This upgraded “top floor” condo off of Alii Drive has everything you need to enjoy your time on the Big Island of Hawaii! This condo features a full kitchen and full bathroom with beautiful granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. There is a King sized Bed, plenty of seating in the living area, flat screen TV, complimentary Wi-Fi, plus a lanai with outdoor seating and ocean views. You will be able to enjoy the cruise ships docked in the bay from the lanai. There is Air Conditioning to help cool off from the tropical sunshine after your Hawaii excursions. The property is equipped to make it easy for beach adventures with plenty of beach towels, beach chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, snorkeling gear, noodles, coolers and more. The Kona Shores condominium complex has an ocean-front pool with a cabana, two bathrooms and a charcoal grill for barbecuing. It is the perfect location to hang out and soak up the Hawaii sun and watch the gorgeous Kona sunsets. You can possibly spot the famous 'Green Flash” at sunset as the sun sets behind the horizon. The Kona Shores is a popular location for visitors due to its close proximity to beaches and to the heart of Kailua-Kona with restaurants and shopping right along the water’s edge. Some of the activities you can find on the Kona Coast include beaches, luau’s, farmer’s markets, art galleries, jewelry shops, restaurants, boating, snorkeling, scuba diving, surfing, boogie boarding, and deep sea fishing; just about every water sport you can think of! There are also several great golf courses nearby. With so much to do this condo makes a perfect home base to relax after all of your vacation adventures or you can just have a relaxing day lounging by the pool. There are rent-able bikes available across the street from Kona Shores. There is an assigned parking space and laundry facilities that are compatible with the PayRange laundry facility app. No smoking, no pets. **All guests are required to sign a rental agreement with Property Manager Property Management in addition to purchasing a Damage Protection Plan or providing a Security Deposit if they stay at this property. I had a very nice time at this condo unit. The condo was overall excellent except that the dvd player did not work.

Nice Place to stay
It was a good stay. The bed was comfortable. The only thing I wish they had was cleaning supplies. I hate when you don’t have a broom or cleaning supplies to keep a clean space.

I was very happy with this property, in fact, this is our second stay here. Very impressed with the high end linens and all of the beach toys available. Will definitely stay here again.

Kona Shores #219 was a lovely well cared for updated suite. We had everything we needed and the management company was welcoming and helpful with our requests.

Our Stay on the Big Island in Sept 2022
Overall it was a nice stay. Close to the downtown Kona area. They had some things that you could take to the beach like umbrellas, chair, ice chest. The only issue I had was the lock on the front door. The key used was very challenging. The crazy thing was, on the check in list, it talked about that being hard to open and it was. I was stuck outside for about a 1/2 hour...not what you want to do on vacation. We finally gave up and pulled the screen off the window and my wife was able to insert the key from the inside of the room door and open the front door. The prop. mgmt. told me they would replace the lock....but something you don't want to mess around with on vacation. Other than that, it worked for us fine....

Lovely stay
The Kona Shore apartment was very clean, and had everything we needed for our trip. It was close the the Kona trolley for town access. The views are spectacular and the pool was quiet for most of the days we visited.
We truly appreciate the gift bag & that Heather met us upon arrival and explained everything.
The AC was a bit loud for my partner, but it was more white noise for me.
Would certainly use the property management for a future trip.

Vacation rental
The rental was perfect for my granddaughter and myself. It was well stocked with kitchen gear and as a bonus lots of beach accessories. The management was very responsive and flexible. I will stay there again next trip. Location was great. Easy access to some great beaches as well as downtown. The pool was a nice touch and my granddaughter used it nightly

Great location and price....but
This Condo is well stocked for everything you need for cooking, the beach and the location is great. The bathroom vanity is extra tall with a vessel sink. I'm 6ft and it was awkward for me. My gal is 5'3" and it was difficult for her. The starter kit for supplies is just that. Staying 1 day or 8 you get the same amount, so you need to bring your own TP, Shampoo and paper towels.

A condo with everything!
This condo was so beautiful with its beachy/Hawaiin decor. The bed was cozy, and we had everything needed for a wonderful vacation, including dishes to cook with and beach toys to play with. I appreciated the assigned parking spot close to the condo, and finally the perfect view of the water seeing the ships take sail really made this trip very special

unit was beautiful! everything was clean. property management communicated well and provided a nice welcome package for us. gas stove was very nice with plenty of pots and pans for cooking up fresh meals. nice view from the lanai. pool area is nice and perfect spot for sunset pictures (its on the ocean). plenty of beach gear which is a big plus (body boards, chairs, umbrella, snorkel, igloo, towels etc). parking is easy and close. would certainly stay here again.

Very nice unit with ocean view, well kept and centrally located in the Kailua Kona area. In the condo was fruit, nuts and candies waiting for us which was unexpected.

Beautiful condo!!!!
We come every 2 years and rent a condo. This place did not disappoint. It was super clean, nicely decorated, and had all the things we needed for the beach. They had 4 Tommy Bahama beach chairs, boards, hard cooler, masks and even an umbrella to take to the beach among other things we didn’t use. Which is so nice bc when you have to rent them, it starts adding up. The condo is a short drive from downtown which is perfect bc it’s a quick drive but also not so busy. The area is pretty quiet and they had a nice laundry area to wash cloths. They even had an app on the machines so we didn’t have to worry about changing our cash for a bunch of quarters! They were super responsive to any questions we had and we would def rent this condo again!!!!

Wonderful, relaxing, and great location
The property was as described and better, very comfy with a full kitchen and very clean. The management of property provided very prompt responses to questions I had. Very good customer service. I would highly recommend this property to those who want a good view of the ocean without being directly Oceanside. Could actually hear the waves. My favorite restaurant in Kona is Huggo"s on the rocks. Very fun.

Great experience. Blake Kessner is a wonderful realtor. I actually ended up buying a place in Kona. Blake is no knowledgable. As for Kona Makai, it was fine. Don't choose the 3rd floor if you don't like stairs.

The condo was impeccably clean and well equipped. Everything you could wish for in a rental property. Property management team was in touch and attentive to all details.

Beautiful location and nice view, poor management office
The rental was very clean with modern updates and a nice view of the ocean just past the other buildings from our balcony! We did have issues with parking there are multiple parking spot numbers but and to obtain clarification as to which spot was ours was a nightmare. On site management office is slow to return calls and is not available during posted open hours. Other than that we had a wonderful time and I would recommend this condo.

It's about time!!
FINALLY! A great place to stay without breaking the bank! I was hesitant upon check in due to the price. I opened the door and immediately smiled. This place was clean, bright, and decorated with cute classy furniture.The beach towels are big and fluffy and the bath towels were plentiful. I know these are small things but these things are what makes the difference. The oceanfront pool is relaxing and the location is close to town.I would tell my friends to stay here and I to will return.

Just what we were looking for!!
We are frequent guests to the island of Hawaii and were looking for a place we could return to again and again without breaking the bank. We found it. This place is adorable and is priced extremely well. The unit is very nicely furnished and has everything you need for comfort. The bed is a large King and has nice bedding and is very comfortable. This unit has big soft towels and plenty of them. It is very obvious that there was alot of care in selecting these items. These are the extra touches I was looking for. I have found my happy place.

A perfect escape.
What a great find! This adorable place is perfect to escape the hustle and bustle of the real world. Check in was easy, furnishings are new and updated and unit has everything you could want or need. The pool is oceanfront so much time was spent watching the waves there.I will be back and will tell my friends about this great little find. A super good value for your dollar.
