The apartment was very clean and spacious, exactly as in the pictures. The location was great as we could just safely walk to the centre of La Fortuna in 15 min also at night. The bed was very comfortable and the apartment had everything you need. Susana was very welcoming and always available to help. Great stay and highly recommended!

The apartment was comfortable and well equipped. This place had the most electrical outlets I’ve ever seen so no problem in finding places to charge devices. There was a nice shared sitting lounge outside of the apartment In addition to a more private table and chairs for breakfast and coffee. The kitchen was equipped with coffee maker and blender, along with everything needed for basic cooking. The host checked in regularly via What’s App and was very accommodating and helpful.

It was a little further from the centre of La Fortuna than I had expected but that was my own miscalculation. It was certainly easily walkable in 15 minutes. The neighbourhood was good although very noisy with dog barking. We got used to it quickly though and didn’t notice it after the first night.

Outside of town in a quiet neighborhood with secure parking. We loved the apartment with all the amenities! Lovely family runs this outfit so a lot of personal touch. Definitely recommend!

a bit far from everything and couldn’t get a taxi, had to walk into town for that. it’s probably perfect if you have a car, which we didn’t. oven didn’t work well

It is near a grocery store and about 10 minute walk to the downtown.

There were bedbugs in one room. My two friends got bites all over the body. One of them even needed medical attention. They moved out and had to find another hotel room on their own expense!

This was such a beautiful well appointed space. The beds were very comfortable and the whole apartment was lovely. The directions were great and our host was delightful!

We only stayed one night. Would love to have been there longer!

Great little apartment. I loved the well set up kitchen. Very secure and comfortable. The manager, Susie, was very attentive and easy to work with. Great Little local restaurant on the same block and a grocery store on the corner. Very convenient to access downtown.

As the weather can be very hot sometimes, maybe a fan will be nice to have in the social area. One of the air conditioning on the rooms was very loud, which was hard for my kids to sleep tight.

It’s very cozy and comfortable. The shower is spacious and has warm water. The a/c was working perfectly. The beds are very nice. The staff communicates quickly to anything you need.

So I loved the location. 10/15 minutes walk to center of town. The lady that welcomed us was amazing and very helpful. The space was comfy for two people. Parking was tight but inside a gate so no need to worry about it. Beds, well the bottom bunks, were really comfy. Plenty of towels and blankets were nice. AC did its job and kitchen was well stocked with whatever we needed.

So first, I was over charged. Through Booking.com, I was told it was $216. When I got there, it was $216, then I was showed there was a "commissioned price" of $32 added. So in all my charge, was $248. Since I was dealing with the lady who worked there, who showed me the messages from the owner, (language barrier, as my Spanish sucks) I went to go pay using my card. I was then told, no, cash only at the place and to pay with card (as it is listed on Booking.com that it was allowed at the place), I would have to go to San Carlos. I was tired from driving and just went to the ATM 3 minutes away, got cash and paid in colones. Being overcharged was not a positive start. The second thing was the internet, which was basically nonexistent. It hardly allowed for steady streaming or even checking social media. I didn't even try to take care of business as it would drop continuously. I did reach out to Denia, the owner, and she said it was something with the network, but reading past reviews, it seems to be an ongoing thing. Last thing, was an ant problem. Keeping all food that are not in airtight containers in the Fridge was the best way to avoid contamination. While the location was great, and the place was comfy...being over charged, the hassles of paying, and the internet not being what it needed for a place of 4 apartments, I probably wouldn't stay here again.
