Ordinary room resort great

The resort

The room 1227 was very ordinary advertised as garden view and 742 sq feet lucky to be 300sq ft. Deception at its best. View of restaurant roof and distant parkland. Poky little room no windows sliding door to balcony had no flysceen. No seating in room. Freezer iced up, no drinking glasses. Should be removed off booking.com as way below expectations and not as advertised. Would of asked for money back if could. Resort was good as stayed there before.

Location, beautiful beaches and parklands. Food venders excellent variety

Starting to age a little flooring and walls require refurbishment. Staying on level 2 the people staying on level three where noisy during the night and the sound easily transferred through the flooring material

The most relaxing holiday in a fantastic location.

It was clean and comfortable and exactly what we needed. Great Location everything was right there.

Just the uncomfortable sun loungers on the balcony.

Disappointed and wouldn’t stay again

Clean and comfortable

Dishwasher and cooker not working so despite taking good to cook breakfast at least was unable to, letting agents notified straight away. Told someone would be there to put right but nothing! Having paid $220 a night I’m very disappointed! Would appreciate someone sort of compensation?!

Disappointed as 10 yrs ago we remembered as being much nicer

Not many redeeming features unfortunately

Old, not maintained, unclean, broken air conditioner, broken blinds, difficult accessing and moving luggage around.

Great place to stay.

The location was excellent. Great swimming pools and so close to the beach. Small cluster o restaurants and cafes around the corner. Would definitely stay there again.

Book with Mantra direct only

The hotel is amazing. Please make sure you book direct with mantra. DO NOT book through 3rd party like hotel management co where you pick up key to room in main street. We were given wrong room then were told I booked wrong room even after I provided a screenshot truth. I had to really get angry to get my correct room and I was treated terrible by this private company. Mantra staff wonderful I should have booked with them direct.

The Hotel management Co that we booked through. Do not do it book through them. Only book with Mantra directly.

Solo stay

Location to the beach. Pool. Snack and drinks bar. Varied food outlets and other shops on site

The actual stay was great once the mix up was sorted

When we arrived we were given keys to our apartment but it turned out to be a studio apartment instead of a one bedroom apartment that I had booked and paid for . Therefore had to ring property agent and tell what I had booked and had comfirmation of and they had allotted the wrong apartment this was very frustrating. They eventually found an apartment but a lot of time was wasted

It was adequate

It was in a great location

The outdoor furniture was old and mismatched and there was no table, also no tea bags, also getting in was difficult as we didn’t have a key to get into the underground car park so had to back up and walk almost to the extreme end of resort to retrieve the key ( communication wasn’t good)

It was fine.

Location, access to cafes & restaurants.

The electronic safe didn't work (reported). The exterior awning over the balcony is looking very tired and worn; it detracts from the view. The window shutters need to go; they take up valuable floor space, they cover part of the small couch when opened and are a pain to open and close. The TV needs a rotating wall mount so it can be viewed in comfort from the small couch.

Georgous location and lovely apartment.

Great clean apartment with an amazing view. Perfect for only two people though unless they get a better fold out bed situation.

The property said for three people but the fold out chair in the lounge was definitely not suitable for an adult and was extremely uncomfortable. Only really suitable for a child. The shower head was also broken which we reported to management.

Great location and apartment just needs some work to bring it back to a good standard.

There was a few things that were broken and needing to be fixed. Laundry capboard door broken, main tv the screen goes black after 1min of watching, outdoor table rusted and falling apart, main bedroom soap shelf missing and there was a film on the tiled floors that caused them to be slippery and no mop to try and fix it.

Uncomfortable

The location is why we book.

I had an allergic reaction to the bed sheets. Whether it was washing detergent or some bug spray applied. I washed fairly heavily and could not sleep on the sheets. One towel per person in a hot humid environment is ridiculous. 2 single beds pushed together and not secure made the sleeping arrangements even more uncomfortable. Shower gel provided seemed watered down. No fly screens on windows.

Wonderful stay and great transaction with property management!

The unit and pool were perfect for us. The pull out chair was tiny but comfortable. Beds were comfortable. Ocean and pool views were great!

The dryer was broken and the chest of drawers.

Good holiday stay. Great location and pools.

Easy check in. Everything was there for self contained facilities.

It was not as clean as I would have liked. Floor felt slippery under foot. Bin needed to be wiped over. Shutters require maintenance.

Confusing

Location being right opposite the beach

Poor communication due to the external property management If anything is wrong with your accommodation the hotel will not assist you. You have to drive 10mins from the location to retrieve and return the key I would not recommend going through this third party to book your stay.

We had a 6 night stay @ premium prices and very disappointed with NO response from the private management of the apartment re issues with the apartment. No internet connection. Broken dishwasher - unsafe to use, broken dryer unsafe to use, broken cupboard in kitchen.

The Mantra is very tired and old. I would not recommend any of my friends and family to st

It was easy to collect the keys

Having to take them back. The mantra is is need of refurbishment and my unit was at the end of a wing. I have a disability and found it hard walking this distance a few times a day. Also a conference was on so they took over the facilities and the bar.

The apartment was very well equipped with everything we needed and more.

The apartment was very well equipped with everything we needed and more. Beds were comfortable. Location of the apartment to the main lobby was also good. Parking downstairs was very convenient. The key system with the door lock and then key lock inside was great. Really convenient to leave the apartment and know you can leave the key behind when going to the pool.

The toilet in the main bedroom got stuck occasionally and the water kept running.

There could have been clearer instructions on how o work the oven. Also a broom would have been good, we only found the vacuum on the last morning.

Really nice stay would highly reccommend

It was really nice and easy to access. Had no troubles with anything. Privacy was nice and beautiful view. Very nice as well to be given the wine bottle.

Price was maybe a little high. Although it was a great location it was quite expensive but I understand why it is so.

Was a lovely relaxing getaway, restaurants down stairs are amazing

The room was not as advertised. There was no sitting area in the room, no sofa or chair to sit on, as well as no desk; nor coffee/tea maker either. Therefore, I do not believe it was a good value for money, I would not spend that much for this room. I feel like there should be compensation of cost.

These appartments that are just out of town are fantastic. They have all the facilities covered

The apartment was clean and tidy and had almost everything we needed .

There was only 2 coffee sachets. It would have been good if they had stocked them up, but that is very minor.
