It needs to be very clear that this is a property for people over 70 with a ton of rules. You can not walk on the grass, you can not open your computer by the pool, you can not speak after 10pm, you can’t do anything. We were a group of mid-30s to 40 year olds with kids and felt like we were getting yelled at by our parents or teachers.

Proximity to the beach

The superintendent decided to question me, while I was on the property. I had brought my kids there and put them as additional guests. While walking to the beach he yelled at me, asking what I was doing there? This was complety unacceptable and scared my children. I replied that he has seen me that morning and could see my room key if he so desired. I'm still unsure of what the cause of this was. The only thing I had done was brought my young children there for the afternoon. Seems odd that they were the cause of such anger and outrage. Only go here if you are over 55, otherwise, the staff is only there to harass not help. Additionally, there was a party after quiet hours in the room above me. I heard the clacking of high heels while I was trying to fall asleep for a few hours. Seems as though that actual violation of the resorts ruls wasn't an issue but my children being. On the property was. Shame on you Ocean Dunes.

Freezer section was small. Stopper needed in the bathroom sink.

the apartment was a bit old and need some improvements (especially for the price). the faucet at kitchen sink was leaking, the toilet was not so good at flushing (needed to flush twice), and the shower head could be better.
