Great memories but could’ve been better

The property was located on the first floor right in front of the one of the pools with ocean view. This was a convenience for me and the children. The property was clean with dishwasher, dishes, lots of towels and soap. Overall the property was nice and clean.

The master shower was clogged and was unable to be fixed until the next day which was an inconvenience for my family of four. We had to be there for them to fix it which took up some of our vacation time. There was no broom but there was a vacuum. With all the sand a broom would’ve been a lot more helpful. The owner offered no compensation and which we felt our checkout should’ve been extended as a courtesy for the inconvenience. He charged us for late checkout but eventually refunded the charge. I also wish that resort tents and lounge chairs were included.

Exceptional

The resort was perfect for us. We wanted a great view and to be on the beach. We had both. Heated pools were great since it was really cold weather. Tiki bar at the pool had food and drinks , so we really didn't need to leave the resort, but when we did there was alot of restaurants and stores near by. Great location. I will definitely be back. Manager Joe was really great. He helped me out with a third party situation. He was super helpful.

love Destin, poor choice of accommodations

privacy, dirty, dated and ability to use complete rented condo. Painting of outside of condo in process, our doors were opened and travel through happening without notice. stool was broken and taken out of use during stay. condo was not clean, walking on floors and feet would be dirty . the condo should have not been available for us to book with the painting being in process and if the cleaning service would have notified the leaking stool prior. it had been leaking for some time.

Location to the beach and the surounding Destin area.

Having to contact maintenance less than 24hrs after arrival. I understand that wear and tear is apart of vacation rentals. And everyone does not value or respect property like they should. That being said the toilet handle breaks due to being rusted out. Which leads me to think the bare minium is being done or people are being push in and out like a factory. Either way it was not the end of the world you inquired so I shared.

Access to the beach is phenomenal. The pools are clean and ready. Location Location Location.

The staff seemed like they were distant and annoyed to be asked questions. My toilet was clogged and stayed that way for my 3 night stay. The condo was deff showing it’s age, weather stripping on the sliding doors was in tatters. The hallway closet door was off it’s hinges. Elevator service…fahgetaboutit, it sucked! The beach is nice but the rental chairs crowd out the whole damn beach !

I will come back there again, but will never stay on corner units where trash is. And the noise was.

The location was horrible. The dumpster was right outside the door. Had a dead mouse in front of my door once then saw a RAT run across pool deck. I think the newest pool & hottub(which is the warmest & biggest)could use lights so that it could stay open past 7pm. That is horrible to herd everyone to other pool as much as we pay to stay there. Also with the trash truck coming every morning was hard to sleep in with all the noise.

I forgot to add that the cleaning of the floors were AWFUL. I wasnt there 5 minutes and feet were black. So that tells me they were not even cleaned. Also tub had to be washed out of hair before giving special needs son a bath. Awful

Peaceful and relaxing

The arms bands! The non removable band was dissatisfying! Even with being able to obtain a new one it’s a unnecessary issue! The more liked idea of a arm band that can be removed and reused would be much more efficient and better liked.

It was a good experience, other than having to sit behind the rented chairs.

we loved the short distance to the beach, the pools and cafe.

I didn’t like that the beach staff doesn’t allow you to sit your chairs in the water.

Was perfect for our short get away to the beach but unit could use some updating.

The view of the beach, nice size balcony for 2, plenty of parking.

Need a better way of dealing with unloading of new guests. The actual unit was fair but the couch and main bed very uncomfortable to sit or sleep on. I could feel the mattress springs as I slept.

Overall it was amazing and the convenience was great. condo could have been cleaner.

The pools and beach access were very nice. The many pools kept my toddler very happy and they were warm during early May. The staff was very friendly. However, we were only in the condo to sleep mostly so the access to the pools, parking and lobby was very convenient.

Our condo wasn’t very much to talk about and it wasn’t super clean, the dishwasher smelled horrible every time we opened it and stunk up the whole unit the one time I ran the machine. The couch had stains on it, floors were dirty and needed heavy mopping and the plastic chairs on balcony were cracked and one cut us when we sat down. However, we were only in the condo to sleep mostly. We also were woken up twice by cleaning crew going to the wrong room, both times while we were sleeping.

Condo was not clean upon arrival and we were not informed we could not enter at 4. Condo had been rented out for one night and housekeeping said they were not told. Housekeeping did come promptly.
