Staff are friendly. There is a nice terrace and it’s very convenient for the motorway.

Air conditioning did not work & the bar prices are very high but I think that’s more a tax issue.

Clean and tidy and not over crowded

Had an excellent nights sleep followed by a great breakfast with a wide section of bread pastries, yogurts and meats. Great to have the option of a boiled egg. Nice to have a bar with good beer in teh evening.

The meal options in the evening were limited but I guess this was because it was between Christmas and New Year but still .....

There was a kettle in the room

Very over priced, noisey, room service didn't turn up after calling to confirm as restaurant was closed, pillows were awful, bed not comfortable, room very small, very dated, poor lightning. We have been travelling in France and Spain and this is by far the worst hotel we have stayed in and it was the most expensive! Will not recommend or visit again.

Campanile's meanness - not about hospitality. More about providing as little as possible for the guest - cost cutting. e.g. paper cups in the rooms, 1 black tea bag and one green tea bag, so we had to share one bag and could only have one cup of tea. Maybe Campanile is afraid of theft? If so a distrustful attitude is not hospitable. No tissues. No biscuits. Some years ago there used to be a little parcel of biscuits to have with the tea. No face washer or hand towels. The coffee and hot water machine broke down at breakfast. There was no milk and it took a long time to get some. The staff tried very hard to be welcoming but company policy makes it difficult.

Rooms small but clean and bed comfortable. Upper rooms felt more private although accessible by stairway. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Evening meal wholesome - breakfast OK again wholesome if not gourmet!

Difficult to find! Will look out next time for their sign posts... Rooms face west which in summer are very sunny and need the use of wind down blind.

There was smell of drains on occassion from the shower room. The first morning, the breakfast service was dissapointing, so we cancelled breakfast for the second morning. However,the evening meals were very good.
