The location was excellent. The apt was comfortable and was well equipped! Train station is about a 5 min walk, buses easy and close to catch, market around the corner, old town a 5 min walk. The size of the apt and the deck was huge. Comfortable furniture! Beds were comfy. Side tables and reading lights.

Gil the host was great, fantastic apartment, great location

Gil (the host) explained about the parking, how to enter the building and how to use everything. the apartment is spacious and bright all day, close to the supermarket and. all amenities. Great location to walk to the beach, caves, old town. Its a 30 minute drive to Sagres and a 30 minute drive to Benagil

This very spacious and sunny apartment was convenient to the marina, the older town center, the beaches and cliffside hiking trails, and two Pingo Doce supermarkets. It also included very convenient and safe underground parking. Meeting and checking in with the owner was easy; he provided a general description of the surroundings, along with a binder that included photos and very thoughtful write-ups about significant historical and cultural features of the region. The decor was modern and clean, and bathrooms included a very generous assortment of towels and toiletries. In addition, the kitchen housed both cleaning and cooking essentials, not to mention plenty of dishes, glasses, silverware, and pots. Over the span of ten days, we were able to cook most of our dinners with ease, in addition to doing a few loads of laundry without having to purchase any laundry soap. The two bedrooms offered generous closet space and hangers, as well as window shades that could be electronically pulled down at night. Also, the wrap-around balcony was exceptionally spacious; unfortunately, it was still winter, so we weren't tempted to dine outside or soak up the rays in the provided lounge chairs.

Although the apartment is smoke-free, the neighboring apartment is not. During our 10-day stay, we could smell cigarette smoke in the hallway, but this did not affect the interior of our apartment. In addition, the $60 cleaning fee was the highest we encountered during our month-long travels throughout the Algarve and Andalusia Spain. Perhaps I could understand if we were a large family with children (and pets).

Portuguese hospitality at it best, not only the host himself is extremely cooperative but also the whole appartment is top notch shape. Location is good , where marina is just yard away and old town is in just minutes walking distance. Highly recommended for families , if available, then dont think twice just book it.

One of the best apartments we have ever stayed

Location (near city centre with plenty of options to eat, short distance to various beaches), spacious and clean apartment with everything you need, private parking in garage, very good bakery downstairs. The apartment felt like home which happens to us rarely. Also, communication with Gil was very easy.

Absolutely fantastic

The apartment had underground parking and was a short walk from the old town and the marina. It was very clean and comfortable with air conditioning in every room. There is a Pingo Doce supermarket very close. Both the double and 2 single beds were very comfortable. The washing machine allowed us to bring less clothing as everything dried quickly on the HUGE wrap around balcony. Wifi was very fast. A 15 or 20 minute walk to the beaches. Also, the bus depot is 2 minutes walk away. Plenty of towels and toiletries ( and beach towels) and washing capsules for both the dishwasher and washing machine. Gil met us at the apartment with the keys and gave us his number for anything we needed( which was not required). We highly recommend this accommodation to anyone

Every thing as described. apartment clean, spacious and in excellent order. Under ground parking with lift that virtually took you to the front door. Wrap around balcony catching sun from morning to evening. Short easy flat walk to town center. Walking distance to supermarket. (PINGO DOCE) has just about everything . My flight was altered by airline meaning my earliest arrival 11.30PM. Host agreed and was waiting. Easy to contact on WhatsApp. Whole experience could not have been better,,, maybe a couple of sun loungers on the terrace would have been nice.

Oustanding in every way.

Super clean and comfortable. The location across from the marina and close to the historic center is superb. Bonuses - a huge wrap around terrace, underground parking, and a washing machine. Host Gil was responsive immediately, kind, and helpful. We loved our time in Lagos and this apartment.

A fantastic place for vacation.

Large apartment, impeccably clean, tastefully furnished. A warm greeting from the host, who awaited us. Large balcony around the apartment, overlooking marina and the old city (south+west side) with table and chairs/sun loungers - it's so big you could even ride a bike on it. The bed is large, medium hard - very comfortable for us, but it's a matter of taste. The kitchen is small but packed up to the roof with everything you can need, including all the spices, olive oils and Dolce Gusto pods to make your first coffee. Shops, restaurants, railway and bus terminal - all within walking distance. Large Pingo Doce nearby. City bus stop right at the next building. Total silence at night, but it was off season. We had a wonderful time here, thank you.

Very small shower enclosure. It just doesn't match such a large apartment. But there's a bath/shower in the second bathroom, so it's not a big deal.

This apartment was perfect for a stay in Lagos.

This is an entire apartment. It is very large, maybe 900-100 square feet. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, lots of closet and drawer space. The kitchen is small but very updated, with nice appliances. Squeaky clean everywhere. Tons of natural light from the large windows and wraparound balcony. Comfortable furniture. We had a long stay here, and were very happy with this choice. You can easily walk to Pingo Doce for groceries, across the marina there are bars and restaurants, and you can walk to the old city center in 10 minutes. If you rent a car, there are two parking spaces underneath the building. The bus station is very close, which was great for when we left for Lisbon. The host is very nice and helpful.

loving Lagos

The apartment was large, clean, bright and very comfortable. Parking in a garage was nice since we did not need our car during most of the visit. Check in was a breeze and we were met by Gil and given lots of information. The kitchen was well stocked so we didn’t have to buy little things. The beaches are truly spectacular even in the winter. Wide stretches of golden sand and soaring cliffs.

Lovely home away from home

Absolutely fantastic spacious apartment that was very airy, light and clean as well as convenient. Our stay was incredibly comfortable and we will definitely wish to stay again whenever we visit Lagos in future. Great location as it is only a short walk to the marina, old town and nice beaches. Bonus is the nice view of the marina from the spacious wrap-around balcony.

Great location, good view from the balconies, nice bright modern apartment with all the facilities. Good free parking and lift up from garage, very helpful host.

Kitchen is a little small, but if you're not cooking a banquet it's fine.
