We had a lovely stay here! Bill was so kind and easy to communicate with. The condo is beautifully decorated, it was so nice there were pretty Christmas decorations too! We were at St James for an extended family gathering and this place made our visit extra special!

St. James is a very special place, and the Club Villas are the “Crown Jewel” for temporary lodging. Our place was beautifully decorated, comfortable and well equipped. And to top it off, our host, Bill, was the most accommodating of any owner I have ever met…a true gentleman. This villa is the place to stay!

Clean, bright, cute condo with everything you need, overlooking the golf course in beautiful St James. We really enjoyed our time at the beach and having access to the beach club. We lunched at the marina, shopped in Southport, and had a fabulous dinner at Salt 64 in Oak Island. Bill was a great communicator. All on all, it was a great little getaway !

The Condo at St. James was just what we needed. Beautifully decorated and very much like home. We had everything we needed in the condo. Bill was very responsive and truly had southern hospitality in North Carolina. We enjoyed all aspects of staying at St. James plantation. Both pools and beach access from the Club on the beach were exceptional. Amazing privacy, well stocked, and a great patio to enjoy any time of the day. We would stay again at Bill's place.

The pictures definitely don’t do this condo justice. It was bigger than I thought from our listing and perfect for our family of four. Everything was very clean and the only downside I saw and was unaware of was: There is a pool at the beach that you have access to where you can use the pool, showers and restrooms. I wasn’t aware that we wouldn’t be able to park there as well. Only owners can park there. I saw in info given that there was public parking but thought it was in addition to parking inside the private lot. You have to pay to park in the public access which is $20 a day or $80 for the week. We never had an issue finding a spot but the weather wasn’t great so I’m not sure if that’s normally a problem. I would have just liked to know more specifically about the parking especially because I’m over 30 weeks pregnant and any additional walking is sometimes hard 😅 Everything other than that was beautiful. A map of the plantation area would have been nice because we had to search on google for things like the kids playground. Communication with Bill was super quick and he was always very polite (even when we accidentally locked ourselves out😬😬). We loved our stay and would love to return someday as a family of 5!

We truly enjoyed everything about our stay at St. James. It was close to Oak Island but much more reasonably priced than OKI hotels, etc. We really wanted an outdoor space and the porch was perfect for us. The home is beautifully appointed and all of the little details were taken care of. The home was very clean, and the Property Manager, Bill, was welcoming and responsive. The St. James neighborhood is beautiful and there are endless paths to walk on. We especially enjoyed the walk out to the pier/intracoastal. Neighbors were friendly. While there were people living in the condos around us, we never heard them. One of our favorite aspects of this property was how quiet and peaceful it was. We look forward to returning!

Great property. After a few minor glitches, everything was great. Owner was attentive to early issues. Beautiful property. Very clean & convenient. St James is a great plantation with beautiful surroundings. Be ready to pay for parking if you choose to go to the beach & try to use the beach club. About 6 public parking spots nearby. Otherwise, a great stay. Would definitely stay again at this property. The willingness of the owner to address problems was greatly appreciated & made the experience even better.

The property was very clean and beautiful. We did not feel crowded and the beds and furniture were comfortable. We loved the town of South Pork and had some great meals there .

Delightful cold weather escape! Perfect setting to enjoy the benefits of smaller crowds in restaurants , peaceful views and exploring Southport. Its a “be back experience “ & we look forward to returning to this comfortable, well equipped retreat!

From start to finish everything was fantastic. Bill was excellent at communicating the check-in process. The condo exceeded expectations as the pictures don't do it justice. Everything is beautifully decorated and everything you could ever want or need when renting a place is supplied. We will absolutely stay here again!

We had a great week here! Our annual vacation/girls trip was a success! The two teen girls loved having their own space away from the adults but also loved spending evenings/nights on the screened porch with the big girls! It was a great experience for everyone!

It was very nice. The MBR mattress was a little too soft. It had everything we needed. We loved the screened porch and watching the golfers come through. We wish we could have played there. Private course. The third floor was good for view but got a little hard for us retired folks by the end of the week. Good exercise though! 😎

We stayed here to attend a wedding in St. James. The place was great! Clean and very spacious. It’s on the golf course, so we enjoyed slow mornings on the porch watching golfers! Neighborhood is great and Bill was amazing! We arrived around 10PM and the GPS took us to the side gate, which closes at 7, so we had to get directions from a resident of the community on how to get to the main gate. Other than that, everything went smoothly and I highly recommend!!

Very clean spacious 2 bedroom condo. The screened lanai is large and well furnished. Beds are comfortable and towels are plush. The owner provides all you need to start your stay. It is well stocked with pots, dishes, cleaning products. It was all there. It is on the third floor so be prepared for a walk up several times a day. Great location in beautiful St James.
