The view from the room was great. The room was quiet. I had to prompt the manager to get check-in details, but that was handled. The room was missing some cleaning supplies for the requested checkout procedure and the supply of TP was low. Those were minor inconveniences that didn't prevent a great stay. I would suggest a power strip be added near the nightstand on the right bedroom because the plug is hard to get to behind the mattress with the plastic shield.

We had a wonderful vacation with family and friends. Beds slept really well and had the best view we could have ever ask for. The weather was awesome and had a great time in the jacuzzi and lazy river. Will definitely recommend for family and friends traveling to the area.

This property was clean and convenient to a lot of stores and restaurants. Maybe the mattresses could be a little newer, but I loved the fact that there were 4 of them and we all had our own bed.

12th floor Location in south tower was lovely. Two blocks north of Main Street in North Myrtle Beach. We arrived a couple hours early and learned Avista resort had not received notification of our reservation from VRBO. This was quickly rectified by the owner and we were able to get into the condo an hour before check in! Thank you! Kitchen was well equipped. Drip coffee system and keurig were both available for our use. All four beds are pillow tops which I found perfect, but others in our group felt they were a bit too soft. There isn’t a washer/dryer in this unit. Towels and wash cloths are provided. There is a laundry facility on the fourth floor. We did not use it. There are a few sand chairs and an umbrella which was wonderful to have!

The Avista property has seen better days, but what you are paying for is oceanfront, ocean view, and a quick walk to the beach. The condo we stayed in could not be considered “luxury” by any definition. But, I might stay at Avista again, just for the reason of location, even though I’m accustomed to staying in nicer properties.

The condo is very nicely decorated and spacious- many beach condos have tiny bedrooms/bathrooms but not 1222 Avista! The kitchen has everything you need if you choose to cook some meals in - though we really enjoyed the onsite restaurant which had delicious food at very reasonable prices. The beds are very comfortable. The kids greatly enjoyed the indoor/outdoor pools and lazy rivers- as well as the golf cart rides over to/from the parking deck across the street. The Avista was very well staffed and the location is right at a life guard stand which was reassuring since the ocean was very rough/choppy while we were here. We will definitely return to this condo for our next family beach trip.

We loved everything about our stay except the amount of towels. There was 4 adults and 4 kids (ages 3-5) and we only received enough towels for each person to have 2 for the 6 day stay and 1 wash clothes each for 6 days. Very disappointed in this but not enough not to regret our stay. Just wish it was listed that there was limited towels provided.

I would highly recommend this property & resort. We were here for softball week w/ or daughter who team was also staying at the Avista this was there second year staying there..... I have been coming to Myrtle Beach from Delaware since 1977... favorite vacation spot .. This was our first time at this resort... I was very impressed with the over all cleanliness , helpful , & friendly staff. I would differently stay here again 5 stars ....

The condo was very clean and quiet. The beds were comfortable, with plenty of pillows and blankets. There were also plenty of towels for 5 people and the kitchen was stocked with everything you would need. Unfortunately, the exterior of the building was being painted during our stay which prevented us from using the balcony, and the equipment and heavy plastic blocked our ocean view from the condo. I understand maintenance has to be done during the off season and the owner has no control over it, but we were just unaware, and that was quite disappointing. I’m sure it will look nice when it’s finished. Overall, it was a great condo, but this experience was not what we had in mind.

This condo was very nice and suited our needs. The only problem we had was there was painting going on and the balcony was taped up with plastic which obstructed the beautiful view of the beach/ocean which is why we chose this ocean from property. Of course I understand this is not the fault of the Homeowners and if we stay again I will ask that question. Otherwise it was very clean and neat. The Owner was VERY responsive and that was a huge plus since I hadn’t booked through VRBO before. I would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful girls weekend! Shannon was super helpful and responsive. We had a slight issue with check in but she was available and fixed it right away even though it was around 10pm. The room was clean and super spacious. You can’t beat the view and everyone at the hotel was friendly.

It was a lovely spacious room, plenty of room for all 7 of us. Check in was a little difficult, not host’s fault but resort itself. Had a minor issue with cleanliness but host was right on top of it. Would definitely recommend and would definitely book with host in the future.

Room looked just as the pictures, very nice and clean and had a beautiful view from the 12th floor. Shannon and Daniel were always very quick to respond and were very helpful and very nice. Hotel staff were very nice and hotel was clean. Would recommend!!
