We had a wonderful time! The condo was lovely and the perfect size. It was very clean and well maintained. The back porch backs up right onto the golf course, which was awesome, and the beach is a 3 minute walk away! The only thing I will say (and this has nothing to do with the property itself, just information for fellow travelers), is that *a lot* of the things to do on Kiawah require you to have actually booked a place to stay through the Kiawah Island Golf Resort. This includes the pools, the camp for kids, the golf courses, and the ability to make reservations at the Golf Course restaurants (which are the best and more GORGEOUS restaurant locations). We had a great time at the beach (who needs a pool really), we are non-golfers, and we were able to get tables at the golf course restaurants without reservations (though sometimes we had to wait a bit!). I would 100% recommend this property and this property owner, but if you have the financial resources and want to take full advantage of everything Kiawah Island has to offer, I recommend booking something at The Sanctuary through Kiawah Island Golf Resort. This property was nicely located close to the beach and along a golf course. The view was nice from the back deck and the walk/bike ride to the beach were quick and easy. Kiawah beaches are amazing. This property had everything we needed and was comfortable and clean. We will be back.

Great property with everything we needed in the villa. We appreciated the beach chairs. We were not able to get the A/C to go below 70 even when we set it to go below that temperature at night and the bedrooms were a little warm for sleeping. This could be due to A/C ducting. Perhaps that is by design. The beds were extremely firm and not as comfortable as ours at home. We did not have any issues and everything worked great.

The condo was perfect for the weekend. We were there for a wedding and the location made it easy to navigate from venue to venue. Lovely view of the golf course, and a short walk to the gorgeous beachfront. All was immaculate and everything needed was provided, even beach chairs.... Would definitely stay there again. A plus.

We came to Kiawah Island for a wedding for 2 nights and this beautiful apartment was perfect for myself and my 15-year old son and my friend, her husband and their 15-year old daughter. The owner kindly allowed me to sleep on the sofa and there were extra blankets and a pillow. The apartment was perfect for us. 2 modern bathrooms and a modern kitchen, 2 spacious rooms (one with a king-size bed, the other with 2 twin size beds) and living room with dining space, and a washer and dryer. The terrace (with roof and table and chairs) looks out on the bike path and golf lawns and sitting on the terrace, we enjoyed looking a the trees and listening to the birds. A 5-minute walk took us to the very beautiful beach where we took several long walks. I highly recommend this property.

Suggest better quality linens for Bath and kitchen. Also some documentation on what is provided and what you may need to bring yourself such as beach chairs we brought ourselves unnecessarily also. We brought laundry detergent unnecessarily. Otherwise, we were very happy with the accommodations and the fact that you put high quality appliances and furniture in your updating process

Very nice and quiet place came down for a golf tournament on Friday stayed the weekend with my family did rain most of the time, but still got out on the beach found some sand dollars. Definitely gonna come back when we can stay longer and it’s a little bit warmer and drier.

We had a good long weekend stay. Condo was great, had everything we needed. Our friends would have liked a portable fan in their bedroom, and I would have liked a larger Mr. Coffee. Due to weather conditions, we spent a lot of our time in the car exploring the area. The condo had helpful info on the area.The beach was nice, but the focus of the island was golf.

As always, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Kiawah. The villa was exceptionally clean and appeared to be recently renovated. The well equipped Kitchen contained everything we needed to prepare our meals. We enjoyed sitting on the patio watching golfers, riding bikes and walks on the beach. We would definitely stay in this villa again.

Many time VRBO users, 2nd trip to Kiawah, this time in late December during the Christmas winter storm and Southwest airline meltdown. Very clean, very modern and well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and plenty of hot water and good shower heads. Short drive to Freshfields village one direction and to the Sanctuary the other direction. Backs onto a golf course and a bike path that literally puts you on the beach in 7-8 minutes of walking. Owner very responsive - we learned late in the evening our Southwest flight the next day and for several subsequent days was cancelled;. texted the owner and in 10 minutes had booked the unit for 2 more days at the daily rate. Windows and insulation not up to northern standards and we had unexpected temps as low as 22 degrees, but good heating unit mostly compensated. Overall very enjoyable stay during unseasonal conditions and a good value. We will likely book the unit again. One recommendation - arrive day 1 during daylight if possible; even with owner's good directions the complex and unit are pitch black at night and are hard to find if the unit porch light illuminating the unit number are not turned on.

The place is very nice and the location is great. Overall the place was clean except for the shower curtain. There was a lot of black mold/mildew. I talked with Todd and he told me there was a new one in the laundry room. I feel like it should have been taken care of before we got there - he should not expect his guests to change it out - so we didn’t. We were there Thursday-Wednesday and there were only 2 dish washer packets. I asked him about that and he said we would have to buy some. I’ve stayed in many VRBO rentals and never had to provide cleaning items.

We were attending a wedding at The Sandcastle, right across the parking lot. Could not have been more convenient to the event, the beach as well as trails that connect all the way to Freshfields Village. Villa was very clean, well equipped and decor very pleasant. Would definitely recommend.
