We totally enjoyed our week , the suite was very clean and supplied everything we needed . The AC worked great and the bed was very comfortable. Thad the owner was vey easy to communicate with and was always available. We totally enjoyed the local restaurants and would recommend this suite to any couple . The view was awesome.

The view from the balcony and the floor to ceiling windows of the condo of the ocean and beautiful beach from the eighth floor cannot be surpassed. In addition, the condo had a very comfortable king-sized bed and everything needed for an enjoyable stay by my husband and myself. We felt that we had plenty of room. We ate breakfast and lunch in the condo and went out for dinner. The appliances, dishes, and utensils provided worked well for us. The beach itself was not crowded, and we enjoyed walking down to the inlet at the end of the island. It was a very pleasant vacation.

Very relaxing vacation. Storms nearly every night but the view of the lightning over the ocean was awesome. Daily sunshine and a beautiful beach. The condo was awesome! Furniture was comfy (especially the recliner) and the bed was amazing. Love the pillows. Everything you need for 2 people to have a great vacation. Would be tight for more than 2.

It was a fine place to stay for my wife and I, a little small for any more than that. The bed was a little high for someone of my height but my wife enjoyed the mattress topper. My wife had some issues stepping down from the shower and suggested a handle to aid in that. Wished that the bar for the resort would have stayed open later than it did. Overall we enjoyed are stay and would probably stay there again in the future.

Everything was just right; Not too big not to small. The entire place was clean, comfortable and perfectly set up. The view is breathtaking. We felt as if we were sitting right on the sand. We loved the chairs in the living room, especially the recliner! We loved the layout. And the floor to ceiling views were a first! This is the most beautiful beach we've ever seen. Clear Blue water and a private beach. We only left the resort twice the entire 4 days. Once to go out for dinner when we first arrived and once to the grocery store. And the microwave is not just a microwave. You'll have to try it out. Really loved this thing! We really appreciated the two restrooms and vanities. The towels were so soft and thick not those thin scratchy ones that you'll see at hotels. The bedroom furniture was very nice and spacious. The bed was so comfy and we slept well. The temp was in the high 80's and The air conditioning worked perfectly, even in the bedroom. ( Another review had mentioned it didn't work well in the bedroom but we could feel it perfectly coming out of the vent and kept the room cool enough to snuggle under the heavy comforter set at 72 degrees. ) The kitchen had everything , even a toaster in the upper cabinet that I never opened until the day before we left. Lol We really needed this break. We had received some terrible news that my dad has lung cancer a couple of days before our trip. Then the day before another devastating loss in our family. We almost didn't come. The stress free check in and perfect location with those outstanding views allowed us to sit and reflect and heal a little. At the least we could take the time to process it all without all the hustle and bustle. It was just what we needed and had everything just right. Truly wonderful unit. Great communication and recommendations from the owner. I Highly recommend this rental. Thank you, Thad, for your attention to detail and sharing this wonderful place with us. It was just right and just what we needed.

This was my first time at Wrightsville Beach, I stayed on the North end at Shell Island Resort room 806 and it was absolutely beautiful. I was blown away by the ocean front view. This condo is fairly small but we were three adults and we fit fine. The condo has a wall of windows and it was one of the most relaxing and scenic views, because the resort is all ocean front rooms, with the entrance door facing the green marshlands and it's also on the northern end of the peninsula facing the inlet and figure 8 island, Wow, beautiful from all three sides. On the first morning there, I got coffee and some breakfast at the restaurant and then went out onto the beach and stayed there until about 12pm, it was just perfect, the water is so clean and aqua blue, and it was such a pleasure to swim. It was low tide all week in the late afternoon so we usually walked out to the point for some great shelling and skim boarding and then stayed a while longer to see the spectacular sunsets. I've been to a lot of the beaches on the east coast, and maybe it's because this resort is on the end, but I was just loving it there. Wonderful staff, very easy parking (and we had 3 cars) nice and clean inside and out, island music plays out in the front, I thought that was a nice touch, just a super relaxing and real pretty place, and oh yea, the unit is lovely also lol. The bathroom was upscale with a modern designed walk in shower and the king bed was cozy, the couch was not too bad lol, and that recliner in the living room was my favorite chair, I mean, my god, that view ! anyway, we enjoyed the resort and exploring the area and finding fun things to do, like the farmers market and bakers curiosity shop, a totally weird but interesting place... and each night we enjoyed eating at all those amazing restaurants. While we were there, we went for a guided half day kayak trip on the Black River to see the ancient cypress trees with a company called Mahanaim adventures. Our week was perfect, relaxing and peaceful, with great weather, food and scenery, what more could you ask for.

We checked into our rented condo at 10 pm after a long 8 hours in the car. The room was horrible and outdated. The handles on the cabinets were falling off. We called the host right away and he blasted my husband and called him a Terrorist. I was in shock. Who does that?? My husband is a retired cop and far from a terrorist. Stay away from this host Thaddeaus. He’s a criminal who bullies people

This property is at the far end of the strip so a car ride to restaurants and shopping. It has beautiful ocean views and access. There are over 150 "suites" in the building . The unit we stayed in was clean but needed many repairs and upgrades. No dishwasher or in unit laundry. An an average property "C" level for which we paid a "B" level price.
