About this condo rental
Located in Carolina Beach, this attractive condo for $158 per night is a great choice for your next break. Your perfect beach getaway! This second floor, Oceanfront condo offers spectacular views of the ocean on the quiet North End of Pleasure Island. It is an immaculate, recently renovated, deluxe one bedroom, one bath unit. The Seascape complex features a private swimming pool, ample parking and is only a short walk to the Island's North Pier. There are 2 beach accesses, each being approximately 1/2 block on either side of the building. It is located within walking distance to the Boardwalk and the boat harbor. Also located just a few blocks from Freeman Park where you can drive on the beach with 4 wheel drives. The Fort Fisher Museum, Fort Fisher Aquarium and Fort Fisher Ferry are just a short drive away on the Island. Wilmington is also an easy, short drive away and also offers many unique attractions and restaurants. The condo is completely modern and boasts numerous updates from hardwood floors to custom countertops and paint. Cook your own meals in the fully stocked kitchen, and enjoy the large, open living area that opens directly to the balcony. The unit also features a large flat screen television, Blu-ray DVD player, and in-house washer/dryer unit. The condo is perfect for a romantic getaway but can accommodate travelers with a child or two, or an all girls getaway. Included in your rental are all linens, kitchen essentials and no hidden fees. The spacious master bedroom has a comfortable queen mattress with an extra foam topper and comforter and pillows. There is also a queen pull out sofa bed with a new comfortable mattress, and a full pull out sofa bed as well. Parking available for guests only--never pay to park or for beach access! At Seascape the grounds and courtyard are beautifully maintained and landscaped. The complex features a private swimming pool w/community lounge chairs. Parking by the pool allows room for parking a boat and trailer. Grills are available poolside. The ocean-front view was amazing. We spent hours on the balcony just soaking in the view and the sun. Great location- near restaurants and local attractions. We had a great time.

Extremely clean unit, very friendly and excellent communication with the unit owners. The ocean front view is truly amazing! The only thing we think could be improved would be if some conveniences were provided like soap and napkins… If we were local it would be no big deal to bring with us, but we flew across the country to visit and it’s hard to bring everything like that with us on the plane…

We had a great week vacation at the beach. Watched beautiful sunrises and slept to the peaceful sounds of waves crashing on the beach, all in the comfort of the condo. Thank you for sharing your property.

We liked the location, but the furnishings need to be refreshed. The chairs on the deck need to be replaced before it is rented again. There was one saucepan in the kitchen that didn't look to be safe to use. We just used the microwave instead. To be clear, there was only one saucepan in the kitchen. No bar of bath soap, only hand soap with a pump . We have rented many condos over the years and unfortunately this unit did not meet our expectations. We also killed a very large cockroach during our stay.I don't know if this a common thing at the beach.

This property was just what we needed for a quiet getaway. It’s close enough to dining and the boardwalk and far enough to make it feel as if you are alone on your own. The furniture is comfortable and the kitchen provides most things you might need to prepare basic meals if you do not want to go out.

The condo was nice and checkin was very easy. The location was okay. All of the immediate beach access routes were closed so it was a bit of a hike to get to the beach.

The location is everything! It’s quiet at night, we rode our bikes down to the hustle and bustle of the boardwalk in the evening for dinner and drinks. Walked to the beach everyday. A perfect vacation.

We stayed at this location for 5 days. We had two adults and one 1 year old in the condo. The condo was perfect for us. The closet in the bathroom is large enough to fit a pack n play, though we kept the door open. Right out front of the condo is rocky and the tide comes up pretty far but if you walk a short walk down the road you are able to walk directly out on to the beach without a boardwalk or stairs. This was helpful because we took our son in a wagon. We pulled the wagon right up to our beach spot without a problem.
There were previous reviews regarding the cleanliness of the condo which made us a little weary. However, the condo was clean, shower curtain was new, fan blades were clean, bed was comfortable, etc. The only issue we had was running out of trash bags. We should have packed some with us.
We had no issue parking outside of the condo. The pool is across the street but it’s a super short walk. The pool is locked so you’ll need to make sure you grab the key provided.
You could hear those above us walking but it wasn’t bothersome. It’s kind of expected in a condo setting.
I communicated with the owner a few times and she responded almost immediately and was super friendly.
Overall, it was an amazing experience. We definitely plan on staying here again.

If you want something with a great view this is the place. Can't get any closer to ocean. Easy short walk to beach access. Condo isnt huge but honestly is perfect for the 3 of us and you typically dont spend much time in condo. Neighbors upstairs sometimes sounded like they were dragging furniture across the floor but otherwise nice and quiet. Beach area was not crowded and felt private which we loved. Only complaint i have is we wereleft 1 roll toilet paper for 3 people for 5 days and we wish there were more cooking, baking sheets. Overall we were satisfied with our stay.

The view from the balcony is AMAZING!! We spent a lot of time there. We got to see a dolphin, Beautiful sunrises, people fishing, etc… Walks on the beach we’re so relaxing. It is on the 2nd floor in the middle of the building which turned out be perfect. It gave us shade, coverage when it rained, and privacy. Have never seen my husband so relaxed and content. He is always one to not sit still. At times he didn’t want to leave the balcony. We barely noticed the inside, although it was cute. A couple of people had mentioned it could use a good deep cleaning. Thinking the ocean breeze blows in sand. Isn’t this just a part of being so close to the ocean? We cleaned off our sandy feet outside with the supplied hose, and still by the end of the week we had some sand on the floors. It was clean when we got there. Our truck was on the other side of the building away from the ocean, yet everyday it was covered in a light film of sand.
We are so Grateful to you for sharing your place with us! We are hoping to be back! Soon! Would spend more time on the balcony, if possible.

This is a nice 1 bedroom in a great location right on the beach.It's a short drive to town center and the boardwalk., with lots of small touristy shops. However i would'nt consider staying here again unless they first replaced the aged lumpy mattress and the rediculously bad bed linens, and also cleaned or replaced the mouldy shower curtin.

Easy to locate, easy parking, easy check in!
Oceanfront condo has everything you need. Absolutely stunning view of the Atlantic Ocean right from your balcony. Watched an absolutely gorgeous sunrise coffee in hand. All the cable channels you could want. Close to shopping and minutes to downtown. Can’t wait to go back!

My husband and I went on an overnight getaway. The location was perfect right up against the ocean with a beautiful view. The only issue we had was cleanliness. It was super dusty. Dust was caked on the cabinets and was so built up on the fan blades that it was falling off into our bed. I did express this to the owner. I felt somewhat dismissed. When I pay for a room, I shouldn't have dust falling in the bed. Also, the mattress cover is covered in stains. Very unappealing as you are taking the sheets off and see that. I informed them of this and I was told that they knew it was stained but it was "clean." Still very disgusting to look at.

The condo was mostly clean and stocked with a few hiccups. The shower curtain is absolutely gross and is an easy fix.....so I'm not sure why there isn't a new curtain. There wasn't any paper towels or garbage bags. There was one half roll of toilet paper without any extra. The noisy part of the stay came from the next door neighbors. They are appear young and have very little respect for music volume levels. All that being said it is a great location. It's definitely enough space for two people. Even with these hiccups we overall enjoyed our stay!

We stayed here last year at the same time (winter break, for a week) and again, it was really nice. Perfect for two people. Everything was basically clean, but the property could use a deep clean. The bed is very comfortable, but the linens could be refreshed. Plenty of towels and bathroom stuff. The kitchen was well stocked with basic pots and pans and utensils, but because we cook a lot, we brought one of our own frying pans and were glad we did.
Great seafood market nearby and a Publix also nearby, so very convenient if you like to cook and need a few items.
The view is spectacular from the main room and the bedroom. Great tiki bar a four minute walk away at the CB North pier.
Overall a great stay, the only Vrbo property we have stayed at more than once (so far). Highly recommend.

The place in a good location it was mostly clean but the bathtub was old.We had a good time but you could tell they didn’t spend much keeping it up

We wanted a weekend just for 2 to celebrate my birthday-the condo is just right for 1-2 individuals; loved the location because we fish @ Freeman’s Park; the overall facility was clean-with our ‘first look’ —however it needs a good cleaning-ie: dusty around the kitchen cabinets; & shower liner was molded; But I’m a picky person on cleanliness-so I look @ everything! Would I stay there again-yea!

Great location. Has everything in it. Needs a couple of updates—shower curtain liner needs replacing and kitchen ware needs new pans and the measuring cup leaks. Had a wonderful time there and would certainly come back to same location.

The condo was just what we needed, several days of peace and quiet. It was the perfect size for my husband and I. The bed was really comfortable and everything was nice and clean. I loved the location away from the busy tourist area. Easy access to the beach.

We loved this little condo by the sea. It was very cozy and well stocked. The views were amazing. Well worth the money and we'd go back again. There are some great restaurants nearby and had we been there longer who knows what we would have found. We were disappointed that the walkout to the beach on our end was blocked off which forced us to walk down the street and thru someone else's parking garage (which had a no trespassing sign posted) in order to access the beach. We also didn't understand that the pool was across the street behind a different set of condos and required a key for access. The key is in the on condo, on the bar by the front door but we had no idea. Maybe a small instruction notebook would be helpful. Its a lovely stretch of the beach. Its quiet and refreshing. The condo was beautiful and comfortably furnished. It would also be helpful to make mention more prominently that it is 2nd floor (3 flights of steps) and no elevator. Elderly people would have difficulty going up and down and getting their luggage up and down. I have a bad back and it was difficult. The listing does mention (in very obscure place) that property is not handicap accessible. All this said..be enjoyed our stay and would go back. Thank you for sharing your lovely home by the sea.

It is an older property that would benefit from a deep cleaning and a few updates. The door going out of the bedroom onto the balcony is very insecure, it didn’t close properly. Again it is an older unit.

Best VRBO for a couple! Very comfortable sofa and recliner with huge tv...... all of which are rare in VRBOs! Perfect view of beach and ocean from den and bedroom! Kitchen was perfect too! We will definitely be staying at this condo again and again! It's our favorite VRBO we've ever stayed in!
