Galena Territory is a a gorgeous setting with 3 championship 18 hole golf courses, Owner’s Club, horse back riding and hiking trails just 10 minutes from Downtown Galena. Nicely appointed with fully stocked kitchen featuring newer appliances, quartz counters, breakfast bar, dishwasher, 12 cup drip coffee maker and dining area. The Two Story Great Room provides comfy furniture including recliner. Smart TV has Direct TV cable plus access to your favorite apps! Enjoy the wood burning fireplace while relaxing, we supply the wood! Warmer weather offers use of the outdoor deck with grill and patio table. High speed internet accommodates those working remotely. Master suite features vaulted ceilings and a king size bed, spacious full bath and is equipped with second flat screen TV. Lower level bedroom has 2 twin beds and is adjacent to 2nd bath. We provide all linens and towels, including pool towels. Updated carpet, ceramic floors and rustic décor adds to the ambiance. Stackable laundry available for your convenience. Deck overlooks large rear yard which backs to the woods, providing privacy from the South Golf Course or winter views of the lake. You’ll have access to The Territory Owners Clubhouse which features a gym, indoor and outdoor pools, basketball court and game room. Other activities in close proximity include antiquing, horse back riding, boat and kayak rentals, zip line, hot air balloon rides, wineries, cross country ski trails, winter fun at the Nordic Center, snow skiing at Chestnut Mountain or the Alpine Slide and Mississippi River views in the summer! Nov 2022When we arrived, beds unmade, and towels on floor in upper, and lower bathrooms. Contacted owner. Bernie and Denise were there within minutes. They took care of everything, and even provided a refund on services. Very pleased.

Mar 2021We've stayed here before so it was an easy check in. Surprisingly we experienced our second snow storm of the year during our trip but the resort cleaned all of the roads and footpaths as soon as the snow finished. A nice break break from the city.

The Galena Territory provided us with enjoyable fall activities and the owners were more than helpful in securing reservations and providing the necessary information for us to plan our weekend getaway. Oct 2022We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home was in a perfect location and had everything the four of us needed for a very pleasant stay. The owners were very easy to reach for a couple of odds and ends questions we had which we appreciate very much. We hope to come back next year!

Dec 2021We rarely rent properties prefer camping in our fifth wheel but due to vehicle issues weren't able to camp. This property couldn't be more perfect for what we were looking to do. The villa is kinda secluded which we like that also. Amenities were great. Could not ask for more.

Sep 2021Went for a girl’s vacation, loved the area ! It was very quiet and peaceful. Local shopping was awesome, as was the food . We really enjoyed the Townhouse, it was clean and had a well equipped kitchen. The owner’s thought of everything, definitely felt like home ! Would stay again .

Plus, it is a short drive into Galena, and very close to the Eagle Ridge Resort and spa. My friends and I found the condo to be cozy, comfortable, clean, and quiet. It is a lovely retreat! Accommodates 4-5 adults comfortably. Great communication with the owners!

Mar 2021We had a great visit and enjoyed staying at this home. The home was impeccably clean with great amenities like a fireplace, coffeemaker (with coffee), a full-service kitchen and cable tv. The home is perfectly situated in a peaceful woodsy environment and close proximity to the owner’s club (with swimming, gym, game room, etc), restaurants, spa, golfing, hiking, marina, horse-back riding, parks and downtown Galena. We enjoyed the peaceful quiet atmosphere. Hosts were extremely responsive to our requests and very friendly. Would highly recommend.

The condo was much more enjoyable than a hotel and was nicely located near everything Galena has to offer. While the condo provided everything needed, it was a little outdated and dusty. We were disappointed to discover no streaming was available as we planned a movie night. WiFi was wonderful but Dish network system was not compatible with streaming. Communication with owners was wonderful and instructions received in plenty of time and easy to follow. Would rent again.

Apr 2021This was a perfect get a way for our family for Spring break this year. Having not gone anywhere in 2020, this was our 1st family outing in a while. It was clean and had everything we needed. Owners are very responsive. Location is great and right on a golf course yet far enough back to still feel peaceful and serene. We got to swim at the indoor pool and use both the indoor and outdoor basketball courts. While not on the property, we went to main street and enjoyed several great meals and shopping. We were pleasantly surprised to see the majority of people wearing masks even outdoors on the streets and they were enforcing proper wear in the shops. We also drove to apple canyon state park to hike and it was lovely. I would absolutely recommend this property and we look forward to returning and even bringing another family to stay in their 2nd property. This property is exactly what you expect based on pictures and information posted.

Mar 2022This was a nice townhome out in the country. We didn't expect it to be so far out, but once there it was lovely. We used the condo to explore Dubuque and Galena with our grandson and had a great time. Golfers would love the location with 4 golf clubs part of the association. Thank you!

Oct 2020This property was just as expected! It was a great place to call home for a couple of days. The townhome was clean, cozy, and inviting. The property surrounding it was beautiful with plenty of trails to walk and enjoy! We would rent here again and would recommend!
