Very spacious and clean apartment in a great location. Easy to park underneath.

No hairdryer. Very expensive to use the pool/gym. The building itself isn’t being looked after very well - foyer/entrance looks very shabby but the apartment itself is great.

We liked that the building reception was readily accessible, and we easily retrieved the keys from the reception desk. The building is secure (CCTV and security guards), modern elevators, beautiful views from the apartment and state of art facilities (furniture, kitchen, AV & laundry equipment) and WiFi. The apartments were also well designed and well lit because of the large windows.

We did not like that the host was not available to check us in on the first day and provide the rules of the use of the apartment. We realised on day 2 of our stay that the host would carry out an inventory on every single kitchen item but we did not have ample knowledge to make photographic proof of these items on day 1. In addition, we booked two apartments and they were both different in sizes even though they cost the same. One had a much larger living room and bedroom. The bidet in one of the toilets in one of the apartment was also not fully functional.

the view of Nairobi from the flat we stayed was stunning - really tastefully and minimally decorated. well maintained as well. 24/7 security and excellent location in Westlands.

The apartment unit itself had modern finishes, a great view of the city and was clean. The rest was not so great - from reception staff, Prime Living staff to the facilities in the building

Upon arrival just before 6 PM, it was like it was a surprise that I was booked to stay there. The reception staff on the ground floor mentioned that the Prime Living staff had left for the day and left the keys for their bookings (of which I wasn’t one). After multiple calls to a mobile number linked to Prime Living someone picked up and then had to get one of her girls to check. The keys emerged 5 minutes later with one of their staff who said she had intended to leave them on her way out. In the apartment itself there was barely anything to start you off with ie milk for tea or creamer and maybe 2 teabags and coffee sachets for a 2 bedroom apartment. Forget about the rest - salt or sugar or cooking oil. Trying to cook in the morning there was a gas supply block to the apartment which was resolved (note: the other apartment our group had booked had the same issue the following day). The morning after checkin I was then harassed for full payment on the Saturday after we had left for an all day family event - being told that electricity and water would be cut off in 2 hours by the “computer “ if we didn’t make payment. Please note that they had my credit card details from booking.com and the other booking had made a security deposit beforehand for the other unit. We were also informed the office was closed on Sunday so no payment could be made on checkout. We managed to pay at reception (we had to work out how the machine worked ourselves then as the reception staff aren’t Prime Living staff ) when we got back at the end of the day but the experience had already been soured by then. The ground floor lobby staff themselves were not friendly at all and to get an access card to go upstairs a form of identification needed to be left there (not ideal when you are on holiday) and when Prime Living should provide one. In summary I won’t be going back and was glad to check out and move to somewhere else in Nairobi on the Sunday.

The breakfast was mostly vegetarian. Although it tasted Okayy, it wasn’t my cup of tea. Would recommend you try different things.

The hosts weren’t very helpful and in my opinion did not have great service. We had to pay extra for issues beyond our control which added to our stress levels.

Apartment is very modern luxury; plush beds, rain shower, great view. vegetarian restaurant has excellent food and is open late. Nearby restaurants are also quite nice. Despite all the below issues, I may stay there again since it is a reasonable price for a modern 2-bedroom, centrally located, and now I know what to expect and how to iterate.

Guests Be Informed: (1). Check out is 10:00am and 1/2 day fee for late check-out. (allowed us to store bags) (2). Building next to main highway. Noise and exhaust smell is constant when windows are open. However, sound quite minimal when windows are closed. Apartment does not have air conditioning, but fans provided, which was sufficient in cool weather. Facilities: Misleading. On Booking.com it says the property has a gym and pool available, but we received a message the day before our check-in telling us that in reality the gym and pool is privately managed and there is a fee to access ($30 USD per person per day). Also, the property photos show an open view from the rooftop. This photo is taken from a small opening poolside and in reality there is no open rooftop access for viewing. (Suggestion to Improve = be up front about and gym and pool instead of waiting to inform guests until immediately before they arrive.) Check-in: Not Easy. No instructions sent ahead of time. It would have been quite frustrating if we did not have a local SIM to call the listed contact to have someone meet us at reception. Not provided with a building keycard so we had to ask security to open the gates every time we entered and exited. (Suggestion to Improve = send check-in instructions ahead of time and inform guests about abnormal check-out policy) Customer Service: Frustrating. The listed contact person on Booking.com and Google (ending in 5131) did not return my phone calls even when she said she would. However, the property managing director who checked us in was quite helpful. (Suggestion to Improve = give customer service duties to another person) Cleanliness: Lacking. The management co. does not provide any courtesy hand soap for using the bathroom. So, if you're coming from the airport, you must buy hand soap ahead of time if you want to be sanitary.

Someone was supposed to clean every alternate day, but no one showed up for 3 days in a row.

The light in the shower area didn't work, the window in the bedroom didn't close and the curtains haven't been made to completely close and blind the room. For the price of one night, it is expected that everything should work perfectly.
