Nestled in Carbondale, this charming condo for $242 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Spacious living room and kitchen with great views and cozy comforts. Relax with a good book in front of the large picture windows or watch your favorite movie on the 55' Smart HDTV or browse the internet. The fully equipped kitchen has beautiful granite counter tops and all new appliances. This loft is located on the upper level of the Crystal Glass Studio building but is very private and relaxing surrounded by a large yard with lots of trees. It is furnished with custom doors, chandeliers, sconces and a beautiful etched glass shower enclosure in the Master Bath. The master suite has a California king bed and large walk in closet. At the other end of the hall, the second bedroom has 2 twin beds and a large desk to set up your home office. The living room has two hide-a-bed couches - one double and one queen.The laundry room is equipped with washer, dryer and ironing board. You can relax with cocktails on the large private deck and listen to concerts in the park, or bask in the sun on a warm day. Just 1/2 block from Main Street coffee shops, art galleries, massage and yoga studios, great restaurants, bars and Sopris Park. No need for a car, walk to everything in town or catch a bus 1 block away. For being such a small town, Carbondale has made a big name for itself besides being close to Aspen (and all the amenities it has to offer) and Glenwood Hot Springs Pool (world's largest pool and spa). Besides the art galleries, many local artists have open studio to visit. And of course, excellent skiing, hiking, biking, fishing, hunting, and all the Colorado mountains has to offer.

Beautiful apartment centrally located to Aspen, Glenwood Springs, Redstone and Marble. Very clean and extremely comfortable. The patio was an extra bonus. Mary and John were wonderful hosts.

Very pleased staying at this property. Our hosts, Mary & John were pleasant and accommodated our needs. Clean and bright rooms. Nice size bathrooms. Lots of light in rooms and a full kitchen. Enjoyed the art history and pretty summer plants. I would definitely stay here again.

Really, Really great property and great hosts. Location could not have been better. Really well-appointed Kitchen and we did cook in mostly. Wonderfully furnished and tastefully decorated. Five stars says it all!

We enjoyed staying here. We didn’t have hot water for the first day but since the property owners are at their business everyday underneath the rental, they took care of us immediately.

Mary and John have a charming, private property right in the center of Carbondale. We had bus service to Aspen and could walk to the grocery store , library, recreation center, movie theater and restaurants. The apartment had all the conveniences of home with plenty of storage for our ski equipment. Mary and John were always available as their glass studio is on the property. Our 3 months here were so comfortable that we have plans to come back next year. This accommodation far exceeded our expectations!

Everything about the Artists Loft was perfect. The property is very well designed and cared for. The kitchen is very well equipped, and everything from utensils to pots and pans to glassware is excellent quality. Clean? Spotless is more like it. The owners are friendly, welcoming hosts, and they are very responsive to questions about the Loft or the Carbondale area. We 100% enjoyed our time here.

Perfectly appointed loft above Mary and John's working stained glass studio. The upstairs apartment is quiet and very private. Mary and John make themselves available promptly when needed. Located a block from downtown Carbondale, this apartment has easy access to coffee shops, boutiques, a movie theater, parks, bike path, restaurants and more. An attached private deck with table and rooftop/treetop views was our al fresco dining spot during the warmer months. Highly recommend!

Nicely decorated, nice and roomy, quiet and comfortable, upstairs from Many and John's glass working shop. Just off Main St. so totally walkable to the Carbondale core. We were visiting our daughter who lives in Carbondale and we will definitely try to stay here whenever we return.

My husband and I stayed in this beautiful VRBO for a month. It was wonderful in every way and the property owners John and Mary are the best. They have thought of everything you would want and need to make your stay exceptional. The view of Mt. Sopris from the living room is so beautiful. The loft is very spacious and we loved that you could walk to so many good restaurants from this location. We will definitely come back to enjoy this beautiful VRBO.

John and Mary's place is extremely quiet , very sunny , and extremely clean, as well as being well decorated with high quality and artistic touches. They are very responsive. Just a couple minutes walk to great restaurants and Main St, but tucked away with great views of Mount Sopris.

The property was super clean. All the linens and sheets felt brand new and were very soft and comfy. Very spacious condo indoors with plenty of seating options. Outdoor deck was an incredible bonus. Lots of windows inside with great views (Still allowing plenty of privacy). Surrounding property was also very clean and with super pretty flower and plants everywhere. Excellent location with 5-10 minute walk anywhere downtown or to the grocery store. Easy driving access to/from multiple locations. The hosts are super sweet, friendly and caring. You can tell they value hospitality and provide you with the best experience possible. They were very responsive with messages and went above and beyond during check in. We have no complaints what so ever and immediately started discussing a return trip.

This was my second stay in the Artists Loft, and I can highly recommend it. It’s perfectly located for walking and dining in town as well as for sightseeing in the Roaring Fork valley. The apartment is spacious and well appointed, exactly as pictured; and Mary and John are perfect hosts. A great place to stay in Carbondale!
