About this condo rental
Located in Honolulu, this charming condo for $156 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. This rental is on the 19th floor of the Ilikai Hotel with direct lagoon and ocean views. This 1 bedroom apartment has been remodeled into a large 500 sq ft studio and is gorgeous! High-end materials were used throughout the apartment. We used beautiful flooring in the living room and Italian porcelain tile on the lanai. Furniture is solid teak from Indonesia and an amply sized armoire is present for your wardrobe. New curtains, new cherry wood kitchen cabinets with new full-size major kitchen appliances are ready for your use! The new countertops and backsplash are white quartz in the kitchen and bathroom. The bathroom has Grohe and Kohler fixtures with the same cherry wood cabinet for the vanity. A large in-wall medicine cabinet holds all of your essential toiletries. Recessed lighting has been upgraded in all rooms. Basic TV cable and 300MB Wifi broadband internet is free. We have a large Smart LED TV. We've also installed a safe to store your valuables. The Eastern King-sized bed is a Beauty Rest firm mattress.

My husband, daughter and I had a wonderful experience at the condo! It was spotless, perfectly decorated and the view from the lanai was simply amazing. We were visiting Hawaii for the first time from the East Coast and bringing our daughter to start her college journey on the island. Our 5 night stay here made this such an enjoyable experience as a family as well as the kickoff for us, during the final two days, as empty nesters. Christine was so awesome and answered all our questions quickly. She even shared a few recommendations for car rentals and excursions. We were pleased with every aspect of our stay and will definitely book with Christine again when we return to visit our new college freshman!

The views were incredible and we even caught the fireworks display. Easy walk to the beach (downstairs), to dining or delicious locally made ice cream! The valet service makes parking a breeze (additional cost) - they were fast with great service, even when busy. The condo was as described, in great shape and had everything we needed!

The condo is in the perfect location in the middle of evrrything. Quick walk to beach, lagoon, shops or restaurants. Great view from the balcony.

Location, location, location. Everything posted in the VRBO posting is accurate as described but what we didn’t fully appreciate is just how great a location this apartment is in. It’s in close walking distance (5-15 min) of so many excellent restaurants, the beach, shopping and bus transportation and bus tour pickup stops. You can get around easily on The Bus to see so many local attractions. Ilikai’s heated, salt water pool is also a real treat. The owner, Christine, is most gracious and helpful. The kitchen was sufficient so we could cook breakfast and many of our dinner meals and enjoy eating on the lanai with its great view of the ocean and lagoon. We would highly recommend it for those who want a quality location in Waikiki at a reasonable price.

Thank you to Christine and Mark for having such an outstanding property available! I was lucky to find it had my dates available when I started looking. I would definitely stay again if the current 30 day policy allows for shorter stays in the future. Meanwhile I’m confident other vacationers will find it as special as I did.

The condo is exactly as described, super clean and has amazing views! We thoroughly enjoyed the pools, srestaurants and shops on the property. It’s also within walking distance of many other restaurants/shops. We had an amazing view of the Hilton’s Friday night fireworks directly from the condo’s lanai. Highly recommend renting Christine’s condo!

Everything as stated in description, have stayed at this condo before & will again as it’s very well maintained & no surprises. Host is always available for any questions. For us it’s the only place to stay in Waikiki!

I wish I could attach pictures because it truly was as pictured. My wife and I celebrated our honeymoon this past week here, and while we are sad to be home, we have loads of memories and pictures from Mark and Christine's wonderful condo!
The place was clean as a whistle, views were great. Bed was a bit firm, which we initially were cautious of (we are soft mattress folks), but were shocked at how comfortable it was! There's so much to do in the area, within walking distance. View was great. Porch was clean, everything was clean and updated.
And lastly, Mark and Christine were as responsive as ever, answered a few questions we had almost instantly.
We plan to revisit some day, and probably will be staying here again!

The booking, checkin, checkout and communication was seamless. The apartment was super clean and comfortable. Everything we needed was there to use (kitchen items, umbrellas, beach chairs, etc). The view is excellent and a perfect spot for the Friday night fireworks. I like that this building is at the beginning of Waikiki so it’s a little easier to get in and out of Waikiki without dealing with all the traffic. The only negative thing I can say is it was a little noisy on the weekend. The way the building is positioned, the noise from the lot down below funnels up into the unit…but that’s just an issue with Waikiki.

The property is as advertised. The view is awesome and it overlooks the section of beach where they launch the fireworks every Friday evening. Wonderful sea-breeze when the lanai door is open.
We would book again without hesitation .

We’ve stayed at a few different units at the Ilikai because the building and its location are excellent. This unit really was fantastic- the bed was super comfy, ac worked great, the kitchen had everything we needed and more- it was absolutely perfect!

The room was beautiful, clean, and spacious with an amazing view! I was traveling to Hawaii with my mother who is in her 80s. I wanted some place that would be near everything so she would be able to enjoy Hawaii. I also wanted a place that would be comfortable if she decided to stay in. This place was perfect! The bed was very comfortable. The view from the balcony is even better than in the picture. I highly recommend this unit!

The condo was the perfect spot for our 5 day stay. The views are gorgeous and the condo had everything you could need. Location was close to activites, beaches and good food! Definitely recommend!!!

The view is amazing. You get a pretty good view of the Friday night fireworks. The suite has been updated beautifully. The cupboards are very well stocked with dishes. The only thing we found challenging was that there was no room for food because there’s so many dishes. If you decide on this property you won’t be disappointed.

Everything was perfect. Location, apartment, facilities. There was nothing we needed that wasn’t supplied. Bed was firm & comfortable which we loved. Wifi was strong. Fireworks on a Friday night from balcony was fantastic. Walking distance to restaurants, ABC stores, McDonalds, ice cream parlour. Will definitely be back. Thanks

I’m 66 years young and retired from the Airlines. My first stay at the Ilikai was with my parents in 1972. With this trip, I have relived many happy memories on Oahu and staying at the Ilikai. The condo was fantastic, thanks to our Host’s!

This condo was clean and well stocked and in the center of things. We rented a car and vallet was $35 a day. They were great but I don’t think I would rent a car again because it looks like you can Uber everywhere. Or take a trolley.

The condo was perfect, really. Clean, well stocked, convenient. Loved sitting on the patio. Beautiful view. Extremely pleased with value for money. Don't hesitate to book. The lagoon was icing on the top. Wonderful.
Parking above Red Lobster saved a lot on per day parking and less than a block away.
My only complaint would be the bed. Very firm. Not to my liking but that is a personal opinion and not reflective of any oversight by the owner. Even still, I would definitely stay here again.

Great location. Beautiful views. Very comfortable and clean open plan Unit. Great shower, reliable hot water. Comfortable large bed. Grateful for the little added touches - electric jug for tea drinkers, coffee sachets, toiletry miniatures.
