Villa Leoni is ideally placed - close to the beach, to the old town and a lot of nice restaurants. The owners of the place make you feel very welcomed and are truly helpful. Highly recommended.

There was a construction going on nearby, but one can't do much about that.

A charming apartment, comfortable and warm within walking distance of the Old Town. Excellent hosts who went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable.

owners were so friendly and helpful, they really looked after us. we loved the facilities, the comfortable bed and the location!

Amazing location in Dubrovnik just above the Banje beach, a few minutes walk from the Old town. Very clean and newly refurbished appartment equipped with everything you need. There is a balcony with a sea view, great for breakfast outdoors. We stayed for New years eve and heated floors made the room hot enough so we didn't even use air con heating. There is Android smart tv with Netflix and wifi was fast. All the entrance doors have coded locks so no need for keys. Our host was great and very helpful. There is a free dedicated parking spot and that is a must in Dubrovnik if arriving by car. We"ll be coming back definitely. Recommended.

Pros – proximity to Banje beach and the Old Town. Very comfortable bed. Clean apartment. View from bedroom window

Cons – steps in both directions. In total there were 138 deep hazardous steps down and up from the beach, so we would not recommend this apartment for those with breathing or mobility issues. Had we been aware we would not have booked. To avoid these steps you can walk downhill but inevitably you are faced with cardiac hill on return or get an expensive taxi from the taxi rank at the castle.The apartment we booked did not meet our expectations – see enclosed photos. It was a mish mash of ikea furniture, thrown together and not well maintained. Both curtains had rips, furniture and paintwork was badly scuffed, electrics in kitchen were unconventional at best. (see picture of extension sockets) We booked this accommodation was because of the patio or outside space – however this was not attached to the apartment and we had to walk round the building, pass another apartment front door to our locked area. This patio was filled with a mish mash of too much furniture leading us to think this was a store area. Because of the position, lack of privacy and shade we did not use and we really felt let down by this. Therefore we went out every day and if going to Banje beach, this can be expensive if using the facilities and restaurant there. There was one washing machine for all which was often busy and situated in a communal courtyard area. Host did provide helpful information by text but apartment lacks a book/ information file with details on shops, getting around, taxis and take away info etc. Iron and ironing board was included in the itinerary but was not there and we had to ask several times for this. Host delivered it 24hrs into the holiday. The lack of the last two points meant we had to have contact with the hosts several times which we would not normally experience when booking private accommodation. Host also organised a private taxi transfer which we paid them direct for. Booking.

The apartment exceeded all expectations. The hosts were very nice and helpful. The view from the balcony was amazing with perfect view of the water and old town. Loved having coffee in the morning watching the sun come up. We can’t say enough! Highly recommend this apartment.

Only downside if there is one is that apartment is at top of a steep staircase so it’s a challenge going up and down but not a problem if you take your time.

This was a flatlet so breakfast was not included. A toast & capuccino for 2 in the historic centre of Dubrovnik cost us 56 Euro

I suffer from the heat so would have preferred a stronger air conditioner

Location was great.Superb views of old town Dubrovnik and the sea.Ten minute walk into old town with plenty of restaurants and lots to see.

Really enjoyed everything about the stay. Our host was exceptionally welcoming and helpful and gave us plenty of great recommendations on popular tourist attractions and areas to visit which we really appreciated. Our accommodation was the perfect size for the two of us and really clean with a really lovely view of the sea and the Old Town from our balcony. Couldn’t fault our stay here

Very clean providing everything you will need, the service they provide is outstanding.

Beautiful view from the spacious deck. Large bathroom and a good kitchen setup.

There are no hooks to hang anything in the bathroom.

We had a very warm welcome from the properties host. Great help throughout too (We went kayaking by recommendation and loved it!)The property is a perfect location, a short walk into the Historic town, accessed by steps or street above. Villa Leoni was a lovely apartment, modern, clean and cosy, our apartment also had a great balcony to relax on too. A fabulous place to stay!
