Situated in Holualoa, this lovely condo for $250 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. To our dear and faithful previous visitors and new vacationers Please always remember we NEVER charge an owner host fee - everything you see is yours to use, eat - candy, snacks, coffee, all beach and snorkel equipment etc etc etc. enjoy and of course no cleaning fee. Enter to the panoramic view of the ocean in a gated community to your single story home with private entry to your suite. You will have a comfortable king size bed, 2 side tables, TV, AC, WiFi, private bath with shower and oval tube, double sinks with full length mirror. Coffee bar, microwave mini fridge with a small freezer, kuerig coffee pot, electric tea kettle, toaster oven, water, candy and other treats. You will also be provided all bath products, plus beach towels, umbrella, mats, chairs snorkel gear, and Big Island Reveal book to tell facts about where to go and what's best.- also all pamphlets and magazines about restaurants and big island adventures. You'll be happy with your choice of staying in this beautiful suite whether its 2 nights or 2 months. If you plan on staying long term please check with the owner for laundry facilities available during certain days (Plus special rates for terms longer than 2 weeks) This property is located approximately one quarter of a mile from ocean access, 3 miles from Kona Village and 8 miles from the airport Farmers Markets, restaurant and shopping are close by. The host couldn’t be sweeter! We had everything we could have needed for our island vacation. We loved that there was snorkel gear, a cooler, beach towels, beach umbrella, pool noodles, beach mats, snacks, a few drinks, coffee pods, paper plates, regular plates, coffee mugs, silverware and even books to help you decide what to do on the island as well! There is a small dorm fridge with freezer on tap, a microwave, a toaster oven and a Keurig to use. This setup worked fine for us. Not a full kitchen or space for meal prep which you would know if you read the description. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was huge and the hosts were super quiet on their side of the house. They control the temperature but we were always comfortable. I’m sure you could just message the host if you needed it adjusted. You have your own entrance and can park right in front of the house which is nice. It’s in a gated, very nice neighborhood. There really isn’t a view of the ocean but that was ok since we were out and about all day. They have a gorgeous pool in the backyard that you can use but we just didn’t have time to use it! So busy getting our beach and snorkel time in! Quick drive to town, the beach, anywhere really. She let us have a late checkout on our last day because she didn’t have guests coming until the following day which was so nice of her! It gave us another day to spend at the ocean and come back and shower before we flew home.

Truly a hidden gem of a vacation rental. The owner was awesome because they always accommodated us on every level. Less than two miles from downtown Kona and very easy to navigate in and out of. We WILL use this property when we book our next Kona trip.

This is a great place for a couple to stay! It is very clean and extremely comfortable. The bathroom is quite large and the towels super soft! The neighborhood is attractive and quiet. Marcy was such a gracious host! She was easy to communicate with and thought of everything! Knowing it was our anniversary, she even surprised us with wine and cupcakes! Only wish we had more time to spend to enjoy the beautiful pool!

Larger room, huge bathroom with shower and tub. Tons of amenities! Lots of yummy snacks and all kinds of beach gear available. Easy check in, and great communication by host. Sad I had such a short trip and didn’t get to take advantage of everything!

The place lived up to its on-line description and worked well for our short trip to the Big Island. The owners were very helpful to provide necessary information and available for anything else we might have needed. We would definitely return for a repeat stay if we had the time.

The Ohana was just as described in the listing and had everything we needed for our short stay . The gated community had breathtaking views of the ocean as you drove in gates. The bed and bedding were very comfortable for our relaxing stay. We had access to the pool and enjoyed using it during our stay. The landscaping of the back yard is spectacular had the feel of being in your own botanical garden. The hosts John and Marcy are extremely nice folks who were very welcoming and attended to needs. The beach gear is also a nice touch considering we only were there for a few days. We really enjoyed our stay there relaxing before we headed back to the mainland.

Couldnt use the pool. The back of rhe lanai was messy. No kitchen so we had tobeat out every meal and no washing machine. Otherwise beautiful home with nice people.

Really enjoyed this rental in a gated community near Kailua. Lots of amenities and great communication with our host. Everything we wanted to do on this side of the island was within 30 minutes.

Very comfortable, especially with pool in back of property and help from daughter, Jennifer. Baked items very welcome as well. Property could be more marketable with 'full' (more workable) kitchen and a little more storage space.

We really enjoyed our 10 day stay here. John and Marcy (and Jen!) were wonderful hosts. From the fruit plate and goodies at check in to the snack bags for our flight home. Excellent quiet neighbourhood just a few minutes drive to the main highways north and south. Also just a few minutes to downtown. A 5 minute walk to Ali'I to catch the free trolley too. Back garden is wonderful and private and has that great pool. Accommodation has everything you need for your stay at the property and off, with all kinds of beach gear provided. John and Marcy are very generous and kind hosts. Would stay again if we make it back. Thank you guys.

This place is exactly what we needed for our time in Kona. A beautiful quiet neighbourhood, just a few minute drive to the busier part of town. The guesthouse was very spacious with all the beach accessories we needed (beach chairs, towels, umbrella, snorkelling gear). My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer to enjoy the beautiful pool in the stunning backyard. Thanks again! We loved our stay.

Me and my partner had a short stay when visiting the Kona area and Volcanoes Ntl Park. John and Marcy were wonderful and were very responsive with our requests! Free parking was available in the driveway, and basic cooking amenities were available including a microwave/refrigerator/grill. Bathroom was spacious and the included snorkeling equipment saved us some money on rentals (fins were size adjustable so worked for even our smaller feet).

Very friendly and helpful hosts, clean and comfortable bed and bathroom (low bath & shower cabin with low threshold), beautiful garden and swimming pool. From the street above a great view over the ocean. Barbecue grill, microwave, small oven, water boiler, but no stove for extensive cooking with pots/pans. A car is recommended for getting around, as the nearest market/shop is a couple of kilometres and the accommodation is located on a steep hill (plus side is: beautiful view from the community on the ocean and very peaceful neighbourhood).

Clean, comfortable, well decorated suite in quiet neighborhood. Easy walk to downtown and viewing of the Ironman bike turn. We enjoyed swimming in the pool before bed every night. We highly recommend this property!

This place was everything we were looking for, and so much more! We particularly appreciated an early check-in as well as hospitality of the owners. We were greeted with a basket of fruits and snacks, a welcome card, and a thorough overview of must-do and must-see things on the island. Once Jen and her daughter found out I was on my 8th month of pregnancy, they went out of their way to make me feel comfortable by getting me a body pillow and coconut butter lotion. A very nice addition to our stay was the backyard pool with various floating devices and tanning beds. I'm hoping we'll be able to come back with the little one next time we are on the Big Island :)

If you are looking for a quiet, low key place to relax, this is the place. We stayed for a few nights while on the island. The location was great for dining/shopping. The room had everything we needed and even a thoughtful welcoming gift from the hosts. The backyard was calming and relaxing when we were ready to chill but not ready to call it a night. The vrbo was perfectly situated from town and was a great place to relax after a day of exploring. Everything was clean and everything you needed for a temporary stay was there. My wife and I stayed at the property for a week in July 2022. It is exactly what we were looking for on our trip to the Big Island. It is a short drive to downtown Kona. We were looking for peace and quiet in a safe location. The property is in a beautiful gated neighborhood. The room was spacious and clean upon check-in. It had everything we needed including chairs and an umbrella for our trips to the beach. Marcy was always available when we needed clean towels or had any questions. We used the pool one day and it was nice to just sit in the large backyard and enjoy peace and calm. Marcy even provided a bottle of sparkling wine and birthday card for my wife’s birthday. It was the perfect place for our much needed vacation!

We went to 4 islands this trip and this was by far the best place we stayed. The room and amenities were absolutely perfect. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable too. If I could do 6 stars, I would. The only improvement would be if they had laundry machines available.

This is an incredible property with absolutely everything you could possibly need. It’s clean, tidy, great amenities, and the bed is to die for… so comfortable! The hosts were both very approachable and helpful. Great location to get to anywhere in Kona and a beautiful gated community for safety. I would 100% use them again if/when I come back.

John&Marcy know how to make guests feel pampered! Our short stay was superior to our other islands' accommodations, and it's very apparent these hosts know how important details are. (We appreciated the facial tissues after not having them on Kauai) John & Marcy thought of everything! They make their pool available in addition to plenty of towels & equipment for the beach. I appreciated the care they take to ensure a comfortable, pleasant guest experience!
