Great home base in Edinburgh.

great location, lots of room, many needed amenities were provided, clean.

apt #4 required a lot of steps to walk up to room. No elevator.

Great apartment in a convenient location to explore the city

The apartment was very nice and with an amazing view on a park. It'd have been nice to stay longer than just one night! Location is quite convenient and close to many breakfast and dining options. The main points of interest in Edinburgh are within short walking distance, making it a good base to explore the city. Private parking is only 2 min away and needs to be booked in advance. The hosts allowed us to keep our car there for a little longer after check-out time, so that we did not need to look for another parking spot before leaving the city.

Before our stay, we received a couple of long messages from the hosts regarding how to access the building and apartment with a code, as well as other information (e.g. parking). The instructions were very detailed, however it felt a little overwhelming due to the length of the message and amount of information. Overall, accessing the apartment and nearby private parking was very simple.

Lovely, central apartment.

The location of the apartment was wonderful, very close to the city centre and local restaurants and shops. It was a huge apartment which was comfortable and offered all of the facilities that we needed and more.

Unfortunately we didn't have our bins emptied on day two so we ended up having to pile up our rubbish in the kitchen. There was a smell of mould in the bathroom but no obvious signs - it may be worth checking to make sure that this isn't an issue behind the bath.

Cozy and perfectly located!

Property was very spacious and so cozy! Felt very at home. Had everything I needed!

Excellent value for money, first class.

Support on the phone with hosts was super and helpful. The apartment is massive, comfy and spotlessly clean. The shower was awesome too.

Spacious apartment, great location

The property was spacious and very comfortable. Fantastic location close to the city and also the tram to get us to the airport on departure

Advise the client when booking that it is on the 3rd floor and there is no lift. Attention to detail on a few things eg the toaster was broken

Great value for Edinburgh

Very spacious for two couples, plenty of room to relax in the morning and evenings. While the living room faces the street, which does have some road noise, the bedrooms are are at the back and were very quiet. I have stayed in Destiny Scotland properties before and would highly recommend them!

The water tank/pump was a bit loud anytime someone turned on a tap or flushed a toilet but not a huge issue.

big rooms, good location, warm great place to stay

big rooms, good location, warm and great recycling bins.

fridge had a problem closing, fire controls did not work, loft had no locks and outside hall loft was not locked so easy for someone to get into flat. quilt in main bedroom was stained.

One bedroom apts

Been before but was a top foor apt.Thought I was getting the same one,did ask.Was so much better.Instead got bottom floor.Was ok,alot bigger.

Bottom floor,next to entry door.Windows not double glazed.Drafty and traffic.Was disappointed with leather board and glass bedside tables with lamps thick with dust. Would we stay again?Not bottom flats.

Q-Residence Edinburgh

An attractive property, highly convenient, easy to access set in a great location. Above all else the standards of cleanliness and hygiene was the best I have experienced. The facility was spotless and felt confident staying and didn’t need to do any additional cleaning upon entering the property which has sadly been the case at a number of places we have stayed in Edinburgh despite careful research and assurances.

Absolutely nothing. Please pass on our feedback to the staff managing the property. Please maintain this high standard and we will definitely be returning.

Great location! Very spacious apartment!

Could have been cleaner in places - stains on carpets / sofa cushions. Guests in apartment above were inconsiderate and allowed what sounded like children to run around rooms - this was noisy for us below.

Exceptional

Beautiful spacious apartment, with lovely facilities. Comfortable beds, Netflix on the TV, huge kitchen.... what more could you want. Great location within an easy walking distance to everything you need.

Amazing apartment

we loved the location, the gorgeous high ceilings and the fact it was immaculate.

The beds could have been bigger in such massive rooms. The TV was tiny so again a bigger one would be great. there was no chairs in the bedroom. there was no dressing tables.

Clean, high standard, close to town centre.

Free Parking has limited spaces... So I had to pay for my car for a weekend (about £50) in car park not far.

Excellent location

We had a top floor apartment which was large and quiet, excellent location for exploring the city.

I found the service quite “corporate” and unfriendly. Also, I booked the property as it is advertised as with parking. This is however very limited and wasn’t available. There is long stay parking in Edinburgh, not attached to this property, so could have chosen any apartment in the city rather than one advertised “with parking”.

Great apartment!

Very Clean. Big, bright rooms with high ceilings. Location. Decent shower. Good kitchen facilities.

The noise of the water pump topping up pressure intermittently is not ideal. Bathroom fan could be better. Shower door seal leaking. Wi Fi weak. Could do with more standard lamps in living area and / or have ceiling light on a dimmer switch. Nothing to prevent a return visit though!
