Exceptional

Nacho was so helpful from start to finish. We arrived very late and he ensured we could check in easily despite this. He communicated with us whenever we needed anything and was there to help within minutes via WhatsApp/ in person. Nacho is a lovely host, the apartment is in an amazing location for everything in the old town and it was perfect for me and my sister! He even let us borrow some parasols for the beach.

Pleasant

Great location, walking distance to all historical sites, center of the city, market, all the restaurants etc, good contact with the owner, he was very responsive

The apartment was obviously a bit run down, bathroom, some floors, doors, dirty furniture walls, water didn't go down in the shower, which lowered the quality of stay in this very potentially fantastic place. The original price 150e per night, is definitely overcharge, we had last minute, genius and mobile price discount, so it was ok but the place need refreshing and repairs

We enjoyed our stay there, but it may not suit everyone

Nice host. He was helpful and texted us intermittently to see how we were getting on. He offered to book a taxi to the airport for us. When it didn't arrive, he drove us there himself. There was space for our young child.

The couch could be more comfortable.

Penthouse not appropriate for young families

Host was lovely

Penthouse advertised as one apartment, but it’s actually the top two apartments linked by a balcony. We had a 5 yr old and a baby, which we couldn’t leave in the second bedroom (as the 2nd bedroom was another apartment) - we wouldn’t be able to hear them call and they could have wandered onto the high balcony Booking.com did not listen to this and refused to help - even though it was unsafe for my family The host was a lovely man and really helpful. He offered us a first floor apartment instead, with a little balcony and a lot noisier given the bars outside. It was however safe, but that’s kind of the minimum you look for, and we paid for more The beds were really uncomfortable and the rooms were noisy. Location was great (which is the cost you pay for the noise). It was safe, and basically just bare minimum Obvious language barrier with the host, which is our fault for being lazy brits, but booking.com were terrible. I would not book through them again, even if they are cheaper

Don't recommend

The location was good for seeing most of the attractions. The layout was good.

Extremely noisy at night, at least when we were there. Noise goes until 5 in the morning. Host demanded I have WhatsApp less than 24 hours before check in. No coffee cups bigger than a thimble. When the hot water finally comes through in the shower most of it runs straight down the wall then some comes out of the filthy shower head. Air con does nothing. No tea towels.

Valencia mini break

The location was great. Bed comfy and shower lovely and hot. Spacious. Lovely friendly host. Sorted out car parking space for us to use which was fab.

Had to rewash cups etc as trusting previous occupiers to have cleaned them. Ours werent clean enough, maybe were fussy? Needs a bit of TLC but otherwise great. No toaster so no toast :(

Central location but average comfort

The location is excellent, and the staff is helpful.

The apartment could use a proper mopping as the floors were not as clean. The sofa is extremely uncomfortable and the bed is OK at best. While the apartment layout is fine, it is obvious that the facilities are starting to show old age.

disappointing, with defects

Poor level of comfort, sub-standard low quality furniture (dining chair defective), very small tv with nothing in any other language than Spanish, unable to stream any services, only a small uncomfortable sofa bed to sit on, weak wifi, water temp turned too low, shower tap fell off, no iron, very few coat hangers for a ten night stay, general lack of generosity in provision for guests paying a high nightly rate. Very disappointed in Booking.com.

great location close to restaurants and walking distance to town

unfortunately 2 nights out of the 5 we had groups of people in the park area below keeping us awake from 2-5 in the morning shouting but not the properties fault

Passable

The apartments are centrally situated. Nice terrac.

The one apartment were actually two. The bathrooms in neither of them provided any privacy at all, they were a part of the apartments, no doors. Our bad luck was to stay here in some cold days and it was very cold insid.

Location was perfect for our little Valencia Vacation 🙂 and great value for money.

Pleasant

In the center of Valencia, perfect location. The Nacho i s vary good host! He allow us to vome at 10:30 am, despide the fact that in the description it is set 15:30pm.

Old and needs repair. It wasn't clean good, the bed wast broken. No coffee machine. In friday and saturdey night it is vary noisy at night, because there is a lot of bars and restaurants cose to the building.

Moto gp weekend

A lady waiting in the apartment when we arrived , then when we arrived back to the apartment on the Sunday our friend had a bottle of perfume missing contacted the owner with no real explanation,the apartment was good needed a bit of TLC won’t be staying again under the circumstances

The host and location were perfect, markets and bars are minute from the apartment. Worth it!

The location was perfect, a 5 - 10 mins walk from the famous attractions. No need to use any kind of transportation, you could just walk and go on foot.

Loved our stay

Great location right in the heart of old town Valencia. Had the top floor to ourselves. Very clean apartment with everything you need. The host met us and got us settled in quickly. He also secured us some parking locally at a good price. Nacho, our host, was a very kind and easy man to deal with. He met us with a warm smile and when we had some personal difficulties later he was more very understanding and helpful

Valencia is a wonderful town and there was nothing I didn't like! Can't wait to go back again. Ant the apartment is in such a great location too

Good place to stay with a friend.

The location is perfect is you want to visit the historical center and if you want to go out at night (to have dinner or to go to the great bars in the area), because it’s close and at the same time sufficiently far not to hear anything while sleeping. The flat has also all the basic equipment you need for a short stay for holidays with friends (except shower and washing and cleaning products). There are two balconies (one sufficiently big to put a small table) with nice views. The host answers quickly, and the checkin and checkout are easy with her.

The flat is not made for 4 persons. There is only 1 double bed (not very comfortable) and 1 sofa bed (click-clac type) old, small and uncomfortable. And there are few amenities (no gel, no shampoo, few toilet paper, few cleaning products, no washing machine products). But the stay was globally ok.

Great location, poor apartment.

The location was good. The host offered to pick us up and drop us off from airport but charged us €25 each way and it would have been much cheaper in a taxi.

The property was dated and the decor was tired (scratches on the floors, walls, bath etc). The mattress in the second smaller room was incredibly uncomfortable and this was raised with the host during the stay. There was a horrible smell of sewers every time you showered or used the air conditioning. Would not recommend to anyone.

Romantic location in old house.

Great location. Cannot be more centrally. Little bit old and it requires some renovation touch. Overall, good experience.

Old property. And pillows... Damn they need softer pillows :) The location ia amazing and it compensates the pillows :)

Perfect place to stay

Apartment was perfect just what we wanted. Great location, comfy beds, hot showers, kitchen had all you need. Balcony was great and Emilia and Nacho were lovely and helpful too! Perfect place to stay

fantastic apartment in central location with 2 balconies to enjoy the sun!

all the basics were there (hand soap, towels, glasses etc), clean and very functional apartment in a great location! all the staff were really friendly and helpful :) heating was a nice bonus as at night temperature dropped! lots of delicious restaurants very nearby.

bed was a little hard but comfortable enough for a few nights. only one pillow each. no washing up liquid included which felt a little tight and silly to buy a new one each time someone stays!
