Bar Harbor, Acadia National Park and puffin cruises. Kelly and Frank, the owners, we very responsive. We had an amazing vacation. Leer más

Jul 2020This lovely setting on Parks Pond in Clifton offers a beautiful view of the bluffs, easy access to the lake for kayaking, and a well built rustic cabin nestled among trees and as a bonus, a farm! We were in our kayaks every day, every night, and loved every minute. It’s wonderful to awaken to the farm sounds and feed the pigs and chickens our food scraps. Such a beautiful spot. May 2019The scene from the cabin was beautiful. The bed was extremely comfortable. The layout of the house was nice. The place was obviously not checked thoroughly for cleanliness. It was aadvertised to have a fireplace. No fireplace. The stove was extremely grimy with grease on top gas burners. My husband told management, but he offered no comment. I ended up cleaning it as good as possible with wash rag and dishwashing liquid. The inside cup of washing machine had not been cleaned in many months. It was drizzling rain when we arrived, but porch had not been swept or cleaned. I did sweep it off before I left. I tried to leave the house in much better shape than I found it. It really is a beautiful place, and has so much potential.. They just need to capitalize on the beauty of the place by taking extra care to spruce it up. Make the first view of the house stunning by sweeping and mopping the porch and wiping down the outside wall. Inspect rental to make sure it is thoroughly clean. Elbow grease and an eye for detail would make this place worthy of a higher priced rental. I have to say that Kelly was very nice and she responded to our calls in a timely fashion. Leer más

May 2022The cabin exceeded our expectations. It was very clean and in a private, easily accessible location…and the price was a steal! The kitchen was stocked with all supplies we needed to cook and there was plenty of firewood. The view was just beautiful. Kelly and Frank were the most hospitable hosts. Sep 2020The Cabin by Parks Pond was just as the pictures showed. There’s a kitchen, living room, bathroom and bedroom on the first floor and a sleeping loft above with a couple of twin beds. The yard was park like with trees and a pretty stone path to a nice sitting area with a bonfire pit at water’s edge. We spent the days by the pond using the onsite canoe, kayaks we had brought along, and a paddle board we rented ½ hour away in Bangor. Nights were under a beautiful starlit sky with a bonfire going. We also rented the two bunk houses for our adult children which are very basic, like camping in a wooden tent. Bring your lanterns – and don’t open the door in the middle of the night because you might find the local wildlife right outside the door! As others have said, cell service was spotty (AT&T). Due to the weather, we lost power for a bit one afternoon. Kelly and Frank had a generator setup so we had power back in no time. We took a couple of day trips to Acadia which is about 45 minutes away and well worth the drive. We will be back and hope to make this a regular annual Maine vacation trip. Eileen, Phil and Family

Jul 2019Such a great cabin on a really nice lot. The cabin's high ceiling makes it feel spacious, the loft was perfect for our daughter as well as when her cousin did a sleepover a couple of nights. The cabin sits off the lake about 30 yards, which creates such a nice play area when not swimming. Located on a cove part of the lake so boat traffic was obsolete, perfect for swimming, floating, and teaching my 6yr old how to canoe. Not a busy lake anyway and we were there for the fourth. Maybe 90 minutes to Acadia/BarHarbor and 25 minutes to Bangor/15min to Brewer. Normally on our annual visits to Maine, we're running here and there, but this year we stayed put more and enjoyed the lake, my sunburn is proof! The opposite side of the lake is bluff/hill which you can climb, and the top provides a gorgeous view of the lake and surrounding area.
FYI - Cell service for Verizon is an issue, not the owner's fault, but that turned out to be a blessing- a real vacation from work! Leer más

Sep 2021Overall, we enjoyed our stay in this property. The property is beautiful just like the pictures show. We loved being surrounded by nature; between the beautiful yard, the lake, the nice mountain view and the farm animals next door, this was exactly the vacation we needed to unwind before starting a hectic schedule. The only 2 drawbacks were that the living room seating was super uncomfortable and that the owners never checked in on us to see if we needed anything, especially since they are down the road. Just a simple little text would of been nice. With that said though, we would stay here again and certainly do recommend it to anyone looking to unwind and enjoy nature. Leer más

Oct 2021Nice quiet cabin right outside Bangor. Terrific views of Parks Pond bluff. We used this location as our hub to explore Maine in all directions. Bed was comfortable. Bath was clean and well maintained. Sofa in front room was old and uncomfortable so we didn't use it. The owner was very friendly and helpful. All in all an 8/10 experience. Highly recommend. Oct 2020My husband and I needed to get a break from the monotony of quarantine, so we booked 5 days at this lovely cabin. It turns out that the pictures don't do it justice. The cabin is an adorable A frame, and it sits on a lake. The firepit was right by the water, and our evenings were spent making s'mores and gazing at the stars. There are horses and chickens next to the cabin also, and the woods surrounding the cabin were perfect for short, leaf-filled walks. The cabin was very clean, and the kitchen had plenty of dishes and cookware, plus there is a gas grill. A well-stocked grocery store is a couple of miles away, so it was easy to prepare meals. Oct 2021Had a fantastic stay - the cabin was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. The property was tucked away on the lakefront which offered some beautiful scenic views, even woke up to a bunch of wild turkeys cruising the yard one morning. We enjoyed local hiking, used the canoe that’s available, and also made the trip to Acadia for two days. We loved this place, the owner Kelly was great, and we can’t wait to return! Leer más

Sep 2021As we pulled up the dirt driveway, we instantly fell in love with the place. Hosts, Kelly and Frank, go above and beyond to make your stay as pleasant can be.
The very clean cabin is spacious, but still has a cozy, welcoming feeling. Being a minimalist, I especially liked how the hosts chose to not overly decorate and used a sleek, clean, trendy/cabin-ish style, on a background of warm colored walls. The kitchen is fully stocked--even down to a nutcracker. The beds were comfortable and the linens, fresh and clean. There's even heat in case you get chilly.
Outside the cabin, you have an added bonus of the Hosts' beautiful stables and their livestock. The irresistible crew will always run up to greet you, so expect to stop for a chat, and be sure brush up on what foods you can/can't feed them.
Now here's my favorite part of my stay. The view! It doesn't matter where you stand on the property, the view of Parks Pond and the bluff are amazing. I highly recommend taking a quick drive to the trailhead and hiking the bluff. You will not be disappointed with the view. You may even see some bald eagles and rock climbers.
Throw in lots of hiking at Acadia during the day, and nights by the fire under a sky bursting with stars, and you have found the perfect vacation just like I did.

Aug 2019A real chance to get away from the hustle and bustle of life. We had a great time as a family fishing, swimming, paddle boarding, and hiking. The kids loved feeding the chickens and pigs from the driveway everyday. The view of the bluff is amazing.
Kelly and Frank are wonderful hosts. The cabin had plenty of space for our family of 5 and Golden Retriever. The kitchen is equipped with all you need (including some spices/coffee filters). Grocery stores are either 20 or 30 min away. There is a gas grill and fantastic fire pit.
My husband fished everyday on spinning/fly gear and caught small mouth bass, pickerel, sunfish, and perch.
Bring bug spray as the mosquitos/horeseflies are relentless. This has been a bad year for them everywhere though! Not unique to this spot. They do have tiki torches/candles there.
We had a great stay and would highly recommend this cabin.
