Overall though, the bed was firm, everything we needed was provided, the view was UNDISCRIBABLE!

The security was wonderful, made us feel safe. The pools, the distance to the ocean-Wonderful! The grounds, landscaping meticulously groomed, food at pool bar-yummy!

The airconditioner in the bathroom over the sink had a terrible leak! The sink drain was in bad shape. TV remotes almost ALL needed new batteries! (there should be extra stored in a drawer) More washrags/handtowels and shower soap/shampoo/conditioner should be provide. No kleenex.

Everything was good condo is great!

The guy at the gate did not let us on the property up until 3:00pm exactly(My check in time). We arrived 20 mins early I guess.I don't know if it was a timed gate or what but I should be able to be at the reception desk at least by 3:00.and what bummed us out was that the pool/ bar was under construction. And it was really annoying with the noise all day. I mean I know it's their job. But would have been nice to know before hand.

A Must Stay

The view was amazing. The restaurant was fantastic! We loved being so close to the beach. The pools were also fun and enjoyable. The apartment itself was cozy and met our needs

The only thing was the sofa bed not being comfortable and noisy, but it didn't really effect our trip overall.

The condo has a million dollar view of the Sea of Cortez and the Sonoran Sea Resort pools and grounds fabulous!

Being a handicap person I was disappointed in the resorts abilities to get into the swimming pools and spa the step down was too much and I was unable to use the pools. If they had one more step upon entering the pool it would have been more sufficient for somebody with hip problems. Or they need a ramp for some guests. Maybe it doesn't matter to everybody but it does feel a little discriminating if you have some extra physical needs. However it seems like it's more of a miseducation than a deliberate judgment against such people so it is something that can be overlooked but a little disappointing for the guest.

We had a wonderful stay, our host stayed in touch to make sure we were happy, we were.

No breakfast is offered, but that is not a criteria we look for, there are great local places for breakfast. The apartment was well stocked with soaps and kitchenware, and the bed was awesome. Great view and beach access

We would bring our own towels, as the towels provided were not the best. But again, that is hardly a deal breaker.

The hotel is located on Sandy Beach which is beautiful--golden, wide, long, and clean. The views of the beach and Sea of Cortez are great. The hotel pools are excellent. The restaurant food was fine, but there are many other excellent options nearby and in town. The mattress in our unit was very comfortable. WiFi is excellent. Maintenance of the resort grounds and facilities was good. The resort is only a few miles (under 10 minutes) from the central part of Puerto Penasco. The balcony is relatively large and very usable. Parking is secure and free. The host is very communicative and response to needs. There are two very good pickleball courts with portable nets on site. Puerto Penasco has delicious, fresh seafood!

To be clear, none of these issues are major, but here they are: 1. The listing says that the unit has cable and satellite channels. It does not. Netflix and Amazon Prime streaming is provided. Your U.S. streaming accounts will not work here (due to licensing issues). 2. The front desk charges a $10 service charge when checking in. 3. The electrical outlet by the dining table does not work. This would be the most convenient outlet, but there are others that work fine. We had a great time, and will be happy to stay here again.

It was exactly what I needed, a relaxing place to chill and get my ocean therapy.

Loved the beach access, the views and use of the pool and beach, our host’s insight into restaurants and places to go, the secure parking, sunsets.
