The unit is priced reasonably in relation to similar properties in Lake Placid. We would return.

Good location, walking distance to downtown, easy check-in with the lock box and the host was very responsive.

While it is a good location in the town, it is on a fairly busy road which creates a lot of noise throughout the day, in the evening and overnight it is much quieter.

Perfect location and very spatious. Very well equipped kitchen.

Cute place! Very comfortable and homey; loved the fireplace, and the dining room lights! Decent amount of storage space in the bathroom, once you transferred some towels to the towel rod or hooks.

For someone staying longer than a few days, it could definitely use some more bedroom storage space. A shelf in the shower itself would be useful so you don't have to keep everything on the floor and stoop to get it. The toaster, while cute, was only semi-functional, only toasting on one side, and with one slot's base being bent so that bread on that side went down crookedly.

Overall a good value with a good location.

Great location. I found it walking from the arena in the summer. We did drive to the arena lot this time because of the weather. Parking in town is only $6 a full day.

The bathroom is very small as in there is nowhere to put your toiletries expect on top of the toilet. And, the mirror is barely usable, too high. The shower is great.

We had a very pleasant stay. The apartment was like home-away-from-home for us!

One property key was placed in a lockbox and the other one inside the apartment. It was easy access to the apartment no matter the arrival time. The apartment was well equipped (kitchen, living and dining rooms), was very clean. Edvina and Nevile (our hosts) were very accommodating and provided all the required supplies as we were spending a long time at the apartment (20 days).

Poor sound insulation between apartments.

I wouldn’t stay there again.

Noise of road, heat didn’t work - place was freezing, WiFi was spotty at best. Owners were not friendly.

Downhill apartments offer a quaint, comfortable getaway in Lake Placid that is a short walk to everything in town.

Very creative use of loft space. Very close walk to Main St and Olympic Center. Fully functioning kitchen for those that plan to eat in on some days. Sizable loft above the main bedroom but requires stair climb and headroom is limited but would be fine for an additional 2 young travelers to sleep.

Toilet/sink area is pretty cramped, but is separate from shower which improves “get ready” time.

The mattress in the room with the double bed needs replacing … sinks in towards the middle badly!

Beautiful apartment, very clean and kept up beautifully. Nicely decorated.The apartment had lots of room, two queen beds and a loft. 100 percent satisfied with apartment. And great restaurant next door.

Not as close to what I would call center of town. But that turned out to be a good excuse to explore more of lake placid.

Everything was great.

Nice set up with kitchen, living room area, comfortable bed and large bedroom. This was a suite, not a hotel room. Also, I was a day early and the owner let me check in and pay later. He is very pleasant and accommodating.

Great location. Very clean apartment. Place to sit outside with chairs and table.

Great price for a great location in walking distance of town.

Great location. Clean and quiet.

Minimal cleaning supplies in the room and no garbage bags. We had to go out and purchase trash bags.

Need too update website to what is really there.

What breakfast? The place want far from mirror lake and all the shops and places to eat.

Owners weren't friendly. Parking was terrible. Where we were suppose to park they had a trailer there. Bed was very uncomfortable. Bathroom was like a closet. Barely room to sit on the toilet. Shower was in separate room, no shelf for shampoo and soap. No dvd player, that said in the discretion was there.

Fantastic place to stay and highly recommend it!

The property was more that we could ever hope for. Clean, cozy, and large enough for our group.

There was a large amount of food that apparently was left by the previous renters as well as clothes in the drawers in the bedrooms, but over all everything was great!

Too many spiders, kitchen too small, stove top and pans not good for proper cooking, floor dirty (broomed, but not washed, socks turned black instantly), smells like someone smoked, bad ventilation, run down couches....

Tiny living in an apartment - fun & cozy cute!

Key collection was thru door code next to room. Super easy for collection and drop-off. Tiny living in an apartment - it was adorable!! Bed comfortable. Location just south of town was okay. Bit of a walk into town but parking downtown is easy w/lots municipal lots.

Shower was odd - opposite side of room from rest of bathroom - but we figured out logistics.

Great place to stay with a family. You can bring your own food and cook.

Loved the two bedroom, living room with fully equipped kitchen. Decor was cozy. Nice big shower. Loved the private deck. There is also a sleeping loft. Convenient drive to all attractions. Didn't like the $100 cleaning fee. Thought that was a bit excessive. P.S. cleaning service needs to pay attention to floor corners.

It was a great space and was close to downtown. Loved that it had a dishwasher.

The kitchen lacked a few things to make cooking a little easier.
