Nestled in Calabash, this attractive condo for $208 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Enjoy the comfort of this condo located on ground level with a great view of the 2nd green of Oyster Bay Golf Links. The condo is pet friendly (small dogs under 35 lbs) with a non-refundable pet fee per pet and up to 2 dogs allowed. The floor plan features adjoining dining/kitchen and living areas with two large sets of sliding glass doors and large windows to enjoy a scenic view of the golf course and property grounds. The kitchen is fully-equipped and the dining area has a table for four with a raised bar offering additional seating for four. An outdoor patio accessible from the living room area is the perfect spot to enjoy relaxing after a day on the beach or the golf course. Watch golfers test their putting skills on the green and observe the native coastal wildlife. The condo has wireless Internet and three televisions (streaming service only using your own accounts/Guest Mode) with a DVD player in the living room for entertainment value. There are two bedrooms and two full baths. The master bedroom is equipped with 2 Queen beds and the front bedroom with 2 Queen beds. The front bedroom has a private screened porch area with sliding glass door access. The condo has central heat & air along with a large ceiling fan in the central area for comfort in every season .A front laundry room has a full-sized washer and dryer available for guest use. I was surprised how big the condo was! More than enough space for family of 4! Kitchen dishes and cookware well stocked and many family games to enjoy. Nice quiet community—6 minute drive to beach, over the bridge and 6 minute drive to Calabash for all the restaurants you could want!

This unit is exceptionally clean. Very comfortable. Nicely decorated. TV's in bedrooms and all lights are labeled which was a plus. Kitchen stocked with all you need. My only complaint is that there is damage to the screen on the slider, and the landscaping right outside the patio area needs attention. Its washed out. It's a five minute drive to the beach and restaurants. I would definitely stay again.

Overall the condo was decorated very modern and was cute. The bathrooms yes, are very dated but the kitchen was more modern. Bedrooms were nice as well, mattresses in master were very firm but hey that happens in many places. It was so nice to be on ground floor. I will say the reviews about the cleaning and the insects are true. They aren't roaches however, they are water bugs since it is near a pond, but there were some dead in living room and bathrooms which if it was truly cleaned before we arrived, they wouldn't have been there dead. So that bothered me. The other thing is that, like others, the management company tried to change our check out to 9am which is insane! I pointed out my contract said 10am and that it will be that time. They agreed to it but said they couldn't confirm I could check in at the agreed upon time of 4pm it could be 5pm. That is insane, I was paying for literally an evening. They said I would be notified when it was ready. So I went at 5:00pm to get the pool key and the management firm said that it had already been cleaned for "awhile". I could have checked in an hour sooner and I told them I wasn't ever told. I know that staff is scarce with vendors but at least be sure to tell people they can check in at the time on the contract.

Communication on where to take the trash was not made clear, we had to ask other guests. We also tried to get into the pool and we had no idea we needed a card to do so. Again, communication was poor.

The unit 1-a in Colony Place we stayed seemed to be decorated and newer furniture. But I expected some bleaching, cleanly aroma and just an overall cleansing expectation especially being a condo and not a hotel. It looked like it was cleaned ‘just enough’ to pass initial inspection.
I ran into other occupants in other buildings who’s rooms were worse.
Management took complaint- but didn’t apologize. They didn’t even try to compensate, or make an attempt to give excuses or reasons for issues. She did not seem to be bothered by said complaints; maybe she gets this a lot?! Checkout needs to be adjusted. There were emails and sign in condo saying 10AM. Then I received a text that said 9AM. I do not think we should have to check out that early ESPECIALLY when we can’t check in until 4PM.
For the cheap rates- I guess it’s true you get what you pay for. I think there is just minor problems that can be easily solved. I hope they listens and adhere to better standards in the future.

Shower curtain covered with mold. Windows so dirty you could not enjoy the view. Carpet spotted and not too clean. Too many bugs, including roaches. Very poor lighting.

The condo was very nice, roomy, had everything we needed. Beds were comfy and very close to Sunset Beach and Calabash. Loved sitting on the patio and watching the golfers on the green. Great vacation !! and the price was perfect :)

My family and I enjoyed our stay but we did see a few roaches and spiders in the bedrooms and bathrooms. The porches had lots of spider webs and were not clean. We could hear the people walking in the unit above us which was really annoying.
