If you plan to head out to our wonderful beaches along Cape Arago Highway (which dead ends at Cape Arago) there is a shortcut route from south Coos Bay to Charleston via Libby Lane. It makes Charleston 10 minutes away versus 20 or 30 minutes going through town. A map with the route highlighted is available in the apartment for guest use. Want to try your luck at clamming during your time in Coos Bay? A selection of rubber boots, shovels, and buckets are available for resident use on a first come basis (usually not a problem).
