It could be more cleaner

Everything!! If your look for somewhere really nice, clean, comfortable, great location and secure look no further. My brothers and I loved this penthouse apartment on top of onyx hotel. The owner Aero was amazing in every way possible, accommodating and great communication was top notch. From the clean to the staff at onyx absolutely great.They made us feel at home away from home. If I am in cape town again definitely staying there. Highly recommended 👌🏿

It was absolutely gorgeous inside and very spacious. The art in the apartment was absolutely incredible and wonderful to look at. Beautiful view from the rooftop and cozy loungers next to the pool. The bathrooms are very spacious with a large bathtub to relax in. Stunning kitchen with all the appliances you could possibly need. A lot of thought went in to the interior decor and it creates a very luxurious and cozy atmosphere.

Would have been great if there was something to play music on in the lounge. My morning coffee on the balcony would have been 10/10 if I could play my jazz in the background.

The space of the apartment was good and it had a washer/dryer in the unit. It is hard to tell by the photos but it is a 2 bed/2.5 bath. Perhaps the sofa turned into a bed but it was small so we didn’t look. Did not use the kitchen so can not say how well equipped it was. Does have an upstairs balcony. The restaurant YU was very good.

Having no electricity due to the owner not having enough funds on the account. We woke up very early to get ready to leave for the airport and had no power. We quickly realized it was isolated to the apartment. Found the breaker box and then saw there was no funds on the box. I sent messages to Dino and did not hear for hours. We declined the housekeeper previously in our 6 night stay as we were there only in the evening. The day before we left she asked if they could change the flowers and I said yes. When we returned we found that the housekeeper put away all our belongings in drawers/cabinets/closets. Trying to locate our belongings with no emergency lighting was not fun. All we had was a light from our cell phone as it was well before sunrise. Once Dino did respond it was merely I am sorry for the inconvenience. I asked her to make good on the situation and the best she could do was reply “ I’m sorry Albert for the negligence, if you ever come to South Africa again we will give you free stay at our place Have a safe flight ✈️ and a lovely weekend” I told her that I would leave a proper review (as in negative) as we were unsure if we would be back in CT. I then gave Dino one last chance to give us a partial refund for 1 night of the 6 night stay and Dino has yet to respond. I gave DIno the chance to do the right thing and they didn’t therefore the review. It may be a lovely apartment but if something goes wrong do not count on the host to make anything right.
