A lovely beach style week at Arcadia.

A nice neat compact apartment in a fantastic location just above the beach at Sandy Bay. It has a beach and sea view out of every window. We were met at the airport by the lovely helpful agent and at the end of our week collected and taken back. The owner of the property must be a really nice person there is everything in the apartment you could possibly need even if you have forgotten something for your trip! A really comfortable double bed with hotel style linen and nice pillows. There is a nice lounge with tv and a double sofa bed as well. There was some noise while we were there from another apartment being worked on but I'm sure this was temporary. It is a short step down some stairs to get onto the beach itself which is a lovely clean beach. You can hear the sea from the apartment all day. We went swimming in the sea almost every day. It has a private veranda where you can sit and watch the sunset and a large side terrace with table and chairs for sunbathing and has a little barbecue. It's a couple of bus stops into the town and the bus stop is nearby and buses frequent. It's a short taxi ride if you prefer that. We were sorry to leave after our week was up and would love to visit again. One thing to mention is that there are about 4? flights of stairs to reach the main entrance and carry luggage so worth considering if this might be difficult for you.

Single mum with 3 kids stayed for a wedding.

This apartment is in a beautiful location right on the beach. Waking up to the sunrise over the beach was amazing and going to sleep with the sound of the waves. The apartment was just what we needed, for myself and 3 children. We loved the outdoor seating area where could sit and relax in the sunshine. The agent was very helpful and was a lovely touch getting picked up and dropped off at the airport as with kids it was one less hassle. The beach is lovely and clean. Ample sleeping space for all of us. We really enjoyed our stay here.

We struggled a little with the distance from the main part of the island. For a single mother and 3 children it was hard work getting in the bus to go get groceries water milk etc. I think it would be so much better if there was a little shop nearby. My 2 youngest children are 3 and 6 so wouldn't walk all the way to morrisons for groceries. All the bars and restaurants are a bus or taxi ride away also. So I spent quite a bit on transport in taxis and buses. Also the stairs down to the apartment are hard work when you have a lot of luggage. Like I said with 3 kids it was hard. I had 2 large cases and a small case so on my own had to carry them up and down the stairs. It does state on the description there are stairs but I didn't anticipate there being so many and with kids made it more hard work.

First time to Gibraltar and the best location I have ever had for a Villa

location excellent, facilities very good, staff assistance excellent.

Well beyond our expectations, excellent communications from the owner, would stay here again

WE were met by Josie at the airport and transferred to Arcadia The apartment is right on the beach, well equipped, clean and comfortable We would stay here again Trip into town was a 5 min walk to the bus stop then about 10 mins on the bus. Busses ran about every half hour until 9pm

As the description says there are 53 steps down to the apartment from the road, if you are not able bodied give this some thought The location is on the east side of the rock, most of the activities were on the west side which meant a 45 min walk or a bus ride The bud drivers got to know us after a couple of days

Relaxing, comfortable and will definitely return!

Beautiful location, bed is the comfiest we’ve ever slept in! Apartment is clean and tidy, spacious and sliding windows that you can open and take in the beautiful view. Well equipped kitchen area with washing machine and dishwasher.

The location was amazing and the facilities were good

The constant smell in the bathroom was awful. I believe this is due to local water amenities The regularly used items like duvets and pillows need replacing

Book at the earliest or you will miss a great stay .

We liked everything ,from the collection at the airport by josie winks and taken to bothworlds , was like walking in a home from home everything is in there then some more . The view is stunning hearing the sea lap the shore at night you can't beat the relaxation from the accommodation, bus stop number 4 outside or walk towards town a bus stop numbers 4 and 8 . Everything you could want from a holiday that starts at bothworlds and never stops enjoy Gibraltar your way ive been going over 10 years and bothworlds is above and beyond anywhere I've stayed will be looking at next year soon as it will book up fast thank you for the help in making this holiday work Carol brilliant from start to finish . Dave .

Perfect for those who want to be on the beach, even when you're on your patio! :)

Right on the beach! :) Working oven, hob, refrigerator, dishwasher, and tumble dryer are perfect for longer stays. Nice private patio. Has bathtub and shower. Owner was kind, sweet, and easy to deal with.

House was musty smelling and needed to be aired out for a couple days, and bedding required washing to smell nice. A fair amount of weathering and wear, understandable due to ocean proximity, and humidity. Ivan wasn't reliable.

Fantastic!

We came to Gibraltar for our wedding and were so happy with our choice of accommodation. The location is perfect; right on the beach, it’s very cozy and spacious inside and the host was really helpful - she helped us with the wedding paperwork. The booking included transfer to and from the airport which was really helpful. 100% recommend.
