Don't recommend to choose this property for winter time

The position of the apartment and the apartment itself is beautiful, same as described.

It was veri cold.(12°C when we arrived and in 14 hours the temperature raised to 19°C which wasn't comfortable at all during the night) For optimized costs they use a hotel system, the electricity of the apartment and the heater are working by a magnetic card as in a hotel room. The problem is that the sealing it's very high and all the apartment have only marble and hardwood floors so the heater needs a long time to warm up the entire place. Also if you leave the apartment you are obligated to take the card with you because it's stick together with the key. The host tried to be nice and cover up the real problem telling us that for sure it's a problem with the heating system that they didn't have before, but that was not true because the heaters were super hot. The real problem is that the space is too big to be heated fast. He gave me someone's phone number to come and check what the problem is... We were there for one night with a 5 year old kid after a 14 hours flight, the only thing we wanted it was a warm, clean place to take a hot shower and get rest. For the money we paid we got just a flu...

Magnifique appartement !!!

Très bel appartement moderne , très grand et parfaitement bien chauffé !!! À 20 mètres du Métro + tram, magasin Coop à 10 mètres, petits restaurants pas chers et boucherie à proximité....

Nous avons tout apprécié tout était parfait ! Rosa et moi comptons relouer l'appartement l'année prochaine.

Superbly situated, great value & comfortable apartment

Really spacious and comfortable apartment. So much space for two of us, so would house four very comfortably. Impeccably clean, towels & toilet roll was provided. It’s situated right near to a Metro stop, and there’s a co-op conveniently next door as well. Communication with the owners was superb. They were always on hand to answer any questions, and sent great videos so we knew exactly where to go, and some great suggestions on what to do in Budapest. Highly recommend & we’d definitely stay here again 😀

This is more of a suggestion than a dislike, but another sofa in the lounge area would be good.

Had a great, comfortable and trouble-free stay at this highly recommended property.

Great communication from the owner who provided timely details about the property which is HUGE, with lovely artwork and modern design, and was very quiet. I have stayed more centrally in Budapest, but the location was absolutely ideal for my purposes being in walking distance to MVM dome. The metro stop for line 3 is literally just outside which takes you directly and quickly into the centre, and the tram line 2M is a two minute walk away which takes you along the Danube to the centre. Line 3 is undergoing renovation at the time of writing (and has been for quite some time) but the replacement bus service is also just outside and equally efficient. This property is highly recommended.

Exceptional

The apartment is amazing with great style even with comfortable beds, large bathrooms and stylish functional kitchen with all amenities. Our host is an amazing person where he is happy to inform about every detail. We spent three days in beautiful Budapest with my family and we want to visit again. Thank you very much for everything.!!

Noise from the street, no shades in the big room so too much light in early morning. Bed was squeaking badly.

Very well presented , huge apartment in easy reach of the city centre.

Very spacious and well presented. A very comfortable place to stay. Very good communication with the owner Easy to get into the city centre, plenty of good restaurants and bars in easy walking distance

Carving/bread knives needed in the kitchen plus a larger coffee maker and a toaster would have been welcome Bedside tables would also be a good addition.

The largest apartment in Budapest!

The apartment is unique and enormous, located in a beautiful old building. Two separate bedrooms and two bathrooms make it ideal for two couples, while large kitchen allows for comfortable meals. Paintings and decoration give a nice atmosphere. Good location near to metro and trams, nice view from windows. Parking on the street was sometimes possible, but we found a low priced parking lot within 20 minutes walk. Parking is easy with the PARKL app. Public transport is free for 65+

The entrance, stairs and balconies leading to the apartment are in need of renovation. There is a lift, but very old and in rather poor condition. The apartment requires some improvements and repairs: squeaky bed, no nighttables, bedlamp or electric socket next to bed. Top shower head needs repair (second shower head does work). A maize of central heating pipes in the bathroom should be covered, rather than have a flower pot placed in from of it. Host provided all necessary information, but requires the use of whatsapp, which may not be convenient for everyone.

Superb

Great host, perfect location close to metro/bus, decent supermarket round the corner. The flat is very spacious and has A/C in some rooms making the stay very comfortable. Two bedrooms. Great for even longer stays in Budapest.

Kichten equiment is missing - just one wine glass, several plates, old pots, 1 broken knife etc. That's the only downside - everything else was perfect.

Huge, lots of space and toilets for 4 people. All amenities catered for. Really interesting building (we’d love to know what it was originally) and felt really comfortable. Easy to get to and from anywhere as on metro route from airport bus and metro route to town. Absolutely ideal.

Take some flip flops or indoor shoes as if the floor gets any water on it, it is very slippy! Not something we didn’t like just a piece of advice.

The apartment was easily accessible from the airport. It was also easy to travel from the apartment to the city. The apartment is spacious. There is a shop on the ground floor of the building which is open 24 hours a day, so we were able to buy food for breakfast when we arrived late in the evening.

While the apartment's floors, bathrooms and bed linen were clean, the kitchen lacked tidiness - the cupboards were stained and sticky, and all dishes had to be washed before use. When we arrived did we find a woman's pad dropped on the floor in one of the bathrooms and underwear lying around in the waredrobe of one of the bedrooms, which was a bit of a downer as the cleanliness of the apartment was rated 10.

Had an excellent stay at Penthouse in the Castle

The property was very clean and spacious. Very good facilities. 2 huge bedrooms and 2 great sized bathrooms. Kitchen had everything you would need fridge/freezer, kettle. Great location for public transport. Supermarket next door, off licence and local food shops around the corner. The whole place was great for what we needed.

The placement of the bed is such that you hear traffic from the street as well as the bed is up against a radiator causing your head to be hot.
