The location was top notch!

We were unable to stay in the selected unit due to it not being ready on arrival. Another unit was available, so the host put us in that one. I’m not sure if it was a truly comparable unit but we were disappointed to see our reserved unit had not been cleaned upon our (later than anticipated) arrival.

The location was absolutely amazing, Thats pretty much where it stops being great.

There was not water line to the fridge, not drinking water and no ice. Internet would drop constantly, I'd have to reset the router every morning (after spending much time searching for it). No shampoo or soaps in the facility. Water pressure was crap, the hot water was lukewarm. Was not informed to where the extra towels were (had to share). Weren't told where extra trash bags or paper towels were. Water was leaking through the walls and ceiling. A kitchen chair just broke while playing cards with the family. No flat sheets under the comforter. No plug to bathtub (used a wash cloth) took over an hour to fill the tub (has a sink faucet on the tub). The roof top common area furniture was trash, couldn't sit or actually hang out up there.

Location was super close to the beach which was great and the rooftop was nice. Beds were super soft and overall not bad. Nice to have bunk beds and plenty of beds for people to sleep in.

To start, communication was extremely poor. Never got check-in information, had to call for the code once we arrived. Then had to call again for the wifi information. They did respond fairly quickly - but that should have been provided prior to arrival. Once we were in, the condo had a number of issues. Cleanliness: Confetti was leftover from the last group and found balloons under the bed, the kitchen table chairs were disgusting and dirty, there was a half eaten ice cream cake left in the freezer. No top sheets on any of the bed, duvets only which seemed very unsanitary. Wall AC/Heat was full of mold. Functionality: Incredibly poor: - Water temp/faucets: Kitchen sink faucet had limited range, couldn't adjust temperature well; Shower water never got hot, had to take lukewarm showers (the temperature dial was also backwards) - Towel: no place to hang used towels in either of bathrooms, in the upstairs bathroom, the rack for the unused towels is falling off the wall. No kitchen towels either. Claimed to have extra towels - only one per number of people the space advertises accommodating - The stairs were different heights and very narrow, unsafe to get up and down - certainly not up to code. Also stepped on a nail sticking up from the stairs 2x. - Half the windows didn't open and those that did, did not have screens. Also most did not lock. - Windows of the patio door in the master bedroom didn't have any privacy covering and door knob is falling off. The other rooms shades were for privacy only and did not make the room dark at night and certainly not in morning when the sun was coming out - Had to open some cupboards to get other cupboards to open - they did warn the parking was at your own risk, but unless you have a very small car, basically don't consider this place to have a parking space. Took 15 minutes to park a Rav4. - Just overall clearly a 'flipped' space with little thought for the end resident.

The location is amazing! The kitchen is very well appointed.

The building wasn't as secure as it should be. There were no closets in the bedrooms. The doors to the balconies wouldn't lock. The screen door was broken. We were notified about a scheduled power outage. I need a CPAP machine to breathe at night. We were given the opportunity to stay in a motel. This was a small room with two beds and no air conditioning. Much lower quality than the condo we'd payed for. We were very unhappy with this motel. It made the end of our trip very unpleasant.

Location was great. I thought it was right on the beach but it was one building away from the beach. Not what I expected but still nice.

There was no hot water. My car got towed even though I parked where there was over night parking. The garage they provided was not big enough for my ford expedition. Even thought they said they had individual parking. They sent me the wrong codes for the build and unit so we had to stand in the rain for 30 minutes wait for the right one.

Property manager & owner we’re very helpful and gracious. Location was superb if being “in the heart” of Mission Beach is important.

Parking! However an overnight lot isn’t far from the vrbo, well lit and safe.

Location was great, unit was good size, much of it modern updated (although some time ago) and stocked kitchen

I booked this for my husbands birthday celebration with his kids and grandkids. The pictures in the write up were very misleading. Showed the front of the building with really nice patios that overlook the drive and you can see the beach from there. This unit is on the back side of the building with no view, tiny patios overlooking the trash and the alley. No BBQ's as stated in write up or water feature, oven was disgustingly dirty (looks like someone cooked a messy meal in there some time ago and no cleaning!), door knob to patio broken, no towel rods, garage was too small for most vehicles, screen on patio door off dining area was off and leaning against the window. All in all the write up was totally misleading, photos were obviously taken quite some time ago and this was an overpriced stay for what we got. And the shower had a metal rack in it that was rusting into the floor of the shower. If you compare the pictures of the write up to what is there now you will see that they haven't kept up with maintenance of this unit. Communication from the property management company was on our way to the unit, I booked this 4 months out and had no way of knowing who to communicate with in advance.

The parking in the garage was a pain. Had issues with downstairs lights and the owner was out on vacation. Kind of made it a little frustrating when we first got there. They did get a hold of some other guy to come and help us. We did appreciate that.

Location was great in terms of beach access and places to eat. Hosts were great. Very helpful and friendly.

Would of liked a place for bikes to be stored on the ground level. Garage is extremely small. It was difficult to get our minivan backed in.

1-Door to patio on main floor had a broken handle and could not be locked. 2-Door on upper level to patio jammed and could not be locked. 3-Router for TV would not reset which resulted in no TV for our stay. 4-There was no hair conditioner stocked. 5-No wash cloths but found out on last day that the ottomans are full of extra towels and bedding. 6-The jetted tub did not get hot water and filled so slowly that it would have taken over an hour to fill it.

The price was great! Seriously a few skips to the beach, shopping, bellmout park and food. The views from the roof top are to dye for!

The iPad screen and side patio door knob was broken when we arrived. The couches have definitely seen better days. The condo itself was clean but the stairs going up to the condo and rooftop patio area were not clean. The garage was not well organized or clean. It's a tiny garage to being with and then to have things just thrown and stuffed against the back wall didn't help with the space issue. This condo also shares an ally way with all the food vendors right there and it gets stinky.
