The biggest surprise was the owner of place. He is not just the owner, he is your friend throughout whole your vacation. He will make your staying there so enjoyable that u will wish to come back again as soon as you can. View and the sunsets from your apartment will leave you speechless! You will enjoy it every day of your staying there. If you are looking for the sounds of nature and peace, this is the place for you. So clean, so comfortable and so spacious. Wish you the very best time there, just as we had!

The suite is very well equipped, modern and comfortable. The host was very friendly and we were encouraged to pick fruit from the trees,
Unfortunately the view was obstructed with equipment, the location is some distance from the sea and very limited facilities for essential household goods require transport. Cold water shower on last morning.

We spent 7 days in apartment on the 2nd floor. The apartment is bright, but not hot-because there is fully functional and powerfull air condition- 2 units in "living room and kitchen" and in each room separate air conditioning unit.
The apartment is functionally furnished, both in terms of furnitures and in terms of appliances ( cooker/stove, mircowave, electric kettle, toaster, electric "briki" - coffe machine for typical meditterian coffee preparation).
There is enought space to sit ( table with chairs) and for relax too- 2 sofas and 2 armchairs. And there is sitting chill place on terrace too.
We were very pleasantly surprised by the towels we had at our disposal and also by the clothes dryer.
The apartment was bright, clean, large and silent. It was very pleasant to spend time there.
The apartment has 2 separate rooms and 2 separate bathrooms with toilets.
From terrace is nice view to see and fruit trees and from rooms windows you can see the garden with fruit trees.
You can enjoy fresh fruit from the garden everytime you want.
You can borrow the bicycle for free.
Vangelis is realy very good host. He is really very kind, helpfull, friendly, flexible, willing but everything is in balance- he is fully respecting your personal space. He is available 24 hours a day.
15-20 min walking distance is beach with sunbeds and umbrellas for rent and small beach bar. Near is nice Taverna. Beach is with small stones. You can find here another beaches with mix of sand and stones. But these beaches are "wild" and no services are provided there. This is not bad,but good to know:)
It is a wonderful place for spending quite, relaxing, nice time in comfortable apartment with perfect host in beautiful village near the sea.

Nice, modern, spacius and very clean apartment ( living room, kitchen, 2 bedrooms with comfortable beds and two bathrooms) , very friendly and helpful owner Vangelis. He offered us fruits from his garden + also free of charge usage of bicycles. Very nice view on the see from our balcony, aircondition free of charge in all rooms. Nice beach with bar about 1,5 km from accomodation . One small shop +1 supermarket in Pomos. We were very satisfied with our stay.
Small problem was with Wi-Fi signal first day, but quickly solved .

We spent 4 days of a nice, quiet vacation, in the pleasant surroundings of the village of Pomos, near the clear sea. Much appreciated care of our host Vangelis.

I recently had a wonderful stay at JOANNA SUNSET Apartments. Situated in a peaceful location, this place offers a truly tranquil experience. The owner was amiable, making me feel right at home. The nearby beaches were perfect for bathing and fishing, while the garden provided fresh and delicious fruits. The area itself is quiet and uncrowded, with excellent restaurants nearby. If you're seeking a serene getaway with warm hospitality and natural beauty, I highly recommend JOANNA SUNSET Apartments.
While there were rare instances of internet instability, I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly and affordably I resolved the situation using Cyprus's reliable 5G mobile internet services. This minor hiccup in no way diminished the overwhelmingly positive experience I had.

House is very nice and clean. Owner is very friendly and nice to chat with. He gave us a few suggestions for sightseeing and showed us his neighbor's donkey. The garden has a lot of fruits but at the season we arrived at there were only 2 growing.

Very spacious and great views of sea. Owner very pleasant and extremely helpful in fixing a things that needed addressing when we arrived, including replacement of faulty hob. Apartment was very quiet and relaxing, apart from neighbouring donkey and dog who liked to greet any approaching visitors. Plenty of crockery and cutlery and adequate cooking utensils. Very comfy sofas. Plenty of parking space in front of apartment building.
Hot water unreliable - if all flats occupied then hot water soon ran out. wifi signal very weak and also unreliable as it seemed to drop off regularly. TV only picks up Greek Stations. One regularly showed English language programmes with Greek subtitles but sound quality poor so difficult to understand. There was no microwave which would have been handy. Insufficient coat hangers and hanging space as wardrobe and drawers in one bedroom full of owner’s clothes. It almost seemed as though renting out the apartment was a spur of the moment idea - old furniture and need for a bit of TLC to improve the standards. There were no mattress covers and pillows seemed a bit old. Only 1 toilet roll supplied for each flat for a week’s stay and no spare bin bags. There were a few light bulbs missing which made the flat gloomy at night. No full length mirror in the top flat where we stayed. No clear instructions for aircon/heating so had to seek help.

Vangelis is a great host! The view is really nice, it's very quite, the surroundings are great and there's a donkey next to the Veranda. Good location to spend some relaxing time close to the magnificent sea.

Everything. Vangelis the owner is a great man, always ready to help. The position of the appartment with stunning view of the bay, sunsets, gardens with people who love to work, lot of fruits, generous soil, patriotism of people in this part of Cyprus. Pomos is a good place far from the mass tourism which is difficult to avoid in Cyprus coastal regions. The appartment was equiped with everything, A/C in all rooms with interesting system of energy economy, good kitchen, great place for resting with family and host guests. Im very satisfied.

The shower room and the actual shower was so tiny you couldnt move !!
They build huge bedroom and so tiny shower room . The water in shower was NOT going down easy. If the water preassure was higher for sure the water would go out of the shower and could have swim on the floor !!
The 2 TVs was NOT WORKING !!!!
So the PLACE IS NOT provided for more than 1 night .

One of the best accomodations in a long time. The appartment as got everything that you need, is very spacisous. Bed is comfortable and AC is working fantasticaly. Everything was 100% clean and the owner himself is extremely friendly person. Expect to get free home grown fruits ;-) If we are coming back to this part of Cyprus I am definetely staying here again.

The apartment is very clean and tidy. Great owner. Everything we needed was arranged for us. He brought us fresh Mango fruit, Figs for breakfast. He said that from his gardens we can get as much fruit as we want. He took us to a traditional town party, where they watered and fed us. I recommend!

Vangelis is a super friendly and sympathetic host. He did everything to make us feel welcome and at home. We were treated to the fresh oranges from his garden which are some of the most juicy and delicious we have tasted on our journey. The appartments are very spacious and clean and the furniture/interior are new and modern. Every apartment has a private balcony or terrace.
The appartments are located at the edge of the town, up the hill, away from the road so it is really quiet and tranquil - perfect to relax. A roof top terrace offers great view of the coast, hills and houses around and uninterrupted sunshine (if the weather allows).
We stayed in the ground floor appartment which gets the least direct sunlight. In the hot season this might be perfect. In January with little sunshine all around it was a bit too dark for my partner. Vangelis was very accomodating and offered us a flat higher up. So if you are sun lovers or avoiders you might want to choose the floor accordingly ;)

- Nice unexpected bonus: we were encouraged to pick fresh mandarins and oranges right from the trees in front of the property.
