About this condorental
Nestled in Chincoteague Island, this charming condo for $150 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. This is a great property on the quiet side of the island, but you can be on Main Street or Maddox in five minutes and to the beach in 10 minutes. Etta's Channel Side restaurant is right next to our building. The ponies hang out directly across the channel from our unit! It's also one of the best locations on the island to watch the ponies crossing during the annual Pony Swim! This is a two bedroom, one bathroom unit that currently sleeps five. Can sleep six if you use the couch which is very comfortable. Currently there is a King bed in the master. In the other bedroom there is a bunk bed with a full on bottom and twin on top.

Three of us enjoyed our stay at this waterfront property. We enjoyed sitting on the porch or dock in the evening hours and watching the birds and the lighthouse. Andy was readily available with any questions or suggestions for whatever we asked. We made friends with the neighboring guests and enjoyed getting to know them. This is a nice property and I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation. My only regret was that I didn't take a fishing pole!!!

View of lighthouse, park, and ponies. Quiet waterfront great for fishing and kayaking. I'd drink my morning coffee on the patio and watch the dolphins swim by. Great bar next door with live music, friendly staff, and good food. Far enough away that you don't hear it in the unit. Easy private parking immediately infront of unit. Half-mile to breakfast place and convenience store. Less than two miles to town. Caring and helpful hosts.

The condo is lovely with a fantastic view, and Andy is very attentive. He works on site, so is available to help with any issues that come up. Very nice guy.

Arrive thurs night. TV stopped working Fri. Called twice on Sat. No response called and text Sun. Finally responded, came over. Immediately said we smoked marijuana in unit. We did not. Smoked outside. Said don’t give me a bad review and I won’t give you one. Said we probably dropped TV ?!Proceeded to call us a word that cannot be printedand threw us out. Said he would refund last day. Instead charged 500 to clean. No refund. We are in our 70’s. Had to drive 7 hours home at night. He committed to return the cost of one day and reneged. VRBO CALLED HOST AND HE REFUSED REFUND.

I highly recommend this condo, right on the water, overlooking Assateague Island. Every morning I got up, I could see the ponies on Assateague. I also saw Loons, Buffleheads, Mallards, and Grebes right outside my door! The fishermen drove by in their boats, I saw the sunrise and sunset, and the lighthouse at night! If you love nature and Chincoteague and Assateague Islands, I really do not think you can do any better than this location. Andy and Rebecca are super nice people, so friendly and helpful, and always available. They remodeled this condo with all the modern appliances and features. The photos just do not do it justice. I was really pleasantly surprised when I walked in. I had friends and family visit me at the condo and they were all jealous. I stayed during the winter so it was quiet and serene; perfect for me! There is also a dock that accompanies the condo, so if you are there in the summer, you could rent a boat or a kayak and that would be a lot of fun! I could write a book about how nice this place is and how nice the owners are. Just stay here and you will LOVE it!! : )

Our family of 4 (two teenagers) thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet of the porch, being right on the water, seeing the lighthouse and ponies, watching the birds and boaters go by. We also were fortunate to have timed our visit to view a rocket launch from Wallops Island! Wonderful getaway!! And VERY nice for our two teens to have their own bedroom! Wish we could have stayed longer, would definitely go back!

The condo was just dirty. The sofa, loveseat and chair was stained and dirty. No heating and air unit, only a air unit with a small electric heater. The toilet wasn't cleaned as well. The lining and pillows should be changed as well. We was so over it we left a day early. If we could have gotten our money back, we would have left the same day. I would never visit this property or refer it to anyone. Property owners should make sure that their properties is maintained well at all times.

We enjoyed our stay in this condo. It has incredible views out the back of the bay both sunrise and sunset and a view of the lighthouse. Peaceful location and convenient to driving to the beach.

Couldnt have been a better place to hang out with my wife and my 5 and 3 year old. Able to look at jellyfish and crabs off the back pier. Look at ponies with binoculars in the morning. Great and memorable vacation with the kiddos. Andy communicated with us when I texted him, and we honestly had no issues on the trip. Highly recommend

The condo is at a good location on Chincoteague island. It has a private dock, which is great for fishing, crabbing, kayaking, and watching the sunrise. It has a nice kitchen, with all kinds of utensils. It is a great place for a family vacation.

This property is very nice, well kept, and as advertised. It is a convenient location to all in Chincoteague, including restaurants and beach. Enjoyed the views of the water and lighthouse from the back porch. We appreciated the list of restaurants from the owners, and the well-organized check in/check out instructions. We enjoyed our stay!

Absolutely spectacular location! Right on the water with a long dock reaching way out into the water. Very comfortable and tasteful decor and lodging. Plenty of room for 4 to 5 people, full size kitchen with appliances. Deck with furniture overlooking the bay. I will recommend it to anyone who is thinking of going to Chincoteaugue.

FANTASTIC 3 DAY LODGING!
Absolutely spectacular location! Right on the water with a long dock reaching way out into the water. Very comfortable and tasteful decor and lodging. Have been going to Sea Tag for years, stayed in many different condos. #11 has been beautifully updated and had everything we needed for our long weekend. Beds were comfortable, tv's easy to work, kitchen had what we needed for cooking, and the view over to Assateague as beautiful as ever. Highly recommend Andy's place!

This was the perfect spot to explore Chincoteague. It was convenient to the sites, clean, comfortable and had an amazing view. The dock offered a nice opportunity to try our hand at fishing. My 2 daughters and i had plenty of space. Highly recommend!

It’s beautiful views of the refuge make this place perfect. There’s 4 chairs & 2 small round tables for drinks on the communal deck & the dock is literally steps away from the sliding glass door. There’s oyster reefs everywhere including right under the dock, you’ll see it at low tide. There’s a kayak rental place you can walk to (Snug Harbor). The condo is incredibly convenient, bunk bed with a queen bottom bunk (the first bedroom you enter when opening the front door). The king bedroom is right next to it & there’s one bathroom. Everything was clean. There’s both a keurig & coffee pot, filters were in the cabinet, no k-cups. There’s one pair of binoculars on the table (nice touch y’all)! There are food trucks all over the place- try them! They’re awesome & unique to the island. Visit the refuge! Don’t litter. Be respectful to the place & wildlife. The island is a treasure & this condo is a wonderful place to stay to enjoy it. Just one thing to be clear: while the views are magnificent, it’s not facing a direction that you can not see the sunrise or sunset directly.

The house was well stocked and had a great kitchen that looked like it was recently remodeled. The location is more remote and very quiet with the exception of the compressor unit outside of the master bedroom.
The house wasn't as clean as we would have liked but if it were just myself, I wouldn't have minded. My wife is more sensitive to that kind of stuff. The tub curtains had some mold on the bottom of it and the master bedroom window as well. The house had A/C but no central heating so I assume it gets more humid than other homes.
There is a dehumidfier that was provided and that provided good relief. Overall, it was a great location close to Main Street and Maddox.

The best getaway!
This is our second time staying at Andy's condo and we loved it as much as the first time. Nothing can beat the water views here. The condo is nicely decorated and very comfortable. If you are an donut and an art lover, be sure to go into Onancock and visit the Corner Bakery and the art galleries for a nice day trip.

My husband, son, and I came to get away for a few days over Thanksgiving break and to check out Chincoteague. The view overlooked the Refuge and we spent hours looking at the birds and wildlife outside the door, which was a great bonus. We were a few minutes drive to the Refuge as well as many good, local restaurants. Andy gave us great recommendations for seafood (which we took) and gave us a lot of helpful tips. The property was fine overall, although there was some hair on the bathroom floor and dust under the bed and in corners, but maybe that’s because no one had stayed there for a bit. Overall it was definitely what we were looking for!
