Nothing so dirty

Mold, filthy kitchen, no wifi, noisy , didn't feel safe. The swimming pool was falling apart

Pleasant enough

The location was good - close enough to work to the historic part of the city. The neighbourhood felt safe. I didn’t use the pool, however it looked inviting.

As many others have mentioned, the apartment is used as storage for numerous bed linen and other household items that really do not and should not be there. The whole place needs to be more presentable, especially the kitchen. There are very simple changes needed to turn this into a really great place.

Great deal!

The location is pretty close to zona colonial. 15 minutes walk max. Owner gave us instructions to ask for food delivery. There is a little market and pizza place nearby. I asked for a late check out and he happily supported us.

The bridge to zona colonial looks kinda creepy at night, but police was present during my walk.

Pool area and location The flat itself, awful

Don’t book. Flat is old, extremely dirty. More a storage room for the owner, it’s full of old furniture, the walk in closet is packed with old towels and linen. Only stayed for a couple of hours, simple could not stand it

the only thing that the owner made me walk a lot to find a ATM machine and I got caught in the rain and he still wanna me to get the money for one night more when I had stood 3 nights is like he couldn’t wait until the next day

Great Value with a Great Host

The beds were really comfortable and the A/C in the rooms worked great. The location was a 5 minute walk to the historical center. The convenience store located at the condo with food delivery was really convenient to get groceries or hot food. The apartment was everything we needed with a washing machine, and full kitchen. Host communication and hospitality was second to none. Definitely recommend for the value traveler.

Good value for money, excellent harbour view and convenient walking distance from Zone Colonial.

Excellent balcony view across the river/harbour. Walking distance from Zone Colonial (be careful crossing the roads). Spacious apartment. Pools & lounge areas available (I went to block 20, as the pool immediately upstairs from the apartment was being fixed). AC's available in main bedrooms. The host was very accomodating to my requests via (he in Spanish, me in English).

The cleanliness was good overall except for the kitchen. This needs a deep clean, cupboard to be fixed, worn cutlery and pans to be replaced. Traffic noise is present on most times of the day, but not a big nuisance as I was sleeping in the bedroom at the courtyard side. An AC in the living room would be an improvement too, although fans did an ok job. Pay cash upfront.

Best value for money I have stayed over so far in the DR. The host is a big extra bonus.

Host was accommodating and always checking over. I like the free water and ice when we arrived. He offered us a dozen of eggs also.

Little bit of wet spot on the floor. Although the host explained about a problem on a leak at the start of stay.
