Disappointed mini vacay

The space of the place was great

The dryer did not work, the fire place in the living room did not work. Another of damage and limited cooking supplies. Entrance to the apartment look like it has been broken into. The property is not upkeep. Not worth the $1,100.00 I spent.

Stay was good. Met all of our needs (beds, public transportation). Issues were 1st world problems

Plenty of space for nine people. Very close (1 block) to trolley. Area was very quiet.

Parking was a bit difficult. More suggestions on where to park would have been preferable. AC system wasn't very efficient. It took three days to get temp below 80.

Superb

We received very clear instructions prior to arrival. Very easy to follow. Good location for us to attend my daughter’s Tulane graduation. Very clean and spacious Safe for all family members Close to a great coffee shop Loved the keyless door system Very reachable and courteous when we had a few questions Comfortable beds Great that there were several bathrooms and showers for our family They accommodated our early and late check out requests without any additional fees… Thank you

Unfortunately, The only thing that bothered us was the rumbling of the air conditioning unit. It was very loud in the master bedroom only which made it hard for us to to sleep well. The other rooms were fine.

Wonderful location, pretty and spacious apartment.

The location is exceptional. The apartment is spacious and comfortable and the kitchen is a nice size with a great island. The beds are comfortable and the apartment is quiet. It was nice to not have to strip the beds or do extensive cleaning on the day we left like so many Air bnb's require. I was a bit concerned before going that the street would be dark walking from St. Charles at night. There is a lot of lighting and we never felt unsafe. Great to have Walgreens at the corner and a liquor store one block away. Perfect for going up to St. Charles for Mardi Gras or the street car at other times of the year. Overall a great stay and I would stay here again/recommend.

While the apartment is visually beautiful upon first arrival, after staying in it you start to notice many things that will soon need repair. There are multiple cracked tiles on the floor, some of the toilets are loose, the sinks drain slowly and need some liquid plumber, it just needs a good going over but I wouldn't let that stop you from staying here. A side personal note, the pillows are very thick, if you like a slimmer pillow you may want to bring your own. I found all of the threats of extra charges by Hosteeva to be off-putting. Make too much noise, extra charge, extra people, extra charge (10 people renting one place is practically a party in itself), not out by 10am, extra charge of an entire day and then another $200/hr after that), and on and on with rules etc. We did not incur any extra charges and I guess they have to say all of that so they are covered but it's annoying. So it was stressing me out. We paid almost $9K for 3 nights but couldn't find out if we could get into the apartment 2 hours early until the morning of our stay, which added some stress during Mardi Gras as to where we could put luggage, etc. until we could enter. They sent me a list of places you can store your luggage offsite if we couldn't get in but that would have been super inconvenient. Fortunately we were allowed early entry at 2pm so it all worked out but if they could have told us the night before (they obviously know if it's occupied or not the night before) it would have saved us a lot of stress in our planning as we had people coming from multiple different locations. They say they can video monitor public areas, I never saw a camera so I don't know if they have one hidden or not.

Very good

Great value for money - we'd certainly rebook.

Furniture was quite dated. The "booking.com pics" were amazing, and the living room/common space was great, but the showers were subpar. The plumbing was also an issue, as we've discovered too late in the game. Overall, I'd love it if they updated the bathrooms, because they were not doing the property any favors.

We stayed July 22- July 25 and the only good thing to say is that the place looks really nice. It rained the entire week

Penthouse just looks nice

Big water bugs crawling around. Ceiling leaking and towels had mold on them

Definitely will be back

The check in process was fairly easy. Let’s just say the outside of the building should not be judged because the inside of this house is absolutely amazing.

They could have had softer pillows. They were extremely hard and a couple of the pillow cases had stains on them.

Heads Up Needed

We loved everything inside the penthouse.

We didn’t like that there were so many stairs to get into the penthouse and the outside was a little sketchy.

Overall the penthouse is nice and I love there are several bathrooms to accommodate the guess

The penthouse was nice But there was alot of dust on the room lamps & ceiling fans. There's alot of trash under all the beds.

Good

Very spacious and clean. Other than the opportunities listed below, it was ok.

The outdoor patio area needs attention. The chair cushions were torn and filthy one table was broken and only 3 chairs. There was mold in the bathroom in the living room area. I called to report the air conditioner unit in the livingroom would not get lower than 77 and no one ever came to fix it or call back. I sent emails about the broken window and no reply.
