Bedrooms upstairs but toilet downstairs

We loved relaxing in the garden and enjoyed sunset drinks on the balcony with water glimpses. The only minor hick-up was that the pin code provided by Bookings.com was incorrect but sorted out immediately on ringing the accommodation contact phone number provided.

Description of unit was somewhat misleading. No mention of two levels and washing machine, iron and ironing board are in separate laundry building (not in unit). Bathroom and kitchen are in need of update. Hot water in shower runs out quickly.

The beds and linen were comfy. Nice lounge suite. Living area was spacious enough. Location excellent as within walking distance of most places in town

We stayed at these villas 35 years ago and next to nothing has been updated. Villa 7needs a lot of basic maintenance done on it. Bathroom light didn't work so we had to rely on the toilet light or shower before dark. Toilet and bathroom knobs falling off. No basic pantry supplies, just almost empty salt and pepper. Small amount of dish washing liquid which didn't last our 5 days. No heating in 1 bedroom and the other bedroom reverse cycle didn't work. The screws dropped out of 2 dining chairs which were obviously cheap quality. All these things could be easily fixed and make it a more pleasant stay. Not a huge outlay and can't be put in the category of....."we've had a cyclone (2 yrs ago) and tradesmen and supplies are scarce".

Spacious, all facilities were clean, loads of hot water, plenty of equipment for cooking.

The property didn’t advertise as having 2 levels eg Stairs which my wife can’t climb, had to spend 2 nights on the sofa. Also needs completely re-decorating, bedrooms on the first floor, toilet on the ground floor?

Very good location and friendly host. The pool is clean, and once they fix up the gazebo after the cyclone and a bit of gardening it'll be fantastic.

Rooms are a bit dark and walls are paper thin, so quality of sleep all depend on your neighbour - nothing the host can do about. I'd have loved to have a dishwasher, not having one at my house, this would have been a lot better to get a few days off washing. Maybe something to add.

The location was great, walking distance to shops and a couple cafes and bakeries. The villa itself was very large and spacious being two stories, lounge area below and bedrooms upstairs. Having a full kitchen with all the utensils and cookware was very handy and the size of the lounge with the tv meant we could really wind down and relax. Overall the room was very relaxing and we had a great time there.

The bathroom was a bit old and could have down with a deep clean but still good.

The location was excellent. Walking distance to most of the town and beach. Great BBQ area.

The noise from the neighbours was loud due to the louvre windows and unable to block it out well.

Had a pool if you like to sit around

The place was in a perfect location and was easy to walk into town if we needed too. Nice sitting places either at the front or the back of the villa. Beds were comfy. Nice spaced rooms/ areas in villa.

No Hot water for most of the stay. Pillows were horrible and uncomfortable. Wifi was a hit and miss. No shade over the pool and only had shade to the side so kids/babies couldn’t stay in the water long in the 40 degree heats.
