Located in Emerald Isle, this lovely condo for $160 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Sound of the Sea is a well maintained gated community in Emerald Isle. Short walking distance to grocery store, shops, movies, restaurants, Putt-Putt, bicycle rentals, surfing rentals, bait stand, and more! Gorgeous sandy beach is never crowded. Head east on beach and walk one mile to Bogue Pier, head west and walk 3 miles to the beautiful "Point." Rents Saturday to Saturday. Second floor condo, 2BR, 1-1/2B. 2Q rooms. Linens, bath towels and beach towels provided. Fully equipped kichen, washer/dryer, 2 cable TV's, DVD player, stereo with CD player, wireless hi-speed internet access. Spiral staircase to 2nd floor BR's. 2 decks. Good ocean view. Available year round. No pets. No smoking.

Brought my grand daughter to see her sweet friend stationed at camp Lejunue, Decided to go last minute and found this gem. Booked at 8 pm night before leaving on trip and Paulaette answered promptly. Met us at the condo, with keys and helped us with luggage, offered us information on the area. The location was perfect for riding our E Bikes. The condo is located right at the greenway. We rode 26 miles each day, great green way is about 12 miles each way and a lovely ride. Loved the Captain Kitchen food truck/ shrimp burger fantastic. The beach is close and can hear the waves and sneak a glimpse from the balcony. The condo beds were very comfy, good mattress and kitchen well stocked. Really cute kitchen dishes and deco effects. Very clean and well stocked with anything you would need. Hard to find anything to improve other than us being old, chubby and tired from riding our bikes and then tackling the stairs/ LOL just made our work out better. Thanks Paulette for sharing your home

We enjoyed a very nice visit to Beaufort on Sat morning for their Artisan market and then went by ferry to Shackleford Island to collect shells and see the wild horses. We would have liked to stay at least a day longer. We hope to be back soon for another visit to Emerald Isle.

The condo was very nice with all the amenities for a quiet young family stay. Very convenient to stores, etc. Didn’t know there were circular steps in condo to all bedrooms and 2 flights of stairs to get to condo which was a little difficult with older guests with bad knees and back. Unfortunately we had to leave 4 days early due to health issues so couldn’t enjoy our whole week.

I took my daughters on their spring break in mid-April. We had a great time and the place was as advertised. Paulette was very thorough on the process of checking-in and out. This place felt like home from the start. I would highly recommend this location to all of my friends and family.

We needed to get away for a couple of days to get outta the rut we've been in. This worked out well for us. The only issue I had was no elevator. My 66 year old knees were barking on just about every trip up the stairs. But small problem in the overall picture. Amenities inside were fine. Needs 1 more medium sized pot. Plenty of small and big. Everything else well stocked. Best thing I could say is that we would go back to the same place.

We were visiting a friend in Swansboro and this location was perfect! Paulette and Dan were amazing hosts. They were at the property to greet us upon arrival and even helped carry our bags! The access the beach was perfect and we had an amazing stay. We will definitely be back again!

What a wonderful vacation! Couldn’t have been any happier. The property was located in the center of everything. Restaurants, shopping and activities all within walking distance. If you have a bike you’ll be in heaven bike trails are the best. So much to do. Upon arriving were greeted by our hosts which practically moved us in. They made us feel right at home.The condo was so nice and clean beautiful decorated in a beach theme. It was stocked with everything we needed for your stay . We had a nice view of the beach and pool from our balconies. Couldn’t believe how close we were to them both. I just want to say how clean and well kept everything was from the grounds the pool and the beautiful beach . We spent many hours walking the beach swimming in the pool and riding our bikes during our stay. Luckily we couldn’t have ask for better weather. I have to mention the beautiful sunrises so many great photos. I would have to rate my experience a 10 out of 10 . I will definitely be back. Thanks for a wonderful vacation!!

What a wonderful place! Emerald Isle is such a beautiful area was so much to do. Paulette made our stay so enjoyable. She had some excellent suggestions which we were able to do while we were down. She actually felt like family to us. We cannot wait to come back next year!

We had a great small family vacation here with our two young daughters. It was an easy walk to the beach, there was a shed to keep pool and beach toys, and the house was just like the pictures showed. Only the big pool was open, which was more than enough, although there is absolutely no shade at the pool during the day! Paulette was super easy and nice to work with, clearly is passionate about hosting. Great time in EI!

Great stay the last week of June
The property was close to everything - beach, Food Lion, putt-putt, ice cream. We had an very relaxing vacation and it start with Paulette and Dan greeting us at the townhouse, giving us the lay-out, and they even helped us unload our vehicle. Our experience with them and their beach townhouse was awesome.

The kitchen is well equipped. Everything was in good working order. Beautiful view of the ocean from the living area and master bedroom decks. The place was very clean and well kept and the owners were very responsive and nice. It was also well stocked with things you need if you want to cook. There were paper towels, toilet paper, laundry detergent etc. all the things you need so you don’t have to go to the store when you arrive. We really liked the place. It would be tough if you have any mobility issues, 30 steps .
