We loved our time there with our Golden Retriever and the convenience of our surroundings. Beach within 3 blocks, restaurants and shops within blocks. Beach is open to dogs before 9am and after 6pm (time changes in November.) Bed was very comfortable and having a kitchenette was perfect. Patio was peaceful and a nice oasis with an outside shower for beach excursions. Having your own parking space was a great plus. We’ve sent the link to our kids so they can enjoy when visiting San Diego! Alisa was very kind and friendly. A great hostess with the special chips, salsa and margaritas to greet us! We plan on returning on our next visit 😊

We absolutely loved our stay at the Tourmaline Beach Studio. The studio was fully equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The couch was super comfy and the bed was heavenly! We really liked the shower with its sky-light and knotty pine walls. The vegetation around the studio was jungle-like and the birds, bees and butterflies enjoyed the patio as much as we did. Alisa and Darren were very personable and welcoming. The next time we are in San Diego we would love to stay with them again.

Super cute studio within walking distance to beach, grocery store, Oscars Mexican seafood taco shop, etc. Owners are super responsive to guest needs, we ran out of propane and they fixed the bbq for us. We grilled fresh fish from a tuna boat in Point Loma and enjoyed our 1-week stay.

We stayed for one night. Wish we could have stayed longer. Loved the private back patio and the private parking was a plus too. Very close to dining and the beach! We will definitely want stay here again.

Cozy and Quaint! Was able to relax. Was so close to everything we needed. And the margarita set-up with chips and salsa was a very special touch.

Alisa has clearly paid attention to every detail in this warm and welcoming place. It felt like staying at a friend's guest house. Dedicated parking, totally private, a cozy backyard patio, and a personal beachy vibe throughout. First of all, we could not have asked for a friendlier, more accommodating host. We very much appreciated being able to drop our luggage early. Immediate reply to our texts, welcome margaritas, chips and salsa - all great!! The little studio is super cute. Bright colors, comfy bed. Small, but laid out and set up just right. Love the unique shower. Love that it came with bikes, beach stuff, towels. Everything you need for a quick getaway. And you can’t beat the location!!! Walking/biking distance to all you need - beach, restaurants, bars, shops… EVERYTHING! You get all the stars!!! Can’t wait to come back. Thank you!!

Stayed for just one night but was great!

I was sad I couldn’t stay longer, looks just like the posting. Quick drive or easy walk to the beach. I didn’t have a chance to ride the bikes but I appreciated the idea. The owner is very nice and helpful.

When I'm in San Diego I just need a place to drop my stuff and sleep. This place has a comfortable bed. And the kitchenette was perfect. Big bathroom. A little difficult to maneuver with the dogs sleeper open. But it was okay. My only complaint was the cleanliness of the place. There were tones of spider webs and it was pretty dusty. Other then that I would definitely go again

The space was comfortable. Communication was great, appreciated the instructions and suggestions left in the room. The proximity to the beach area was great. Also nice to have the parking space since the road parking was full the whole time.

It was a wonderful stay! Everything you need is right in this little cottage! Loved the margaritas, chips and salsa, and capri suns for my grandkids that were waiting for our arrival! The bed is comfy and the outdoor shower is such an added bonus! And of course, being so close to the beach is amazing! We will definitely be back! Next time for two nights!

We wished we could have stayed longer! Alisa was very welcoming and responsive to our questions about the neighborhood. We took advantage of the bikes available and went to the nearby boardwalk and felt safe on our bikes for a majority of the route to and from the beach. We were welcomed with chips, salsa, and a set of margarita kits that we enjoyed after biking. The bed is very comfortable, the internet was good, we had all the amenities in the studio that we needed in the kitchen and bathroom. Apart from the backyard bench and bikes that needed some dusting off everything was very clean. The shower was also very pleasant—good pressure, temperature, and unique! When we checked out in the morning one of the hosts came to greet us. We would certainly look to stay here again if we are in the area.

This is a very nice studio close to the beach. The surfers end of Pacific Beach was about a 2 block walk through a cozy neighborhood area. Walking distance of various restaurants, etc. I was initially going to stay in a dog friendly hotel in the area and checked VRBO on a whim expecting everything to be too large and pricy, but this was perfect. Everything you need including kitchen and grill, great location, parking, and a nice patio to relax in private to wind down from the days activities. I will recommend my friends check this out when they are next in San Diego. Thanks for a lovely time!

I was very happy staying this this sweet, cozy abode. The studio was nicely decorated, it was clean, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and I appreciated the makings for the margaritas! The location was a quiet residential street near the beach and restaurants. I wish I could've stayed longer!

My partner and I had an amazing week staying here in San Diego. We loved the location! A short walk to the beach for our daily surf and really close to some great bars and restaurants!

Exactly as advertised. A 5-7 minute walk down to the beach which was nice post-activities for the day. Plenty of restaurants (and laundry) within a 5 minute walk of the house.

Great location near Pacific Beach and all it has to offer. Would definitely stay here again if we're in town.

This listing was awesome for the price and was right up our alley. We were able to sit on the back patio and barbecue if we wanted as well as shower outside. This was 2 1/2 blocks from the beach and close to all shops on Garnet. Our host was exceptionally nice and very welcoming. As for me and my family, we will be back.
