Chiton Drift es la escapada perfecta a la playa para familias y amigos. Es una casa nueva y espaciosa (2015), equipada con todo lo que necesitas.
Esta casa de vacaciones muy cómoda es un gran lugar para tomar un breve descanso o pasar unas vacaciones relajantes en la costa sur. Está bellamente decorado en un estilo informal y de buen gusto. Una selección de obras de arte originales en la playa agrega un ambiente acogedor. Es perfecto para relajarse, recargar y rejuvenecer.
La playa de Chiton está a solo 250 metros o 3 minutos a pie. Es una playa fantástica que se extiende entre Victor Harbor y Port Elliot.
Está a solo 25 minutos a pie por la playa a Port Elliot o a 3 minutos en coche (si tiene prisa por llegar a la panadería de Port Elliot). Puede pedir prestadas nuestras bicicletas y montar en el Encounter Bikeway y estar en Port Elliot en 15 minutos (bicicletas BYO si lo desea). El Encounter Bikeway va desde Bluff en Victor Harbor hasta Goolwa. Corre a lo largo de la calle detrás de Chiton Drift y es una excelente manera de explorar el área.

LA CASA
Chiton Drift tiene dos espaciosas salas de estar de planta abierta, una arriba y otra abajo.
Tiene una gran terraza con vistas ininterrumpidas con vistas a los rangos. La terraza tiene una mesa de comedor y sillas ocasionales y es un lugar maravilloso para desayunar, tomar un café con papel o tomar una copa antes de una cena de barbacoa.
La cocina, el comedor y las salas de estar principales están arriba para aprovechar al máximo las maravillosas vistas. La cocina es moderna y está bien equipada con lavavajillas y despensa.
Hay 4 dormitorios con capacidad para hasta 9 personas: dormitorio principal arriba, 3 dormitorios abajo. Las habitaciones están configuradas de la siguiente manera:
Dormitorio 1 - Cama Queen
Dormitorio 2 - Cama Queen
Dormitorio 3 - Dos camas individuales
Dormitorio 4 - Cama doble inferior, cama individual en la parte superior
Chiton Drift tiene 3 baños modernos, dos con duchas y uno con bañera también. Además, hay una divertida ducha al aire libre con agua fría y caliente. Genial después de un día en la playa.
INCLUIDO
Se incluyen edredones, fundas de edredones, almohadas y colchones con protectores. Los huéspedes deben proporcionar su propia ropa de cama (sábanas, toallas, alfombras de baño, toallas de mano, paños de cocina).
Si no desea traer ropa de cama, podemos hacer arreglos para que le entreguen ropa de cama fresca y la recojan después. Hay un pequeño costo adicional.
Hay un sistema de aire acondicionado de sistema dividido (calefacción / refrigeración) en las dos salas de estar y un ventilador de techo en el dormitorio principal.
Hay dos televisores grandes de pantalla plana, uno en cada una de las salas de estar, además de juegos, libros y revistas. El sistema de sonido de arriba se conecta a su dispositivo a través de Bluetooth.
Hay una mesa de billar de pizarra en la sala de estar de abajo.
El patio trasero completamente cercado y seguro es ideal para los niños y los perros.
Hay 3 bicicletas más cascos que los huéspedes pueden usar.
LA LOCACIÓN
Chiton Drift está a poco más de una hora de Adelaida y se encuentra entre las populares ciudades turísticas de Victor Harbor y Port Elliot. Está más cerca de Port Elliot, con fácil acceso a cafeterías, la famosa panadería, pubs, restaurantes, supermercados y algunas boutiques, galerías y tiendas fascinantes y eclécticas.

Nov 2016We just enjoyed a lovely weekend at Chiton Drift. The holiday house is very well appointed, close to the beach and Bikeway and has plenty of space to spread out and relax. We appreciated the late departure time (no tenants coming in straight after us) which meant a relaxing Sunday. Our dog enjoyed the backyard.

Dec 2019This year we decided to go away for Christmas to relax down on the south coast. Wow, did we make the right decision. We were lucky to strike perfect weather for the entirety of our beach holiday. Just like the weather, accommodation choices can be hit or miss. Chiton Drift was a big hit indeed for our 8 night getaway for our family of five! Mark the property manager set the scene for our festive break by setting up some nice Christmas decorations around the home. When we weren't at the beach, we lazed around in the upper floor living area, playing board games or reading on the beautiful deck, or watching cricket or DVDs in the evening on the big screen TV. We utilised the BBQ on the deck for many of our evening meals, while the well-equipped kitchen was close by with a lovely large fridge for a big eating and drinking family! A nice surprise was the massive pantry which meant that we could do a heap of grocery shopping and actually put it away somewhere convenient! The upstairs master suite was spacious and had a lovely ensuite bathroom with very nice shower. The 3 comfortable bedrooms downstairs meant that there was plenty of room for the whole family, with the second full bathroom located on this level. All the family reported their beds to be very comfy, and there was an abundance of good quality blankets to ensure that we slept well. (You would definitely need these if you holiday down on the south coast during the colder months). The small backyard was set-up well to allow us to shower outside and hose ourselves off after a day at the beach before coming back inside via the laundry. Downstairs also has a 1/4 size pool table which we didn't get to use much because we just chose to enjoy our time in other ways. Some other minor positives worth noting... (1) all five of us had warm showers one after another and didn't run out of hot water (2) the dishwasher does a great job (3) there is a small supply of pantry staples to help with the basics in the kitchen. All-in-all, I think that Chiton Drift represents great value for money for well above average holiday accommodation. And less than 5 minutes leisurely walk to the beach, with the great local cafe overlooking the magnificent southern ocean! Oh, and I nearly forgot to mention that our dog absolutely loved his holiday as much as we did. Thanks again Mark for having us as guests in your beautiful holiday home! Leer más

Oct 2020Loved this property! So close to the beach which meant morning walks with the kids and Fred the Springer Spaniel were easy. The outdoor shower was excellent for getting rid of all the sand that the kids and the dog brought home with them. The pool table was a bonus for night time entertainment, and the view of the hills was just so lovely. We had a great stay, and the communication from Mark was excellent. Dec 2020Loved the location and short walking distance to the beach. The bikes were a bonus to cruise along the bike trail. The open plan living and balcony were great for our group. A bonus that we could bring our dog. The outdoor shower was so handy to wash off the sand. The kitchen was stocked well with appliances and cookware. Could have done with some more bin liners, spray n’ wipe and bug spray. Only negative was the mattress in the upstairs main bedroom was very hard. Other than that I would recommend to anyone.
