Eixample Dreta is a scenic area to explore; with a leisurely stroll to Passeig de Gracia or into the trendy El Borne barrio. In just a short stroll through these beautiful streets you will arrive right at the centre, the fashionable Passeig de Gracia, Ramblas boulevard, Plaza Catalunya and all of Barcelona's popular attractions. Nearby metro station: Tetuan (L2, purple line), Monumental (L2, purple line), Girona (L4, yellow line). The Estació Nord bus station is located in this district and an abundance of public transports offer fast connections to Las Ramblas, El Gótico or the city beaches, in about 10 minutes. LIVING AREA - In the lounge there is 1 sofa, chairs, lamp, side tables, audiovisual unit. Its dining suite has a table with seating for 5. BED AND BATHROOM - The master bedroom has 1 designer queen size bed, night-tables, lamps and closet space. A second bedroom has 2 single beds, a chest of drawers and lots of natural light. Our stay in the apartment near Passeig de Gracia was not as central as we thought it would be to fun places to visit in Barcelona. It was affordable and convenient to Tetuan station and with the T casual pass we could get to within 15 min walking to most sights after a short metro ride. There are a few low cost things that could be done to improve the quality of the apartment. Newer, higher quality towels, bedding and a mattress pad would be nice. Higher quality silverware, toaster, coffee maker and other kitchen items would also make it a higher quality place. A minor repair to the vanity in the bathroom by fixing the door and corroded handle. The building and location was not quite as nice as we thought from the pictures. Overall, however, it was an affordable place to stay.

The location is very conveniently located as it is walkable distance to La Sagrata Familia and to La Rambla. Lots of stores around to stock up on necessities if needed. The host is amazing very accommodating and welcoming. The place has everything you need and it is clean. We greatly enjoyed our stay!

Close to bus and metro. Lots of coffee spots close by. Found a terrific sushi place. We went there twice. Space in open area to do our exercises. Nice view of older buildings across the street.

Chelo is a FANTASTIC host. She’s so helpful from the moment we booked until we checked out of her unit. The apartment is in a great location and the neighborhood is quite safe. It was well equipped and just the right size for our group of four. The only downside is the walls are kind of thin and we could hear the neighbors watching TV well into the night. Despite that we really enjoyed our stay and would consider staying here again! If you are visiting Barcelona give this unit a look.

This is the perfect location to stay to walk to everything I wanted to see in the city. The only location that I wanted to see that was more than 1/2 hour walk was Montjuic. Lots of restaurants nearby. The apartment is very nice and comfortable too.

Went to see all the major Gaudi works (and secondary ones). The apartment was great for the price, a bit spartan, but a good location for our activities. A real urban neighborhood with a mix of bars and restaurants. (I highly recommend Tortuga for dinner and Syra for coffee, both exceptional). If you want style and chic look elsewhere and be prepared to pay far more, but with the money you save you can always have lunch on the Majestic Hotel roof deck with a million dollar view of the city.

Apartment was clean. Chelo was great laying out the area and different options; transit, shopping, grocery, etc. Very thorough and helpful once you get your bearings of the area.
We love to walk, which is our main transportation in any city, but proximity to transit from the apartment was great to go to the beach, shopping district (if you didn't feel like walking), to the port or other sights.

I stayed at this property with my wife and teenaged daughter. We had a wonderful month-long stay in Barcelona, thanks to these great accommodations and excellent service from Chelo.
The property is well situated, very clean and well appointed It's located in a safe neighborhood that is walking distance to most of the main sights. We had everything we needed for a few meals in and there are numerous restaurants, markets, coffee shops, etc., all within a couple blocks.
Chelo is an attentive host, always on-call to provide in-person service, and provided lots of useful information for our visit. She took great care to explain the neighborhood, site, transit stops, grocery and restaurants on the block!

The apartment was very clean, comfortable, and in a terrific location. The neighborhood has many terrific restaurants nearby and is easy to walk to various locations. Taking a taxi anymore was easy. The apartment was clean and comfortable. Chelo was always responsive and helpful in every way. The shower has a slow drain but we have experienced that in various stays and was manageable. The apartment was very clean, comfortable, and in a terrific location. The neighborhood has many terrific restaurants nearby and is easy to walk to various locations. Taking a taxi anymore was easy. Everything in this apartment was exactly as it was described in the listing. The building is located on the corner, but the main door is tucked away just enough to make the building a nice, quiet spot in a busy, vibrant area. We barely heard any noise in the building during our entire stay. The beds were comfortable, and there were plenty of blankets, pillows and towels to easily accommodate our family of four. The kitchen has a bigger fridge for a European apartment, so space was not a problem. The kitchen was very equipped for all of our needs, and Chelo offered plenty of extras like use of umbrellas in the apartment and dish soap / laundry detergent provided if we needed it. Chelo was very helpful before our trip and during the check-in process, giving us lots of helpful advice for finding our way around the city. She also ordered us a taxi for the airport for our departure date which was a huge help since our flight left too early for us to rely on public transportation. The location of the apartment was just perfect. We were able to walk to many places like Sagrada Familia, Passeig de Gracia, El Born, etc., but the Tetuan metro station was a five mintue walk away when we needed to travel further distances. We would absolutely recommend this property for a wonderful stay in beautiful Barcelona!

Excellent place for seeing Barcelona
Chelo was a thoughtful host. The apartment was well equipped (even a dish washing machine), good hot water service, and comfortable firm mattresses. The block it’s in has a variety of restaurants and small markets. Bigger grocery stores are within two blocks. Two key Metro stations are also two blocks away, which saved us having to walk in some rainy weather to Segrada Familia and the Arc de Triompe, which are both also easy walks from Chelo’s place.
All in all, we highly recommend this location and host!

Location was perfect. Close to metro. Easy walking. The apartment was well equipped. Decor is a little spare for our taste, but we rearranged some furnishings (we put everything back before leaving) and brought in flowers for color. Overall, we'd gladly rent again.

Convenient location
Chelo is kind and very accommodating. Enjoyed meeting her. Location was great for Metro and a couple of good restaurants nearby. Loved L’Obrador Cafe and El Viti. The apartment size is good. Used second bedroom as a dressing area. Bed was very comfortable and clothes washer convenient. Bath linens were a bit dingy although they seemed freshly washed. Maybe time for a new shower curtain. We did not spend much time in the apartment. It was perfect for us, but if you want to cook/eat or entertain, would not recommend.

Great apartment in a great location!
Chelo provided excellent service from the moment we booked the apartment. She greeted us upon arrival, provided recommendations for restaurants etc. The apartment is quite large with comfortable beds and a fully equipped kitchen. Very clean and has morning g sun. It’s located very centrally and walking distance to the amazing restored Gaudí-inspired sant Paul hospital and the Sagrada familia. You can also walk to Passeig de Gràcia , diagonal and other major streets. Very close to tetuan metro station. The apartment is in a quiet building and in a fairly quiet neighbourhood even though there’s a gas station at ground level and a motorcycle shop next door. Quiet, friendly property in a residential area.
Chelo is an excellent host, she was friendly and helpful. We arrived late in the evening and Chelo met us at the apartment and spent time explaining how to get around the city and places to eat and shop in the local area. L'Obrador cafe/bakery was just up the street and was great for coffee and cake, Chelo also recommended an authentic Catlonian restaurant just across the road where we enjoyed a nice meal, the friendly staff made us feel very welcome and the service was excellent.
The apartment was nice and bright with everything to make our stay comfortable. The description of the apartment was accurate and had everything we expected.
Tetuan metro was nearby and this made traveling around Barcelona so easy. We had a wonderfully week in Barcelona and found the people friendly and welcoming .

Great Stay
The apartment was a great location and a great place for our family of four. There were lots of great bakeries, restaurants, fruit stands nearby. The metro was super close and we were able to walk to lots of attractions. Chelo met us right at our arrival and had helpful hints to get us going. The beds were super comfortable.

Chelo was/is a very caring landlord, vending over backwards to make sure we were safe and well oriented to the city and neighborhood. We loved staying in her apartment and would go back there without question if we were planning a return trip to Barcelona.

She also met us upon departure and helped us with arranging transportation. The apartment was very clean, had everything we needed and was central to everything we wanted to see.
