We stayed here for a few days prior to cruise out of Charleston. It was a great location for exploring the area. It was perfect accommodations for what we needed.

My daughter and I stayed for her 13th birthday trip. This house was located halfway between Folly beach and downtown. It made for easy drives to shopping or our beach days. It was a very safe area and quiet at night. The nearby grocery stores and restaurants provided quick access to what we needed.

We were in Charleston for 4 nights, primarily to see one of our favorite performers in concert, but also to tie-in a little site seeing. This place and location worked great for our short stay. Communication was excellent with the owners prior to the stay and everything from check-in to check-out was very smooth.

The palce was perfect for me and my wife for a get away.

From moment we arrived we knew this was place for us to spend our anniversary. It was as described clean bed was comfortable to the table and chairs outside just a perfect place to sit and enjoy. Check in process was great and room was ready when we arrived

My husband and I stayed here for our 1 year anniversary trip and it was perfect! The place itself is very cute and was perfect for just the two of us. It was located in the perfect spot being only about 20 minutes from the beach depending on traffic and 15 minutes from downtown. We would definitely stay here again!

She was incredibly welcoming & helpful; providing local tips to make our overall experience fantastic. The location was perfect- close to both the beach & downtown. The property had everything we needed. It was very quiet, in a neighborhood with private parking. We Highly recommend this property & its host to others. We will be back!

Had a great time. Everything was as listed. Clean and safe place. Items for beach and outdoors were available but we were there for a few history and food tours in April so we didn’t partake in those amenities. The place has all you need so book it and enjoy!

Worked out well, close places to eat Martins BBQ & Gillies Seafood you can't go wrong. Outdoor chair furniture cushions need replacement.

Kit’s place was exactly as described. A cute little place for a couple with everything you could need. It was very clean, comfortable and safe. The drive to Charleston was extremely easy and only 10mins to the Historic District. I highly recommend walking over to Martin’s BBQ and having dinner there. We can’t wait to come back to Charleston and stay with Kit again.

This was great! For a young, college student who loves to travel, I was able to purchase this and explore a beautiful part of South Carolina. It was the perfect size, with everything that was needed (cooking utensils). The owner left typed-out instructions/introductions/suggestions! When I make another trip to SC, I'll be booking with her again!!

My husband and I enjoyed our 6 night stay on James Island. Kit had the place well stocked with everything we needed, and she was very communicative and concerned that all was well with our stay. We were pleasantly surprised how close we were to everything, especially downtown Charleston. So we went there often. The place was a cozy, comfortable home base to get out and see all of the area. We thought the place was wonderful. It was a perfect size for 2 and it was exactly as listed. The location was good for going different directions. Most of our event was downtown so we took an Uber as parking is kind of difficult in Charleston. We would have loved being closer to town in the same little place.

Everything was as advertised. Nice launching point for historic district, North Charleston, John's island, Mount Pleasant and Folly Beach.

We have stayed here several times and it is just perfect for us. Ideally situated just off the main road on James Island which is Folly Road, easy drive to the beach, easy drive into Charleston, lots of restaurants from fast food to fine dining and everything in between. The unit itself is comfortable and cozy but with all the amenities you need...greaat place to stat!

Property is is good location if you want easy access to Folly Beach area or to go into Charleston (less than 15 minutes). Good place to stay for two if you plan on going out most of the day. If your looking for something real close to beach this may be further than you want but still less than 10min.

Kit was really easy to work with and her communication with us was excellent. Her document that recommended places to go and places to eat was really helpful and we tried several recommendations like Lost Dog Cafe, Bowens Island Restaurant, and Martins BBQ next door to us. All of those restaurants served absolutely delicious food. The Lil Place was a perfect home base for us during our first trip for Charleston. Near downtown and near the beach for a very reasonable price. It was perfect for our 2 person getaway. Thank you for having us!

Small as pictured. Bed comfortable. Quiet although close to busy street.

Kit was such a great host. Had a few slight problems that they handled quickly and effectively. Unfortunately we had to leave early due to hurricane Ian and they were so understanding. The property is really just like the pictures and the location is great.

Inside was cute clean comfortable and we equipped. I am anatural light person and when I opened the blinds was rathershocked at how dirty the windows were. Such a contrast to interior cleanliness.

From start to finish, Kit was excellent! She was very prompt and even allowed us to get into the rental early. You can’t ask for more in this rental. It comes with everything you can think of and the location is super convenient! Definitely would stay again!
