All the amenities you could ask for. Set up for pets including toys for dogs. Close to slopes can walk. Loved it.

The Cardinal’s Nest was a perfect stay! The location was beautiful & pleasantly located near Beech Mountain. Our boys (14 & 12) were able to see snow for the first time & watching them learn to ski, have snowball fights & build a snowman was magical! Carrie made the stay even more magical by having Santa visit prior to our stay, complete with a decorations & a Christmas tree! We were even able to take a 30 minute drive to TN to go on a UTV tour (which I highly recommend). And we found our favorite restaurant right next to Beech, Mile High Tavern. Their food was really good, they had a pool table, giant Jenga, large checkers & a fabulous staff!
Carrie stayed in communication with me prior to our arrival & even checked on us a few days in. We are already talking about our next trip!!

Cardinal's Nest was the perfect place for us to enjoy a week of hiking, relaxing and exploring new places in the NC Mountains. It had everything we needed for our stay and we especially loved the "Whirley Pop" popcorn maker so much, we will need to purchase one for our home. The weather was perfect during the day and cooled down in the evenings a but requiring a jacket to enjoy the deck and beautiful views from the cabin. Carrie was a pleasure and her response was quick with any questions.

This condo is so well done. It had everything we needed down to the shampoo on the wall in the shower. Everything was very clean, bed was super comfortable. We stayed on Beech Mountain the whole weekend and were able to visit a few restaurants and go hiking. There was no need to venture to other towns unless we wanted to.

The property is wonderful! So clean, had great communication with the owners and the welcome book is very helpful. The bed was comfortable and our fur babies even played with the toys they have in a basket available for dogs. The fridge is mini so don’t plan on bringing a bunch of refrigerated items but I’m sure in the winter you could stick things out on the patio! Would definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful time in your lovely get-a-away. My husband is already planning our next visit. I found your condo to be pleasantly well stocked with kitchen utensil/pot and pans. My husband made one comment, and I would tend to agree, the couch is uncomfortable for watching t.v. as there is no head support. I know, the point of being in such a beautiful place is to go outside and explore and we would love to have done just that but it rained, a lot, all day Saturday. Although, we did go out and explore some, had a wonderful lunch and dinner, most of our time was spent watching netflex on Saturday. Other than that, everything was absolutely perfect.

Had a great stay with the wife and dogs for the weekend. Apartment was perfect for what we needed and within walking distance of the resort. Carrie was a great host. We were concerned about getting down the mountain with poor weather coming in and Carrie offered a late checkout or extending our stay for one more night. Thanks again - we’ll be back for sure!

The place was great!. It was stocked with anything imaginable you might need for your stay. Great view! Loved Take a Bottle Leave a Bottle. Parking lot can be a bit tricky.

My wife and I took our son to the area for his first ski trip and this condo’s proximity to the slopes was perfect! And wow, the views…stunning! Property is wonderful and Carrie’s communication with us made it absolutely seamless. Highly recommended.

We had a great time, skiing, tubing, sledding, as far as the condo goes it has everything you could ever need and more, dishes, silverware, kurig, spices, ziplocks, T.P. Paper towels, video games, board games and more… I just wish the parking situation was better, but we managed!! The unit is on the third floor however it’s only one flight of small stair (just because of how it’s placed on the mountain) to the room!! Hopefully we can come back another time!!

What a great stay! The property was clean, great location to Beech Mountain, and absolutely incredible views. The bed was comfortable, bathroom clean, and kitchen fully stocked. The host was amazing and always quick to respond. If we are able, we will be back to stay here again. Thank you for an amazing visit!

We enjoyed our stay that was one street up the mountain from beech mountain resort entrance. While there was a bit of ice and snow, the cars that had AWD, 4x4 or chains did fine. The parking lot for the building is tight, but there is room to turn around at the end.

Great spot for a quick weekend getaway on top of Beach Mountain. Very close to the ski area if traveling during the winter and lunch at Fred’s mercantile is a must.

The cardinals nest is clean comfortable and cozy. The place is well stocked with everything you can think of that you might need or want plus more. Its is not just a cheap rental property but you can tell that it was out together with quality products and it’s meant to be enjoyed . Extra
Touches were even thought of for our furry friends. I would recommend to anyone to stay here and would definitely return . Carrie is an excellent host . Prompt polite and kind . Also we loved the area that it’s located in .

Very cute place for a short weekend in the mountains! I went for a long training run on the trails and then my boyfriend proposed! We loved the view and all of the sweet decor.

Great Nest!
My wife and I along with the little dog really enjoyed our stay at the Cardinal’s Nest. This is a great location for the ski set and for a summer trip away from the Florida heat and humidity. The unit is perfect for a couple with a wonderful deck for watching the sun set up the mountain.
