Brilliant stay in lovely apartments , would use again 100%

Grat stay in 2 lovely apartments , view from number 20 on 2nd floor is something else! Close to john moores bar (300m) , reeds bay / thunder bay bar (500m) , few placest to eat within walking distance and bus stop right outside on the main road! Overall we had fantastic time and the communication was great for collecting keys and when they organised transfers! Top marks!

Road noise may annoy some people during the day , didnt bother us though but for the review i have included it!

TV channels not available no point as nothing to look at and facilities a little dated in particular the bathroom in no 11 where we stayed which definitely needs sorting

An amazing stay but not value for money this time round sadly

Accomodation was showing signs of being tired. Felt especially bathrooms / oven needed a deep clean. Otherwise it was okay.

Great for the price

The price. Compared to other properties nearby, it was cheaper and probably had more space that the average hotel room for a similar or higher price. I loved the balcony with the accordion door that could open up the entire length of the wall. The security measures for this entire complex made me feel safe.

It’s was slighted dated, the balcony seem to be newly renovated and decorated and was beautiful but overall the inside apartment was just very average. There was a note that said “machines not for rental use or incur a fee” I wasn’t sure if that was meant for the appliances but I didn’t see any other machines they could be talking about. I never needed to use them but I definitely was hesitant to and the one time I thought about using the microwave it was late at night so I couldn’t call to ask. You can definitely hear through these walls.

We had a pleasant stay and enjoyed the close proximity to the things we wanted to do. Recommended.

I liked the size and comfort of the space and the modern kitchen equipment. I also like the staff and their attention to us and our needs. I really grew to value the night security guard. Andy was a delight and very helpful throughout our stay when returning late at night or tired after dinner, he'd have the gate open for us before we even thought of touching the security code pad. In that vein, the host's team was very helpful and attentive throughout our short stay and it was easy and pleasant to communicate with them and get their recommendations on various things to do on the island or to find various services we needed at any moment. Very good host team. The pool was in a great location and was just the right size and complexity to allow for all the family to feel comfortable and to enjoy: a low pool for the 5-year-old and a deeper pool for the adults and older kids.

I didn't like that we didn't get a personal reception with the ability to go over particular things that are unique to the property. For example, the door to the patio closed in a particular way which is not intuitive. We could have had the host explain to us how it works instead of struggling with it for a while, then having to call up the host for an explanation. There were several other items like this which, fortunately for me, I figured out on my own. Perhaps a visual guide would help? Another issue that arose was that a door was broken and couldn't be unlocked. To fix this took more than a day and involved people entering the property while we were away, which was not properly coordinated with us. it also meant that we had to spend valuable time waiting for the service providers to fix the lock. Valuable time that we could have spent on holiday. Not a deal-beaker, but not ideal either. I understand that COVID policies have changed the way guests are received but the solutions have to adequately compensate for the lack of in-person contact with the hosts.

The beds were very comfortable. it was lovely and clean.

some mattresses for the sun beds by the pool would be good as they were v uncomfortable. a mirror in the bedroom would be useful,

Lovely location,peaceful,secure.Ideal for travel with bus stop right outside.Pool lovely and clean plenty of furniture by pool.Staff lovely and nothing too much for them.

Exceptional

Perfect place for families. You get all you need. The kitchen is fully equipped even in wine coolers. Apartaments are very well planned and spacious. Close to the beach.

There is some noise from the main road.

great location in barbados and kids loved the pool

far too much furniture in the apartment, can barely move in the kitchen with the big table in there so need a smaller one. also they only have a 2 seater sofa but there are 4 beds so the kids had to sit on the floor for movie night :(

we didn’t have enough chairs to seat 7, short of pots and pans for cooking, no sun in out property or much round the pool so ended up on beach everyday

A good affordable holiday

The flat was spacious and clean; aircon in every room. Warm and clean pool. The staff was friendly and polite. The view from our balcony was great.

The nearest beach is about 1km away along the busy road, this was the main downside for us. But there's a bus stop right in front of the property, so you can get to some good beaches by bus. No cafes/shops in the area.

Superb

Lovely apartment with access to on site pool. Air conditioning was appreciated. Excellent location with access to beautiful beaches. Concierge and property manager were very helpful on arrival and after. Very comfortable, soft beds. Wifi was solid. We had a wonderful time.

Disappointing

patio was the best part

Water was shut off 2 days with no warning which was very inconvenient. I ordered groceries when I arrived and I did not receive my full order which means my dinner was lemon water and a banana. The host was not timely with communication and there were no baking sheets for the oven. I still havent had a response about where to leave the key when done - -I left yesterday.

Awesome

Excellent facility, beautifully furnished and a good location. The Thunder Bay beach is a short walk and great for snorkelling. There are two pools and lovely gardens. You should also pop to John Moore bar which serves an excellent and cheap rum punch!

Really cant think of anything negative to say.
