Condo #18 is a 3 Bedroom Lake Villa

The condo was just ok..CONS needs major updates..running toilet..leaking shower..couldn't lock the front door..from the outside. The carpet was very dirty. Dead bugs. PROS great location..good comfortable beds. Nice pools. Good washer and dryer. Beach chairs in the storage area. Not sure I would rent this unit again.

Toilets ran constantly, dishwasher ran part of the time. Aside of the usual rental house issues, the location was amazing and the staff are great as always.

We thoroughly enjoyed layout of the house , the location. We were pleasantly surprised to see the owner has adequate furniture on the Lg. deck below & the two decks above. Especially the hammock & porch swing. We have stayed at another Villa in past two years that was in dire need of it. When we discovered on our 2nd day that drying wasn’t heating, maintenance responded quickly & guest services were helpful to give us another alternative while we were without & compensate us for any expense & inconvenience. As homeowners, We realize these things happen, but felt we were treated fairly. I do have a couple of suggestions....One thing that was very inconvenient for us was the kitchen had no cooking pans at ALL other than a muffin pan. It made it difficult when cooking. Also, the kitchen A/C Return air grate along the wall was REALLY dirty.. also the small deck table on bedroom deck on main floor is rusted & leaning & two of chairs on deck off kitchen has some sharp edges along the front of the seat. One last thing, the bedroom on main floor with the deck & tub bathroom needs a repositioning of the tv cabinet. It is to the side of the bed where you really can’t lay in bed & watch a movie or anything as it’s awkward. These issues can be easily corrected & surely would NOT deter us from renting this Villa again! I only stated these things because I believe it helps for the owners & mgt. to know for future guests. We look forward to our return.

We would love to rent again. The only problem we had was the grill, it was not usable, we love to grill and wasn't able to.

The house we stayed in was clean and had plenty of room for all 6 of us. We loved staying by the pond and feeding the ducks and birds. It was very pretty. However I don’t feel for the money I paid we should have to take our trash to the dumpster or go get our own towels. I went to go get towels and the lady looked at me weird and said well the people aren’t here that usually do this. That is not my problem. All I wanted to do was just exchange them at the window. I walked there from the place I was staying and it was hot that day. It was kinda frustrating. Finally I told the ladies all I wanted to do was exchange what I brought. I started counting them. They finally gave me some. I didn’t like the smell as you walked by certain lodging going to the beach. It had a sewer smell. The people were friendly at the front desk and very helpful.

It was clean, nicely furnished and held 6 of our family members comfortably. The complex is clean, safe, and everyone is so friendly and helpful. The beach is absolutely beautiful, it's really perfect. And, you can't beat the blackened fish sandwich at Ricks Sand Trap!!! I recommend this complex to everyone!! It's a perfect place for a family vacation.

We love this place for it's convenience to bring our boat. We can have our boat in and out of the water in minutes. Awesome dining is within a walk away, as well is the nite life just a short drive. We all have such a great time we have started a trend and will continue to come every year.

Reviewer Comments: A few friends and I were looking for a spot where we could play lots of tennis, hang out at the beach, and eat some good food and this was the perfect place! The location on the property was great — right by some pools, tennis courts, and the delicious restaurant. The beach is only a short walk away. The downstairs porch that overlooks the pond is fantastic too. Constantly shaded and has a comfy hammock. The unit was very spacious and clean with plenty of beds and bathrooms. The only minor complaint would be the lack of a few essentials that we had to go pick up like shampoo and paper towels. The supply of beach chairs/umbrella/toys was great. Definitely recommend the fish tacos at Rick's Sand Trap on the beach as well. Would 100% stay here again.

Probably the best two things were that everyone had a bed and the living space was comfortable and big enough for all of us to hang out after dinner. Some of the outdoor furniture is in need of repair or replacement (a couple of chairs and the swing) and if you like to cook,do bring your own spices as salt and pepper are the only ones here. Otherwise the kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans and baking dishes. It was perfect for our family of 6 adults and 3 kids.

There were plenty of dishes if you choose to cook. The unit had several bed and my family for my family. The only issue we had was that the unit was not very clean. There were hair in the bathroom, in the door and in the tubs. Lastly, were roaches inside the unit, they were located in the kitchen area.

Kitchen was very well supplied with every thing needed to a two months stay. The sofa in the living room was very "tired" and as was the bedrooms' carpet. The bathroom commodes need replacing as well. Nonetheless, we reserved to another two months next year!

Furniture, floors, walls, etc. were cleaned and/or updated. There was some moisture coming through the vents when the air condition was on but, that's normal. Very nice place that my family in the other condo wished they stayed in.

Nobody ever showed up to the actual condo (we were on the porch because we live in Oklahoma and had no where else to go). Amazingly, when I called for the 3rd time, it had "just been inspected" and they were texting me the codes. I paid 2600.00 for 90 hours.....and did not get those 90 hours. Mold in the vents, moldy shower curtains, trash stuck to the rugs. We have always used Sandpiper Cove- reconsidering that decision for next time. Was even told by the girl when I called the 3rd time to find out when we would be given access that she considered putting my call straight to hold but she decided to answer to apologize and let me know my text was coming, but she was super busy with a customer and needed to hang up or put me on hold........REALYY?!?!?!?
