Beautiful newly refurbished apartment between Palacio Real and La Latina
About this condorental
Located in Centro, this lovely condo for $140 per night is a great option for your next break. A modern apartment, decorated with personality, where nothing is missing so you can feel at home. It has two bedrooms: one with a double bed and one with two single beds. In the living room there is a very comfortable sofa bed. The apartment is very bright. It has a toilet and a bathroom with shower. The kitchen is modern and communicates with the living room. It is provided with Vitroceramic, small fridge, hood for odors, washing machine, microwave, and has all the necessary equipment. It has a flat screen TV that will make the evenings more pleasant after a day of long walks. Of course you can not miss Wifi, very important in these times. You also have an iron and ironing board available. A clothesline, if it rains, and another exterior that overlooks the inner courtyard. It is a bass with elevator. The floor also has cleaning products, toilet paper, hand soap, dishwasher, scourer, lullaby, ballet and roll of kitchen paper. At 7 minutes there is a Supermarket. There are bars, restaurants and shops. The subway is 'Puerta de Toledo', 7 minutes walk. There are also several buses. Although the apartment is very well surrounded by public transport, you can walk to the famous Madrid Trail, La Puerta de Toledo, Madrid Rio, La Almudena Cathedral, Royal Palace, La Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor and the lively Barrio La Latina where you can find many restaurants, cafes, theater, etc. For those who come by car, I recommend a Parking that is 10 minutes away by car and the price is € 8 / day and € 40/7 days. This place was perfect for my family. There was 2 bedrooms (Three beds) and a couch that converted to bed. The location was quiet and also walkable (15 min) to the royal palace and grocery store (7 min). Rondas was a nice restaurant down the street that made great egg sandwiches (affordable!). We would also walk to streets full of restaurants (10 min). We were 7 min walk from the train stop at Puerto de Toledo which we used to get everywhere within the city of Madrid. The host was very kind and attentive and made check in super easy.

Fun art, spacious living space, great shower. It would have been nice to know ahead of time that there are 1 1/2 baths rather than two full baths. Thin hard squeaky mattresses on twin beds…and double bed had broken slats. Good location and a fun place for coffee and tostada just up the street. Marina was very helpful with directions, suggestions for places to eat, and getting us a ride to the airport.

I really liked the local neighborhood feel. Very convenient to all parts of Madrid. A little hike to the supermarket and metro stop but I like to walk so it wasn’t a bother for me. The beds good be more comfortable but otherwise, everything was as pictured and Marina was a very responsive host and gave me great tips!

The property was centrally located where we were able to easily access all travel and food services. A beautiful apartment, very clean, comfortable, relaxing, etc. I can’t say enough good things about the owner, Marina Cuevas! Starting from America, she was in constant contact with us; gave explicit instructions as to the apartment. Gave wonderful guidance to taxi, train, restaurant and supermarket services. She would check in via text occasionally to see how we were doing. Offered taxi advice on both coming and going to the airport. I can go on, but I’ll end here by saying I highly recommend it !!! Thanks Marina!!!You made it an enjoyable experience!

Great for our family, 1.5 baths was perfect for us. It's easy to catch the bus to get to all the touristy stuff but also in a more "regular" neighborhood with locals, a few bars, restaurants, etc.

We had a very enjoyable stay at this apartment in Madrid. It was a good location in the heart of the city, near La Latina and a short walk to Plaza Mayor. Marina was helpful and responsive. The apartment was spacious and comfortable. The layout of the rooms worked well for 3 people, and a nice feature was having 2 bathrooms.

We stayed in Marina’s adorable apartment for 4 days and it was so conveniently located to everything we did during our stay. We took cabs, ride shares and mostly the bus/metro which was an easy walk to all the main stations.
Marina’s unit had everything we needed for our stay, was clean and spacious. There were adorable local bars that were 30 feet away and we would have our happy hour there before heading out to dinner.
Marina was excellent at communication, even getting a hold of me a few days before my arrival to see if I needed any transport to the unit from the airport. Her husband met me at the unit and explained all of what I needed to know but really everything was so self explanatory. Marina would check in every couple of days to see if I needed anything and would also send recommendations for things to do or eat.
I recommend Marina’s unit for anyone looking for a quiet location! Perfect for our stay.

Marina was a wonderful host. Very helpful and responsive to any questions or needs we had. The apartment is in a good location and we were able to walk to everything we wanted to do. The apartment had everything we needed. We did not spend a lot of time there but when we came home after a long day of walking 10-12 miles seeing all the sights, it was comfortable to come home to. Good value.

The apartment was a perfect fit for our 2-week stay in Madrid!
It’s located within an easy walk to the Puerta de Toledo metro stop, as well as several bus stops.
It’s a good size, with a full kitchen. The bath and a half suited us just right, and the clothes washer and drying rack were very convenient.
A well organized, clean space with thoughtful extra’s: Plenty of blankets, Madrid maps and brochures provided, all the small appliances and dishes for cooking meals and making morning coffee.
We enjoyed relaxing in front of the large TV in the evenings after long days of exploring.
A small convenience store and a few neighborhood café/bars were very close by.
Marina, our host, speaks English beautifully, and she was very helpful. She provided us with a list of potential city sites, and she kindly arranged a taxi to the airport.

Booking and communication were great. Maria met us at 0100 after a very late flight. She provided a huge list of recommendations for food and was so kind about checking in with us as we lost our luggage. The location is near a market and a short walk to la Latina with so much good food and central to everything else. A short Uber to the more distant part of town was never a problem. I would highly recommend 😊

It was a nice place on a quiet street. Able to walk to many tourist attractions. Our plan arrived in the morning and we were able to check in early. The only negative thing would be to have more towels provided and to have a dryer. Otherwise the host and the place were wonderful!

The apartment was in a quiet neighborhood but well located for visiting many of the sights of Madrid. It had nearby neighborhood restaurants, a grocery store, bakery, etc. We walked to many venues though they required some uphill treks. The apartment was well furnished and we cooked our breakfasts and an occasional dinner there. Our hostess could not have been more lovely or helpful. We felt like cared and cherished guests.

We had a wonderful stay at Marina’s apartment. She warmly met us when we arrived and helped us use the lift for wheelchair access. Good restaurants are right on the block and it’s a safe and lovely 12 minute walk to the Royal Palace and Plaza Mayor. We made dinner one evening and the kitchen had everything we needed. Super grateful for Marina’s superb communication and assistance. We would definitely stay here again!

The apartment was very comfortable . The beds were comfortable . The washer was appreciated as we had to do laundry , as it was hot when we were there. Marina was very responsive when we had an issue with the shower. The apartment has one full bath and a half bath .
Marina gave us some good recommendations for eating close to the apartment , and for a special dinner out. There was a grocery store within walking distance . Buses and subway were very close . The free mini buses were by Puerta de Toledo .
We would stay at the apartment again and recommend it to anyone looking for a two bedroom apartment.

We had a wonderful time in Madrid and our VRBO host, Marina helped make it so. Marina provided guidance on both getting to/from the apartment as well as many tips about the local neighborhoods.
The apartment was well equipped and conveniently located just south of the La Latina district, which has many, many restaurants and shops. It’s also very near the Royal Palace and the San Francisco Cathedral. We were able to use the hop-on, hop-off bus by walking a short distance up to the roundabout. E-bike and scooter parking is also located very close to the apartment, if you prefer.
Marina communicated very well and met us at the apartment for check-in/orientation.

There were 5 of us in my family traveling Spain and Madrid was out last stop. It was so nice to stay in a home after staying in hotels. I picked it because it the high number of positive reviews and we were not disappointed! We walked everywhere but Uber and taxis were also readily available, there’s a super market near by, and a number of near by restaurants. Marina was a super communicative hosts just as the reviews said. Very grateful for our time in her apartment!

Marina was very helpful, she gave us good tips for restaurants and to visit the city. We enjoyed our stay in the apartment. It was very nice and clean and we loved that it has two bathrooms( nice with teenagers). We walked most of the times but taxis in Madrid are well priced and it was easy to move around with the whole family.
