location is perfect and the property has really good security, I felt very safe

Location. Good wifi.

The room did not have a balcony / terrace (although this is stated in the description). Really low water pressure in the shower. You do not have the opportunity to wash your hair or wash the sand off your feet. It’s a football field right in the front of the room, so it’s really noisy after midnight and early in the morning.

The apartment is very nice. The hosts are very friendly. Everything is close by. It has a/c in the living- and bedroom. The bed is really comfy.

We would love to have known it is very close to a sport field. If the door to the balcony is closed, you won't be disturbed by any sport activities. But if open, it can get a bit noicy.

My wife and I stayed 7 nights, arriving at 2PM, after a 35 km taxi tour of the Pedra Lume Salt Crater from the SAL Airport. Here we met the manager, Wagner, who cheerfully led us up 2 flights of stairs carrying our heavy bag. He gave us a quick tour, turned on the 2 AC units, detailed the secure wifi and the many satellite channels, then took our Visa card payment and gave us the 3 keys. There was liquid soap at the bathroom sink, good hot water, good lighting, lots of outlets, pots for the induction stovetop but none for the microwave. The apt. was cleaned halfway through our stay with new towels/linens. We walked 650m NW to the recommended Cazul supermarket for necessary grocery supplies, returning to a toilet with no water. A call to Wagner, who lives next door, quickly solved the problem. Ditto for a satellite feed problem for the TV. The apartment was secure and quiet aside from nightly soccer games across the street. This new small apartment complex is located at the east end of Santa Maria’s pedestrian street with a mini market and Café Criolo nearby, Cam’s restaurant, the beachfront Odjo d'Agua Hotel(rentable daybeds) 2 blocks south and the Mercado Municipal 3 blocks north.

The weather, power outages and unknowns sometimes make finding a viewable TV channel difficult. Would prefer being closer to the beach and want access to a pool.

Great location near to the beach and main street as well as near some great restaurants. The place is very clean and spacious - would definitely recommend!
