Our building has a concierge who will open the apartment door for guests upon arrival. In order for our guests to find their way around the apartment, I have created a video check-in procedure. After a reservation has been made, I will send a link to a video showing instructions. Once guests have checked in, I will call the phone in the apartment to answer possible questions. The Paseo de Gracia D apartment is a lovely completely renovated 1 bedroom apartment in a beautifully maintained building located on Barcelona’s wealthiest avenue Passeig de Gracia, just a view meters from the main square Placa de Catalunia, the center core of Barcelona. The gothic quarter and Las Ramblas are only a stone throw from the apartment. From the moment that you walk into the beautiful marble entrance of this in 1890 constructed building, you will be completely captivated. This fantastic apartment has light parquet flooring throughout; the quality of the furnishings and tasteful decoration gives the apartment a wonderfully modern and elegant look... it has been refurbished to a high standard and this is very apparent as you walk in the front door. The living room comes with a comfortable sofa and 2 armchairs. This is the perfect spot to sit back in and relax; TV, DVD, all the appliances are top-notch making this a luxurious apartment. The sofa can be converted into a comfortable double bed for the 3rd and 4th guest in one easy movement. The spacious private terrace with table and chairs for 4 people plus 2 sun chairs is reachable from the living room. Orientation is south, perfect for sun hungry travelers. Even during sunny winter days, this terrace is a plus as pretty much covered from the wind. There is also a dining table inside the apartment which appears to be a desk to work on but can be easily converted and offers space for 4 guests to enjoy a meal. The main bedroom comes with a double bed and ample wardrobe space. This bedroom also has an en-suite bathroom tastefully done in marble with bath/shower and fresh towels, soap, and shampoo ready for use on arrival. Kitchen: The fully equipped and modern kitchen offers everything necessary in case guests wish to prepare a meal. All appliances are top brands. At the guests disposal are an induction stove, oven, coffee maker, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, microwave, toaster, etc. The apartment is located on the 6th floor of this elegant building and gets reached by using the glass elevator. The building's community is quiet and there is a very friendly doorman at the entrance. We guaranty that our guests will have a very pleasant stay here. So far we manage three apartments in this beautifully maintained building (Paseo de Gracia C, D, and E) and have the gorgeous Casa Verdu apartment just around the corner. 2nd time staying in Marcel's Barcelona apartment and was just as lovely 5 years later. Location is superb...metro station out the door...building is very nice with a doorman and lift. Apartment is spacious with A/C, laundry (washer and dryer), large bathroom, and comfortable bed. The outside area is spectacular and kitchen has everything needed to fix a meal at home. Highly recommend for a visit to Barcelona...walkable to most sites or a quick Metro trip away.

Everything about it was exactly as stated! Close to everything, easy to get to from the airport by bus, close the the metro and a lovely terrace! Marcel left great suggestions on restaurants and instructions about the home. We had a wonderful stay - cut short unfortunately, but we will be back!

My wife and I really enjoyed this apartment. The location is great for access to countless restaurants and shops right out your front door. There is a very large balcony, the bed is comfortable, and the bathroom is also very nice and not cramped. The owner, Marcel, was very easy to work with and get hold of with questions. He also helped arrange a taxi to get us to the airport on short notice. We will definitely be coming back to Barcelona and will be sure to stay here again!

The apartment was very clean, worked out well for 4 women sightseeing from the US. It was in a nice location, just down the street from Casa Batlo, and close to a grocery store also. We walked all through the city from here. Marcel was very accommodating in allowing us to store our luggage both before check in time on our arrival date and after our checkout time on our discharge date.

Marcel's apartment is an outstanding place, the location is fantastic right on the main festive street of Barcelona ( the metro is just outside the apartment door)- Plaza Catalunya is 5min walking which means any public transport and the airport bus is extremely handy. The apartment facilities are perfect and the video tutorials/document book are brilliant to help with the usage.Marcel was extremely kind and patient with all my queries since the time of booking and even though we couldn't meet bin person, his detailed instructions and email made up for it. Perfect and wonderful stay for us with a young kid and the week spent here is arguably the best vacation we have had. No hesitation to recommend Marcel's apartment for anyone coming to Barcelona.

The apartment was exactly as advertised, Marcel was out of town but had everything arranged as hoped, and he was extremely easy to work with. We would stay there again. We were walking distance to Las Ramble and many of the popular locations.

Marcel's apartment is very spacious and has all the amenities that a traveler would need, including a great balcony for morning coffee. The location is ideal for walking around Barcelona and also has easy access to the Metro and taxis. Marcel was great at communicating with us; check in was very easy. My husband and I loved the location of this flat. It was only a 10 minute walk to old town and only a 5 minute walk from the Aerobus stop at Placa de Catalunya which made it so easy getting from the airport. The flat was clean and Marcel was a pleasure to work with. We loved the rooftop terrace, and enjoyed sunbathing on the deck. No noise at all even thought it is on a busy street. I was worried about that originally, but worked out great. Lots of great shopping just outside the flat, and a short 5 minute walk to the Gaudi houses to tour. I definitely recommend this flat and would stay again.

We've been to Barcelona several times. Thus was the very best VRBO. Highly recommended. Easy stroll to markets for cooking in flat. Lots of fine dining nearby. And in the very centre of the city's many treasures.

Super nice place to stay--probably the best location in all of Barcelona. The apartment is fantastic, simple but you have everything you need. The terrace is great. Marcel was extremely helpful in meeting us, making some recommendations, and helping to book an early morning taxi to the airport. Many thanks and highly recommend.

The apartment is ideally situated to walk to all the major attractions, and the apartment itself is clean, functional and well maintained. We think it needs a small dining table, as in January, it was too cold to eat outside on the patio table. Not a big issue, but it would make a great place even better!

GREAT location, just two blocks from main Plaza. Apartment was perfect, clean and well furnished and equipped and Marcel was great. I would absolutely recommend this apartment to anyone and everyone! We loved it!
