Don’t go wouldn’t recommend
The position of the property was great
We had NO water for 6 Days out of the 7 days that we were there!! Water pump broken and when there was water there was no pressure. All you want to do when coming off of the beach is get cleaned up. Try this without WATER! And then you get told rudely by the staff have a swim in the pool. Do they expect my family to wash in the swimming pool in full view of the staff?? The TV also was not working. We were told that they don’t wash any dishes and we must use the dishwasher You try use a dishwasher Without Water.

Nice place to stay close to the beach even for a big family!
Great location, easy access to the public beach. The pool area is also a nice feature, also a bbq is available to use. The apartment is huge, 3 floors, nice layout for up to 6 people! Security is also very good!
It needs some maintenance, we had some issues with the water supply for a few days. It was resolved eventually. The bed on the top floor was very noisy, every time I moved the bed made a squeaky noise.

Pleasant
the location is very good..it is close to the beach...just cross the street and you are on the beach
cleaning was done daily ... but it was not really done well. there are some problems, I asked for a light bulb to be changed and in 8 days no one came... the shower on the 1st floor of the middle accommodation runs and the water ends up in the hallway. the shower was not washed in any day. the water in the pool is green. although they came every day for cleaning and maintenance. overall it's ok but not worth 1800 euros for 7 days.

A lovely place on a noisy street - too bad they made us feel unwelcome
There were some positive elements: the top-floor shower head might be the best we’ve ever encountered in our 27+ years of traveling. Sadly, though, the door to the shower cabin couldn’t be properly closed, so water invariably leaked out after every usage. Another positive element: the staff. Nathalie welcomed us warmly and expertly showed us the accommodation. She was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The two cleaning ladies were very friendly and did an excellent job. The minimalism pervasive throughout the accommodation could be considered both positive and negative, it’s a matter of individual taste. But: Never have we encountered a place with 2 big balconies – with sea views, no less! – and absolutely no balcony furniture whatsoever. More minimalism: each bedroom has ONE chair, which, we were told, could be brought out to the balcony. How is a couple supposed to enjoy the view – by STANDING outside, taking turns sitting on the one chair (which doesn’t even belong on the balcony)? Another positive element: the beds were excellent. Although we had three bedrooms at our disposal, we spent the first five nights of our honeymoon in the two twin beds of the “kids’” room, because the air-conditioning units in the other two bedrooms – the ones with large beds – weren’t working. When we discovered this, after our arrival on Sunday, we simply decided to sleep in the (only) room with a working a/c. We were too exhausted from the long flight to do anything else. It was much too warm inside the other bedrooms to sleep without a/c. On Monday we called Nathalie and told her about the a/c. She said she’d let the owners know and they’d send someone to have them fixed. On Tuesday, the security guard came to our room and put his cellphone to my ear; a male voice asked me if we could be at the room at 5.30pm so that a technician could have a look at the a/c. At 5.30 we were there, waiting for the technician. SEE BELOW FOR REST OF REVIEW
We waited until past 6.30 before we left to have dinner. Nobody contacted us. After dinner we sent Nathalie a text to let her know what happened. On Wednesday, a technician came. He had a look at the a/c on the top floor and was then on the phone, presumably with the owner. Then he left. No repairs were made, no explanation was given. This is when the feeling of being truly unwelcome came into full force. Things weren’t 100% functional on Sunday evening; no problem, we’re experienced travelers, we know that problems can occur. That nothing happened until Tuesday was a bit frustrating, but we were patient. On Tuesday we were instructed to sacrifice our vacation time to wait for a technician who didn’t show up; with a valid explanation – and apology – this, too, can be accepted. But what happened on Wednesday is unforgivable. And the fact that the a/c wasn’t fixed until Friday – our SIXTH night – is appalling. The technician had no special tools on Friday – and the repairs were performed in under 15 minutes. Why didn’t this happen on Wednesday? The only apology was in an email which we received on Saturday – and the entire blame was placed on the technician, when it was very clear that it was the owner who was standing in the way of the a/c getting fixed. Given our experience, I cannot recommend staying here, which is a shame, because there are clearly positive elements to the Anaya Residence. Sadly, though, they are all captive to the owner’s whims, which, at least in our case, were uncaring and unprofessional. We’ve encountered lots in our travels, but never before had we experienced first-hand the original sin of the hospitality industry: feeling unwelcome. That is the reason for the lowest possible score on “value for money”; if I am made to feel unwelcome in a place – especially one in which I’m paying 200 euros/night! – the value of staying there is negative.

Very good alternative to a hotel room for families.
Amazing for families with a big house, well equipped kitchen and easy access to terrasse and pool. Right by the beach. Lots of towels and daily cleaning.
Most good restaurants, supermarked etc. are in the other end of the beach (10 min walk).

Lovely apartment & pool for our first holiday in Mauritius
The apartment is very spacious with generous lounge area and bedrooms. The pool is glorious. It’s in a great position to the beach and local area. the staff were very friendly & helpful during our stay. The grounds are very private while still being close to the action.
