Exceptional

The apartment was just as it looked like in the pictures. Very clean and comfortable with a slight Mediterranean vibe mixed with a Caribbean vibe. The apartment had everything that we needed plus more. Anne attended to us on arrival and explained things to us and then we were left to it. However Anne was always on hand if there was anything we needed. Very lovely lady!!

A long way from the centre, transport is essential, especially after dark. Bus stop is close and bus services are regular and cheap.

Smithy’s Eco- Apartment is a well run apartment in the grounds of the main house. The apartment was spacious and comfortable for us. A separate gated entrance provided ease of access.

Lovely little apartment with friendly & knowledgeable owner.

Friendly, helpful owner & gardener. Lovely gardens. Well equipped kitchen. All spotlessly clean. Good base to explore the south & south west.

Dogs in the neighbourhood could be noisy.

A nice appartment surrounded by flowers

The host, Anne, was very friendly and helpful. She is interested in flowers and gardening, if you are too, it could be an extra plus staying here. The appartment was in a peaceful neighbourhood, but you do hear dogs barking and the sounds of crickets/frogs (?) can be quite intensive at night. Good and safe parking if you have rented a car. There are enough kitchen utensils if you want to prepare your own meal (there are no restaurants close by so it is either that or eating down in the city). Bus stop is close by, so you do not need a car to stay here (but it helps). Good price-quality.

There are two bedrooms but there is not really a table where four people can sit and eat together. For me the appartment is more for a couple or for two friends travelling together wanting separate bedrooms. The sofa was very unconfortable and on of the chairs had pins sticking out hurting you while sitting. I missed good chairs or a good sofa to sit on.
