This place was truly a gem! It was surprisingly peaceful and quiet for being close to a busy street. The apartment was spacious and clean and had everything needed for a month’s stay. Francoise was wonderfully attentive and prompt with whatever we requested or needed information on. The best thing aside from the location and quiet were the beautiful view of the Lisbon rooftops and the sunsets! Would definitely recommend this apartment and hope to stay here again!

Francoise and Jorge’s rental apartment was perfect for our five nights in Lisbon. It was a bit of a climb getting to it as there were several flights of stairs to be negotiated first however it was spotless and after a day climbing the hills of Lisbon did not present too much of a challenge. The bed was very comfortable and if we wanted to we would have been able to cook meals as there were more than enough utensils etc to do so. We generally had breakfast in the apartment and dinner at a restaurant. The apartment is located in an alley just off main streets and is close enough to walk down to the river where a lot of restaurants are located. We used Google Maps to get around for the first few days until we were able to find our way back each night. Francoise was very helpful in giving us advice on where to go. So no complaints here. Thank you Francoise and Jorge.

The property is in a great part of town, close to the fun but quiet and peaceful. The place is really beautifully designed, well laid out and kitted with everything you need. Beautiful views, a sunset drink spot very nearby. The hosts were charming and helpful. I really recommend this as a base in Lisbon.

Spent over a week and enjoyed the stay. The bed was comfortable and views were amazing. TV is the old so no firestick or USB plug in. Internet speed is good and consistent. Nice spot! Very nice lady!

Apartment in an authentic Lisbon neighbourhood with wonderful views. It was great to get a feel of life in Lisbon, so much better than a hotel! The apartment was clean and comfortable, and well set up. Our hosts were very welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed our visit very much.

Only blip was the VRBO communications had wifi and TV accesses wrong and should be remedied by the owner's. We lost an hour with each before contacting the owners for the proper password and TV access. If you have a problem with these contact right away and ignore VRBO instructions.

The apartment was breathtaking. Waking up to the view, even when it rained made me feel like I was in a fairytale. The apartment is close to everything from historical sites to the amazing nightlife. I felt as if I wasn't just on holiday but as if I'd moved into the neighborhood. A must stay if your visiting Lisboa.

We loved our stay in Lisbon! The apartment was in a great location and wonderful to return to after a day exploring the city. Communication was good, apartment clean, spacious and comfy. Pride of ownership showed throughout. Will stay again if we return to Lisbon.

Perfect for a couple. Spacious, well-appointed, and pristine. Françoise was exceptional: friendly, easy to contact, and very helpful (e.g. booked a taxi for us and recommended activities). For senior citizens it is important to know that the area is steeply hilly, and the apartment is a fourth- floor walk-up. The only potential drawback is the lack of a/c: in warmer weather you may have to choose between a toasty night’s sleep or windows open to light and noise. Our thanks to Françoise and Jorge!

Stayed in the apartment for a little under two weeks. Great area for being close to some of the best parts of Lisbon. The apartment was very well taken care of and has an amazing view of the city. Highly recommend!

This place has a cozy relaxing vibe. It has large floor to wall windows that open up to view the panorama of Lisbon over an open sky. Hold your breath on the dazzling starlight night sky. If you’re lucky you’ll get a peek of the full moon as well.

In the center of the city, this appartement is the best option to visit Lisboa. You will feel at home! Muito obrigada.

I spent 6 weeks in Europe and this was easily the best place I stayed. The apartment is even better than the photos suggest, in a location that is quiet and yet close to the hustle and bustle and the hosts are warm and lovely to deal with. I'd love to return to Lisbon just for the opportunity to stay here again!

The apartment was perfect for our week in Lisbon. The three flights of stairs weren’t bad at all especially once we saw the view. The building was really quite. The neighborhood streets are only accessible to residents cars and some taxis so other than people walking by there wasn’t much traffic. We would love to stay there again.
